Akatsuki offers one of the best tonkotsu ramen in the U.S. The pork chashu is melt-in-your-mouth tender and the broth is rich and flavorful. The yakitori sampler and assorted yakitori platter are also amazing, and the menu has many dishes such as tonkatsu with bubble tea combo, gyoza, scallion pancake, spicy miso ramen, and three meat sticks. The restaurant has a fun anime‑themed vibe with ninja masks, a Kakashi statue, plenty of posters and a unique immersive atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Food comes out fast, hot and delicious, and the service is kind and thorough. It is a small shop, so call ahead if more than four people, but the staff did a great job getting everything out. Highly recommend Akatsuki for anyone looking for delicious ramen and a unique atmosphere.
