“I went to eat with my wife to celebrate our expansion of our business and anniversary. The food was very lovely and there was no wait. Marissa was very attentive and amazing. we got given wine from the floor manager, but then we were told that there was no floor manager; so it seemed like there was some power seeking workers. Other than that confusion everything was amazing. The bartender perfected our drinks and the chef coursed our dinner out exceptionally. Will be returning, hopefully not to be bombarded by the non existent floor manager.“

“I’ve lived in CT for 50 yrs and this was my first visit to Toads Place. Awesome venue for a show. Small enough to feel intimate but big enough to offer space. Sound system was great and the acts are top notch. Enjoyed the event so much, made me feel like I was 18 again.“

Staff was attentive and wait times for food and drink were short. Extensive tap selection, solid mixed drinks, and the food I had was delicious.

Fantastic selection of both retro and some more modern games, a smaller space than I expected, but that wasn't at all an issue, if anything it made it feel cozier and more like a classic arcade of the past.

“I stopped in on a Wednesday night (during Yale commencement) and it was packed. The bartender, Michael, was alone. On a normal night handling a bar alone is already impressive, but with how packed it was, he was straight up masterful. I was incredibly impressed with how calmly and professionally he handled himself. Even with it being as hectic as it was, he was still very kind, patient and charismatic. Truly extraordinary.“

“Bar 19 is the best bar in new haven super upscale and classy, Aidan and Olson are the best!!! I broke up with my partner and they went heave and earth to cheer me up. “3 of us came to watch my granddaughter play in a basketball tournament at SCSU. We had Googled 'dive bars' on the way. We were not disappointed. The neighborhood atmosphere was evident. From the 3 friendly patrons who greeted us to the genial bartender. A 'Cheers' atmosphere. The 'melt in your mouth' burgers were the best ever. And we were pleasantly amazed with the bill! A definite place to return.“

“Came to do trivia visiting from San Diego, CA. I gotta say what a good time! They have great food, greater drinks and impeccable service. Our server was Michelle and she was fantastic! We ordered the fish and chips and the turkey sub with fries. Both were delightful! We came in last place for trivia and got a consolation prize! ? Great times, good food, good people. “Mory's has great food. I can't get enough of the moule frites. Mussels topped with French fries and this amazing mustard sauce. It'll make you want to lick the plate. But please don't. Caesar salad is also a huge portion and can be topped with an add-on of chicken, salmon and even tofu. There are vegetarian options as well.“

“Went there for my birthday on Saturday…. The atmosphere was very nice. Drinks really good. Music even better . Was having a good time until one of the bartenders told us to move in a rude way. No we have been dancing and coming back to the same spot at the bar so it was empty . Y ask us to move how abt the couple next to us. Or other people that have been standing there the same amount of time or longer. Not sure if I’ll go back which is really bad . 1 person can really ruin the way u see a place.“

“Get the Caldo de Mariscos if you want a huge portion of seafood - comes with tortillas, lime wedges, and diced onions and fresh cilantro, filled with mussels, crab and shrimp! Straight from heaven! Everything was delicious and the waitress was so friendly and answered all our questions. They were playing music from the bar area which added to the festive atmosphere, and we loved the decor inside. Will definitely return!“

“Decent drinks and food. Calamari is great for a bar. They haven't had the correct ingredients for drinks all week. Small things like cherries, orange bitters, orange peel, etc. Also run out of normal brands a lot.
Decent enough but a little pricey for not being able to get a correctly made drink.“

“We just went for a birthday dinner. And some had the restaurant week menu and some ordered off the regular menu and it was an amazing. The portions are so big. BUT GOOOOOD. Cocktails are so dam good.“
