From the moment I walked in, it instantly brought me back to my childhood. The atmosphere is exactly how I remembered it classic, welcoming, and full of character. It’s rare to find a place that still holds onto that kind of nostalgia. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience just felt genuine. And shoutout to Bobby his daily TikTok jokes are awesome and just add to the whole experience!”

“Good news, ownership has changed and I am so happy that Olde World continues to be the best New Haven style pizza in North Haven and Hamden. Moreover, when I put in a big order of 15 large pizzas the other day they were able to make, bake and have them ready when we needed them. They really came through. Everyone at my event loved the pizza, including some real pizza snobs.”

“Love love love this place. I have spent so many hours hanging out here. In the morning it’s so fun to come sit on the couch and read a book — the coffee is delicious! And the coffee menu is really cool and fun. Any latte here is a win. And Hanna is the most incredible and friendliest barista!! It’s also a really fun vibe in the afternoon to come for a beer and hangs. They have vegetarian options for food usually and a great food truck outside. I am all about aesthetic and this place crosses all the t’s and dots all the i’s. My new go-to spot!!”

“I have been going to Aldo’s for many years and think it’s time I left a review. Service - always 10/10, can never do enough for you. Value for money - 10/10. Everything is reasonably priced and the quality is unreal. I’ve probably tried everything on the menu but today I went for the Sunday dinner. Why would you get a roast at an Italian you may wonder, well let me tell you, I am the biggest roast critique as I am pretty good at them myself, but Aldo’s roast is the reason you should get a roast at an Italian. Beef, pink and tender, Yorkshire, fluffy and crispy, mash, buttery and smooth, roasts, caramelised and fluffy, veg, seasoned to perfection, all topped off with a thick shiny gravy. Cannot wait to be back next week for another round. P.S always get the little meatballs as a starter as they are THE tastiest things in the world.”

“It's a been a few years since I last visited, but I still think about this place from time to time. Whenever I'd visit my friend in New Haven, we'd always come here to feast on tacos and other offerings like tortas. The tacos are great value: $8 for 4 tacos for most of the selections. Best of all, they have my favorite variety of taco: tacos de lengua. Granted that the tacos de lengua come at a bit of a premium compared to the other varieties, but I'm more than willing to pay the extra $2. The taco fillings were generous and the chips + pico de gallo + salsa verde that came with each order was fresh. I wish they also gave radishes with the taco orders, but that's a minor thing. Next time I'm in New Haven, I'd be sure to come back here to have those tacos again.”

“We stopped in at about 2pm to check this place out. We ordered the pretzel, wings and 4 drafts. The pretzel was good, the wings were great, nice and crispy. The grinder was overstuffed, the beers wete cold. Our only mistake was not knowing about happy hour. We will be back.”

“We went for a post funeral luncheon. It was a catered event in the private room. Food was good. Chicken and mushrooms, peppers and sausage, BBQ wings, buffalo wings, salad, pasta with vodka sauce. We haven't been in the dining room so I can't comment on that. We may go there again sometime if we're in the area.”

I highly recommend the spare ribs here. My child always says that the ribs from this restaurant are the best they’ve ever had, and I completely agree. The fried rice and noodles are also excellent—everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious.
What really made me happy was the service. The woman who takes orders remembered me, and when I made a mistake with my online order, she called to confirm the details. That personal touch truly meant a lot to me and made the experience even better.
We’ll be returning to Korea soon, and I will truly miss this place. I always recommend it to my friends whenever I can.”

“Been a whilel since i've had pizza from here and forgot just how good it was. We had a few different types , but the meat lovers was fabulous. Loaded with toppings, but not too much where its overkill. You can taste everything individually and it was very filling. So yeah, excellent pizza. 👌”
