Go early don't go towards the end of the day. Atmosphere is sweet, food was just okay. It's pricey so be prepared. Large portion of frys which were really good.

This restaurant was a block away from where we were staying (Winter Park Chateau). It was a week night when we went and it was very busy. It was a casual restaurant where we had to order from the counter and the server delivered our food. My pulled pork was lean and tasty. My husband’s brisket sandwich was fatty which he didn’t enjoy. It was very loud in the restaurant.

We are here visiting from Texas, was craving some good bbq & stumbled upon this place. The food was so delicious! Ordered the brisket sandwich & added some swiss with a side of Mac & cheese, Colorado cubano with a side of sweet potato with cinnamon butter, & lastly a kids brisket plate with Mac & cheese & corn on the cob. Meat was cooked perfectly with slight pink & tender. *chefs kiss* 🤌🏽

I live in the area and have wanted to try smokehouse out. Went in to order and I'll be honest, it was a very odd process to order and to get your food. Sat down to eat and my first bite of the brisket sandwich was a let down. The brisket was cooked properly but it did not have an ounce of flavor. Not even a smoke hint to it. Which got me to thinking, I drive past smokehouse frequently enough and have never smelled smoke. Doesn't a meat smokehouse smell like smoke!? For being called a smokehouse and their collard greens tasting better then their meat, it was a let down for me. Grand County food has a lot left to be desired unfortunately. For 2 people and $60, I would say this is highly over priced for the area. Roadhouse on your way to Grand Lake is a win every time.

Great food! My family went here two Days in a row on our brief winter vacation. Sweet Potato was a fresh baked potato Fresh corn on cob not frozen Ribs were marinated and well seasoned Baked beans had onions and peppers in them and just let me k no w that the chef really cared about their product!!!
The service was great and they sincerely thanked us for our business. Would recommend to any out of state family visiting.

Not easily impressed by barbecue but this place was surprisingly good.
Just ok. The food was edible and had ok flavor. It was overcooked. Especially the burnt ends, which were way overcooked and dried out that only about two thirds of the serving was edible. For the tip that they request, keep in mind that you are ordering your food at the counter and clearing your own table. They do bring you food but don’t check on you again. That was our experience. I would eat here again, but I wouldn’t expect a great meal or service.

Wife and I went here for a date night and highly recommend. Food is fantastic and pretty quick. We had brisket, hot sausage, mac and cheese, beans and some fries. The only one that didn’t mesh with me were the beans but not my thing normally either.
It’s a small place but that makes it cozy, not crowded. Definitely give it a shot!

We loved this place! Far exceeded expectations. We had the brisket, the burnt ends and the chicken. All were excellent - moist and smoky. The collard greens were fantastic and the onion straws quite good as well. We really enjoyed everything we ate. Also, there’s a great energetic vibe in the place and it is super welcoming. It’s not fancy. It’s not quiet. It’s a barbecue joint and it’s a really good one.
