For a mountain town hotel bar and restaurant, it's perfect! We watched the Superbowl here and the vibe was awesome! The Snowflake Martini and the Hazelnut Old Fashioned were perfectly crafted cocktails and we could not get enough of them. I've never had hazelnuts roasted in a drink before and it's fantastic! They also have a real ski you can do shots off of with a group of 4. This was also a unique experience. The food menu was pretty limited and they were out of some things, but overall what we did order was great! It's nice that we could have this option while staying at the resort and then walk back to the room. They also have darts and a pool table.

The menu was the first indication this place was not going to be good. Then random people in pajamas started showing up behind the bar to pour themselves drinks. I made the mistake of ordering the ribeye steak, which was very undercooked and overall tasted terrible. The staff were very friendly, but the service was poor. A family next to us left to eat elsewhere. However, the shift manager was the only saving grace who did a great job.

I am from LA. I went on a family snowmobiling trip on a Winter Park trail. After a long day we just want food. Well let me tell you the food was great. I love an equal amount of spice for my meal and man! I just loved my experience. Great Chef and happy servers! Thank You.

While skiing for four consecutive days, I felt I really needed some veggies, and Moffatt Tunnel Restaurant had just what I wanted. A couple of the salads sounded really great -- and you can add protein to them if you want to, I was informed my the friendly and helpful server/bartender. I ordered the House Salad which was spring mix greens, a variety of tomatoes, candied nuts, shallots and any dressing you want, but balsamic vinegar is recommended if you don't specify. The salad was huge and yummy. I got it to-go because I was staying in the Winter Park Mountain Lodge, where Moffatt Tunnel Restaurant is located. And when I picked it up, I saw three beers on tap, with an IPA and Montucky lager sounding especially appealing. I asked a bar patron, and she said a usual beer is $4 and specialty beer $6, she thought. A few couples were at the bar and a table, and the atmosphere was pleasant, and the decor attractive. Anyway, I'd eat here every night because the menu is so unique especially for someone from the Florida Keys like me... But I'm leaving tomorrow!

First, the person running the restaurant performed a miracle over the 2 hours we were there-- she ran the floor, waiting, bar, and greeting roles alone for the entire night, seating maybe 20+. I do not know how many were doing the kitchen, but they did prep, meal delivery and bussing. I think. Anyway, they were patient, very kind and friendly, the food was good, and all order was good and clean-- we were amazed as observers. This should never happen, but because of illness and quarantine in Feb 2021, it does. We had to wait a bit over an hour to be seated in a very large empty untended room, but we social-distance chatted w/ some other nice folks and soldiered on. Thanks Moffat, that was well done.

I stopped in last night to have dinner. I ordered the pan seared trout and a dinner salad. Food was served timely and overall presentation/service met all expectations. The trout was excellent and paired up with broccoli and risotto. Ashley and team made me feel welcomed and attended to. The west coast IPAS were a perfect compliment to my dinner.
