“was the for lunch on 7-17 all three of us did the lobster roll platter no bar drinks 1 app. tax n tip 193.00 which is fine i knew what i was gettingu . i found the lobster roll bland and boring . everything else was top notch“

“I’ve lived in CT for 50 yrs and this was my first visit to Toads Place. Awesome venue for a show. Small enough to feel intimate but big enough to offer space. Sound system was great and the acts are top notch. Enjoyed the event so much, made me feel like I was 18 again.“

“I just read a story about these people went to eat and witness something was so totally wrong . A trooper came into this restaurant and was refused service. All these was based on the owners feelings about the law enforcement. These men and women put thier life’s on the line to protect everyone including you Mr. Owner. This puts a bad taste in my mouth about the owner , not the restaurant. This owner has good people working for him and they do make good food. However I will never go to this restaurant ever again. All this happened two hours after the Bristol’s policeman was killed on duty.“

Staff was attentive and wait times for food and drink were short. Extensive tap selection, solid mixed drinks, and the food I had was delicious.

Fantastic selection of both retro and some more modern games, a smaller space than I expected, but that wasn't at all an issue, if anything it made it feel cozier and more like a classic arcade of the past.

“Love this place. Great pub food. Very reasonable. A mixture of Q college students and locals. Love their burgers BUT recently they seem to have changed the patty for the worse. Not nearly as tasty. If its because of a cost issue raise your price a buck and please go back to the old patty.“

“We happened to stumble into Elm Diner by chance, and what a find it turned out to be. The moment we walked in, the bright, welcoming atmosphere and spotless space immediately stood out. Then came Nicole, our waitress, greeting us with a genuine smile that made us feel like we’d been coming there for years.

The menu is impressively extensive, offering something for everyone. When our salad arrived, it was fresh, crisp, and generous just like the rest of the meal. Our dishes were flavorful and satisfying.

Nicole was exceptional, and the entire staff added to the experience with their friendliness and energy. There’s a real sense of camaraderie here that you don’t find everywhere.

If you’re anything like me, this place will set the bar for every diner you visit afterward. Every once in a while, you come across a restaurant that truly has it all, and Elm Diner is that rare gem.

“I stopped in on a Wednesday night (during Yale commencement) and it was packed. The bartender, Michael, was alone. On a normal night handling a bar alone is already impressive, but with how packed it was, he was straight up masterful. I was incredibly impressed with how calmly and professionally he handled himself. Even with it being as hectic as it was, he was still very kind, patient and charismatic. Truly extraordinary.“

I didn’t get her name but see her on the Christos fb videos. Did not disappoint was delicious. She is a great bartender and a wonderful waitress l. Brussels Sprouts were delicious as always I had a Cajun wrap and my son had a huge salad loaded with chicken and avocado 🥑 I remember Christos when it was in the plaza and the food never disappoints. I also enjoy the daily family specials text to me. If you haven’t signed up to get the daily specials text to you do it. So many great meals to pick up and bring home. There’s two different specials. Every day lunch and dinner. Give Christos a try if you haven’t been you won’t be disappointed. I live in West Haven but my son is lucky enough to live in North Haven and pick up from Christos on his way home from Westport.“

“This place is amazing! I’ve had such a great experience every time I’ve been here. The atmosphere is always fun, welcoming, and full of energy. The staff is incredibly friendly and works hard to make sure everyone has a great time. You can tell they truly care about their customers.

I know some people compare it to the newer, more expensive clubs, but not everyone is looking for a super fancy or high-end place. Sometimes all you want is great music, a fun crowd, good drinks, and a place where you can actually enjoy yourself—and this club has all of that.

One thing I especially love is how much room there is to dance. It’s a nightclub, after all! The lighting and party atmosphere make the whole experience even more exciting, and the music always keeps the energy up. The drinks are great, and the bartenders are always friendly and quick.

This club has been around for many years, and I think that says a lot. Businesses don’t stay open for decades unless they’re doing something right and have loyal customers who keep coming back. It’s great to see that they’re continuing to improve the place while still keeping the fun atmosphere that so many people enjoy.
