“I was recently there for dinner with my wife . Food was good , service was excellent and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating and we interacted with a number of them . Nice decor and spoke about coming back in summer months as the venue would be great . Unfortunately we will never go back . When I got the bill I saw that they charged me 75 cents for mustard that I requested for my deluxe burger , I was infuriated . The catsup was free but was blown away by a charge for mustard. Did not complain or even mention it . It was minor on a $60 bill plus a 25% tip . But the fact that someone would nickel and dime you like that said I will take my business elsewhere . Can you imagine doing that?“

I'm a tea guy but I like espresso martinis, and this just has chai instead which is top notch delicious. A nice drink in a Shelton dive, but the bartenders and regulars are also some of the nicest people. Come by!“

“I stopped in on a Wednesday night (during Yale commencement) and it was packed. The bartender, Michael, was alone. On a normal night handling a bar alone is already impressive, but with how packed it was, he was straight up masterful. I was incredibly impressed with how calmly and professionally he handled himself. Even with it being as hectic as it was, he was still very kind, patient and charismatic. Truly extraordinary.“

This was my second or third time visiting Harp’s Grill Bar & Grill, but my first time actually sitting down to eat—and I’m glad I did.

I stopped in for what I like to call a “late-night snack” and ordered some wings. Let me tell you, those wings were delicious. Thursday night also happened to be karaoke night, and the vibe was exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was laid-back, welcoming, and full of good energy.

If you’re 35+ and looking for a relaxed, grown-folks setting with a mix of cultures, good food, and good music, this is definitely a spot to check out. All cultures and all vibes are welcome here.

Because the weather was still good, the party took place in the Sky Terrace…the space was very inviting and large enough to accommodate the 33 of us! Ashley and others of the Caloroso team made sure that no one went thirsty or hungry! The buffet of chicken parm, chicken marsala, pasta, salad, and more was totally delicious and plentiful! The large screen in the room made it possible for all to see the birthday trivia game through which I relived lots of happy memories and milestones! I had no idea what was waiting for me when I walked up the stairs and went through the doors into the Sky Terrace…and I’ll never forget the SURPRISE experience! “First time in last night and couldn’t have had a better experience. Greeted immediately by Jayson and his wife Ara. Had a Korean bowl which was awesome after a long day of work travel. The Rasson tables had brand new cloth and played excellent and demands precision. Staff was friendly and service was excellent. Couldn’t recommend more and as a fairly decent player, nowhere I would rather stop in. In fact I’d drive hours to play there any day. Not to mention getting to meet one of the best ever to play.“

“Went there last Saturday, August 3rd at 12:30 pm and had the best time ever. I spoke to Riley prior to going asking about the chocolate martinis and she told me that Allisa made really good ones. When we got there to celebrate a girl's day out Riley was there, our waitress Shelly pointed her out so I could go over and introduce myself. Not only did EVERYONE treat us like we had been going there for years and were family, but Alissa made REALLY GREAT DRINKS and the FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. My sister had a couple cosmos, and my other friend and I had the chocolate martinis which were WONDERFUL!!! We had chicken tacos, fries and the Burbon pork belly bites were SOOOO GOOD you would want to slap anyone who tried to grab any. This was truly a good time and although it was busy, loud and was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN because everyone was fabulous. I will look forward to going back next time I'm in Connecticut.“
