“My niece gave it a 100 out of 10. She is a picky eater. She literally liked the plastic container after the banana pudding was done. We ordered wings, flounder, greens, mac and cheese, fried broccoli and lemonade. Everything was good. Don't walk run to one of the best restaurants I have been to. Amazing from friendly owner, fresh food, to tasty food. I will travel back from NY to partake in her amazing food. “My food was messed up at first and then a day after they look at my review after I placed it, they called me to see if my order was right, and I told him I called grub hub support they didn't do nothing they didn't give me my refund nothing and that he would we redo my order and deliver to me, and I really appreciate the service and I would definitely recommend this place in all it was a really nice place“

“I always use drive-thru ,but I never had a issue or complaint with the service or food. The employees are always friendly and have my order together quickly . The food is what you'd expect nothing over the top just chicken and sides . I am happy they started making bigger boxes ,because two pieces and one side never satisfies my hungry boys .“
“I just past by at Popeyes in Hamden and order the two can dine and I told them I want it fresh and hot and told me it was going to be 12 minutes so I waited patiently and therefore I waited and got my food ready to go and me and husband enjoy it the cashier very polite ☺️“
“Not sure about the negative reviews, we had a good experience! Everything was clean, employees were polite, food was fairly quick. This is a new location and it sounds like people were just really impatient in the beginning when they first opened. Slow service is a little expected when it’s a bunch of new employees at once. “I had heard positive reviews so tried it out. Wasn't disappointed. Got a small sausage and mushroom pie which was very good. Dough was good , fresh cut mushrooms instead of canned and plenty of sausage and it was cooked as I asked for a change. Also got a meatball grinder which was good also. New owner have brightened up interior of space also. Definitely will go back again“

I had fried chicken, collard greens and potato salad. Closest meal I’ve ever had to my mother’s cooking. So well cooked. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday dinner. Hats off to the Chef!
