It was my pup’s 8th birthday, and I couldn’t find a place that felt special enough until I heard about Wentworth’s. The team at the counter was amazing—so friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited when they heard it was her big day. My dog devoured her birthday treat (tail wags of approval!), and my mom and I were equally impressed. She had the chocolate chip raspberry and I had the peanut butter Oreo—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, creamy, and just hit the spot. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. We’ll definitely be back very soon. Thanks, Wentworth’s, for making our celebration so sweet!”

“Loved it when it opened. It seems quite popular as a watering hole for ypung adults so theres that. To me, the menu seems to have been culled down, offering middling choices for plates aspiring to be upscale but mostly sliding downhill. But, it has a big bar and very roomy dining areas. I'm not a beer guy anymore so I can't speak to that. Finally, it can get very crowded.”

“We just hosted a baby shower at Cafe Amici and can’t rave enough about them! The staff was exceptional, helpful and so kind. The food was also outstanding! Our event was buffet style and they made sure we never ran out of any options while keeping the food hot and delicious. Lindsay was especially lovely and cheerful, you’d think she was just as excited to be there as we were! We will absolutely be back!”

“We used Eli's On Whitney to celebrate my dad’s passing instead of doing a traditional funeral, and this was 100% the right choice.

We rented the downstairs space, which comfortably held around 50–80 people and gave us room to make it feel personal... memory tables, photos, all of it. They were very easy to work with from the beginning and let us have a lot of control over how everything looked and felt, which mattered a lot for something like this.

We went over all the food options ahead of time and everything was clearly laid out and communicated (timing, setup, etc.), which made the day itself run smoothly without us having to think about it. The buffet worked well for a gathering like this and everything came out on time.

There is an option for a bar downstairs, but we kept it upstairs..which worked out... It gave people a chance to step away, take a breath, and come back when they were ready.
Only thing to note is the downstairs space isn’t wheelchair accessible, so just something to keep in mind depending on your group.

They made something that could have been overwhelming feel really manageable. It didn’t feel like a “package” event..it felt like we were able to do it our way, and that meant a lot.

Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a space that’s flexible, organized, and easy to work with..especially for more personal gatherings like this.”

“So far, I’ve only had the chicken and broccoli which is very good, but I have to say the real star out of the two items I ordered was the hot and sour soup! They’re hot and Sour soup is the best I’ve had in the area hands-down however it is very spicy so if you don’t want it spicy, ask them to alter it. Update I tried the curry shrimp and it was the best curry shrimp dish of any Chinese food establishment I’ve ever been to.”

Our favorite dishes are the Massaman Curry, Tamarind Shrimp, and Spicy Bamboo, but every dish is so tasty and flavorful. Absolutely the best Thai food around!!”

“Use to order here a long time ago, and ordered recently not knowing it was under new management. Felt for a slice of pizza, but since they didn't have slices, I brought a small pizza. The second time I requested it a certain way and he delivered. I ate the entire box, you would think I was eating for 2, guest my appetite is back. The sauce did not burn my chest at all and I ate it late at night. I would recommend ordering from here.”

“I ordered a few trays of cookies for a party I was hosting. I called, a little flustered because I was feeling very last minute. I explained how many people I was hosting and that I didn’t know what or how many to order. They were unbelievably patient with me and told me they would take care of it. And did they ever!!!! Freshly baked, beautifully presented, and SO DELICIOUS! I was thrilled. Guests impressed. Delightful variety. I will be back and I highly recommend you check them out!!!”

“This is a wonderful Black owned family restaurant and bar. The food, drinks and service are very good and the atmosphere has a warm and inviting vibe. There is Comedy Night on Thursdays and a DJ and Karaoke on Fridays. The entertainment is top notch in this safe venue where the mature can relax and enjoy themselves comfortably. I love going to this restaurant.”

“Came here with a family member and did the AYCE for $31.99. I ordered 3 sushi rolls, 3 appetizers, a salad, fried rice, and chicken katsu. I really enjoyed all my food and the staff were constantly checking in to see if there was anything I needed. The value for the price seems to be good if you are ordering a decent amount of dishes.

One thing to note is that they handed me another AYCE ordering sheet only after I finished the first round of food. Also, make sure to not over order as it seems that doing so can incur a charge if you don’t finish your food. However, I left a few small pieces of sushi but ate everything else and was not charged. This is a great spot if you’re hungry.”

“Over a decade of deliciousness! It’s been 10 years, and I can still remember the Shrimp Bisque and other scrumptious soups. There was always an allergen-friendly option, which was just barely catching on back then. My husband would have soups delivered to the hospital if he couldn’t have lunch with me in person. Every time it rains in San Diego, we think of Soup Girl. So many flavors, very fond memories.”

Nice enclosed but out door area with seating. 8 large screen tvs and a projector used for many activities sports, presentations, DJs. Great for a nice cool out lounge. Even better for events as well. Food is delicious and freshly made. Without a doubt the worth the wait. Wait time for food is minimal not excessive. Wait times for seating depending on event. Great hospitality.”

“For the foot traffic here, I'm very impressed with the efforts of all of the personnel! It is not easy to keep this place clean. It is not easy to manage all of the traffic. Just in my two hours here. (Kids play area) I witnessed three families of 8 people each. Thats crazy. Anyway, my son had a good time at the play area.”

Between New Haven & NYC styles. These guys use quality ingredients and it is reflected I. The end product as well as the prices, which are slightly high, but absolutely worth it considering the quality. In addition to great pizza the wings at Whitney are amazing. Huge, meaty, super flavorful, FRESH wings are very hard to avoid.
They are open super late (between 1-3am while school is in session at The Q. Primarily takeout & delivery (they have a couple of tables and a few barstools), however the place is very clean. Even the restroom is glistening.

If you are traveling on the Merritt or I-91 a pit stop at Whitney pizza is the pro move.”
