“The food is delicious. I personally like the fries (good blend of spices that's tasty but not too spicy), mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. My wife loves the potato skins and burgers. We usually get takeout with curbside pickup and the food is ready really fast with great service.“

“Great food experience! Haven't been here in years. I wasn't sure if COVID had changed things. Just the prices. My brother and I had burgers and beer. He ate dessert too. Burgers cooked as request. Pleasant and low key server. Perfect Saturday night supper. Not cheap eats anymore but moderately priced night out for two.“

“The Everyday Gourmet is absolutely fabulous! We had them cater my grandmother’s 90th birthday party and they did a fantastic job.Pat was a huge help getting all the details sorted and made great suggestions for the menu. Good communication throughout the process. The food was delicious (people were talking all afternoon about how good it was), but what really blew us away was the service. Sue and Anthony were amazing. Efficient and professional and very friendly. They helped with everything from set up to clean up and did a great job of pacing the food throughout the party. They took especially good care of my grandmother, making sure she had anything she needed, taking the time to chat with her, and overall helping make sure her birthday was extra special.“

“It was our first experience at wayback burgers. It was my mother, my 10-year-old, my 2-year-old, my 10 year old's best friend, and IWe all got burgers and milkshakes and then we got a couple of fries to split between everybody. My milkshake, was a key lime pie milkshake, and that was the one thing I didn't really like too much. It was the aftertaste. I think they forgot to add graham crackers to it. The picture shows graham cracker crumbs but I really don't think they added it because I didn't see them at all. That's the only reason I give four stars and not 5.If you do go to wayback burgers, expect to have to wait for your food for 15 minutes or so. But you should be happy about that. That means you're getting everything dropped fresh specifically for your food. That's one thing I like about wayback burgers similar to five guys.I got one of those fancy burgers as did my son and my mom. My son's best friend got a regular cheeseburger and my two year old got the chicken tender kids meal with Powerade and fries. We split two fries between all of us besides my babies kids fry and there was even too much fries for the four of us lol.It was really good though. My son got a strawberry milkshake and it was absolutely amazing. I tried it. My two year old seemed to like my key lime pie shake but that's because he likes anything that's creamy and Ice cream like ??Thank you for the wonderful experience given the fact it was the first time any of us had eaten wayback burgers. And what a great experience it wasIf anybody is going to try to give you lower star ratings because they had to wait too long for their burger, then they are ignorant because they would also complain if you gave them a burger that was already cooked for the price that they have to pay for the burger.I'm not really sure what people expect, for five guys you also have to wait just like with wayback burgers. It's not a $2 burger from Wendy's or mcdonalds. It's a burger that is worth the price.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's meal selection and they also have seats for toddlers. High chair seats.“

“I've never felt pulled to leave a review for a McDonald's, other than maybe some bad locations, but this one is honestly a stand-out. My husband and I live here and occasionally go here as our cheat day. I have to say, every single time we're pleasantly surprised that this location is better than any we've ever been to. Food is always hot and fresh (I mean relatively speaking, obviously we're still talking about McDonald's) but it's just always good. Service is very friendly and I'd even say professional. There's one employee who's always a standout; for lack of a name he's a young white gentlemen in his 20s (slight country accent?) and just seems to love his job, always has a great attitude. He deserves a raise, he always adds a positive vibe. Also, Hamden is known for its homeless population and the other day we witnessed an employee offering an elderly gentlemen a cup of water on a hot day. The Play Place hasn't been open here for a while, but there's currently construction going on with it so we're hoping soon. Overall, it's just the best McDonald's we've ever been to and thought it deserves some recognition.“
