Highly recommend the Southwest Chowder. We enjoyed the hanger steak with chimichurri sauce, rice and black beans and fresh veggies. Outstanding. We loved the tres letches - always a good choice. Our server, Eddie, was excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed dinner.
Everything start to finish was excellent! Had bang-bang shrimp and stuffed dares to start-both were very good. Two salads, hangar steak, salmon, short ribs and lobster risotto special. All very good including our cocktails. Reasonably priced for the quality/quantity of food. Service was excellent! Cappuccino topped off the evening-large cup and hot! We all really enjoyed!
Our first time at Uptown. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was AMAZING! There were common dishes with a small twist to kick it up a notch and they also had some different options. One of the best tuna tartars and hot chicken sandwich I've ever had. Great cocktails, too. Just thought that the prices were a bit high but unfortunately probably becoming the norm to pay $18 for a good burger.
