Casa Mexico is hands-down one of my favorite restaurants in Winter Park—honestly, in the whole valley. The staff is consistently warm, kind, and welcoming, and the food is always fresh and delicious. Recently, I hosted a birthday dinner for my boyfriend here (he’s also a huge fan), and they went above and beyond to make it special. Our reservation was for a large group, but even when more people showed up than expected, the team handled it with ease and grace—what could have been a stressful situation turned into a smooth, enjoyable evening.
I also want to mention something about the negative reviews: in my experience, Casa Mexico is consistently excellent. Sometimes people who leave one-star reviews are hard to please anywhere, and that’s definitely not a fair reflection of this restaurant. Casa Mexico is amazing—great food, exceptional service, and always a welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely the worst dinner I ever had. Had fajitas with 2 overcooked shrimp. 4 pieces of Steak that must of been cooked the day before and the chicken was burnt.

Very mediocre food. Margarita wasn’t great. Modelo was slightly chilled. Very disappointing Mexican food. Queso never arrived and what we ate made me have regrets. Don’t mind spending money on good food but this wasn’t worth what we paid.

First of all, our waitress barely spoke a word to us. He didn't give us our utensils until the food came. We had to ask for napkins. Also we did not get straws. The beans were watered down and definitely came from a can. The chicken tasted like it came from a can. The Waiter was impatient. Food tasted mediocre for the price. Not worth it. Look, i don't write reviews but I had too for this one.

You can't go wrong with any dish here. The lean on the spicier side but they'll guide you on which dishes arent too hot. The creamy jalapeño sauce is fantastic
Wow! The food, the service, and the ambiance were absolutely outstanding. Their house margaritas were delicious, and the in-house tequila shots (on the house!) were the smoothest I’ve ever tasted — hands down the best tequila I’ve ever had. My kids devoured their entire plates, even with the generous portions — it was just that good.
They even let us wear their beautifully decorated sombreros for a fun family photo. We’ll never forget our experience here. This place truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Our family of 8 LOVED this place! The service was top-notch, so friendly and welcoming. Everyone went out of their way to make it a fun experience for all of us. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the steak tacos, veggie taco salad, sopa de la casa, and the burrito del jardín. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The homemade tequila (from a hoof!!) was delicious👌, and the kids were thrilled with the fried ice cream for dessert. We’ll 💯 be back next year during our Winter Park vacation. Thank you for such a fun and memorable evening!
