Browsing through GrubHub and wanting to try something new, this came up as one of my options. I have never been here so I wanted to try a mix of everything. I ordered a container of pernil (pulled pork), pig feet stew with rice, and fried chicken.
Right away I regretted my decision for not adding rice to the pulled pork. That meat was so juicy and succulent. The absolute best pulled pork I have ever had in my life! The flavor was great and the bonus piece of crispy skin brought it all together. The pig feet stew was everything I was hoping it would be. Soft chewy skin, meat falling off the bones. The rice had great flavor as well. Perfect accompaniment to the pig feet stew. Fried chicken was moist on the inside, crispy on the out, almost like a chicharrone but not dried out at all. The brine they used allowed the chicken to stay moist on the inside. This will be a new regular spot for me. The owner even called me when I placed my order to ensure everything was right as GrubHub has been confusing options for patrons. Overall, a 10 out of 10! There are many Puerto Rican food spots in the area but this place does not compare. It stands out from the rest! You've had the rest, now try the absolute best!
