“On these hot days- ice cream is amazing. Dairy Queen offers an assortment of different kinds of ice cream. I had an oreo/ bownie Blizzard & loved it. My husband likes the cherry dilly bars. I was shocked @ how cheap an entire box of dilly bars was. Another favorite is vanilla on cone w/ rainbow sprinkles. Friday nights in North Branford they have classic carnight @ Dairy Queen. Great people awesome cars & ice cream. How can you go wrong.“
“One of my favorite places to eat at. Their menu items are creative and made well, often I can’t decide on which one to get. My family and I have gone here many times and it’s always been great! The owners are very welcoming and the staff is amazing.“

“This morning, my work took me to North Branford for my first job of the day. When the job was completed, being wet and chilly, I felt I deserved a break today, at McDonald’s.I went to this McDonald’s and took advantage of the Sausage McMuffin with egg special - 2 for $4.50. I also grabbed a hash brown to go with them. The ladies at the windows were both nice. The food was good and hot.The landscape was nice too. I don’t go to McDonald’s too often anymore, howeverI was happy that I went here today. This McDonald’s is top shelf.I was pleasantly surprised!“
“The best Romanian food I’ve ever tastedVegetarian options: My daughter always has the cauliflower steaksDietary restrictions: A friend needs gluten free and they have a delicious troutParking: On propertyKid-friendliness: Kids eat free on Wednesday“
“My husband & I stopped here for a Sunday breakfast. It was our first visit. The restaurant is small but clean & bright. The staff were welcoming & polite. I have to say it was nice to get a breakfast menu that wasn't 8 pages long but yet offered everything from traditional breakfast foods to ones with a little twist. I had a simple breakfast of eggs, home fries, bacon & toast. My husband went with Jose Old Fashioned Corned Beef. Everything was cooked perfectly, served hot & was delicious!! Their lunch menu looks good & they serve ice cream too. We'll definitely be going back.“
“The food is delicious. I personally like the fries (good blend of spices that's tasty but not too spicy), mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. My wife loves the potato skins and burgers. We usually get takeout with curbside pickup and the food is ready really fast with great service.“
“Wow! Great cafe! Ordered BLT with avocado, perfect! Fresh, crisp lettuce and a very tasty tomato! He had breakfast, their grits are absolutely fantastic! Couldn't get better grits south of the Mason-Dixon line! "Bill" owner, just a great guy who makes their own soups, muffins (the corn muffin was truly DELICIOUS!) Service was great, server anticipated needs, napkins, kept coffee cups filled. A very good experience and we WILL be back!“
“First time here and I'll definitely be back! Had a classic American cheese steamburger that was so moist and flavorful! The tuna macaroni salad and the potato salad w/o onions were So good. So fresh and definitely homemade. Quirky decor and signatures from wrestlers on the walls. Cute fish too! Great experience!“
“Stopped for dinner prior to the hockey game. Burger Fish sandwich slaw snd onion rings. Everything was great. Staff was excellent plus pleasant professional Dining room was clean food was delicious fresh plentiful. Could not have been better.“
“Clean, calm, and great menu to choose from. Staff friendly and welcoming.Parking: Great location on corner of Leetes Island Rd, in Stop and Shop parking area.Kid-friendliness: Bright, lots of room with tables small and large. Kids can reach and menu too.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide double doorway and way to tables. Access to tables and height.“
“Hard to make a choice at Jordan's. I had the KC Dog it was fabulous. My son had the Philly Cheese Steak and an order of loaded fries. He got Chili and Cheese as add ons. The chili was incredible the fries themselves were perfect.I already know I'm getting the chili cheese dog next time around. Can't wait ?✌️“
“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!“
“This is the place for you if you appreciate excellent customer service, savory, delicious food that tastes like momma made it, and a good laugh with great people. Cannot say enough about what a wonderful little place this is. Thank you Sara and Karen for cooking it with love every single time.“
“The food is good and this last stop at this location was the norm for the other Five Guys that I've been too. My issues are common, very high prices, uninterested and inattentive staff. For the price the least they should do is treat you as a person and a little more enthusiasm wouldn't hurt.“
“Great food experience! Haven't been here in years. I wasn't sure if COVID had changed things. Just the prices. My brother and I had burgers and beer. He ate dessert too. Burgers cooked as request. Pleasant and low key server. Perfect Saturday night supper. Not cheap eats anymore but moderately priced night out for two.“
“Went for Sunday brunch after Church and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the experience.Vegetarian options: This would be an easy place to enjoy an omelette or poached eggs with toast.Parking: Plenty of easily accessible parkingKid-friendliness: kid friendly restaurant“
“Starving and from out of town and chose the closest place. It's Absolutely Amazing!! The food was beyond good, it was absolutely delicious and I'm not one to give praise easily. The French Toast was out of this world good, like couldn't ruin with syrup kinda good. Then the JHB Hamburger ...had the home fries and egg on the burger!! Not only that, but the burger stayed together, and the bagel type bun didn't even get wilted with the juices from the burger or egg..it was crazy ...“
“I stumbled upon 2 Guys 1 Grill by chance and boy, was I in for a treat! The onion rings were a symphony of textures and flavors - crispy, greasy, sweet, and tangy all at once. They were like a carnival in my mouth, exploding with sensations that made my taste buds sing. And the burgers? Oh, the burgers were a masterpiece of meat and madness. They were towering monuments of beef, cheese, and condiments, packed with so much gusto and bravado that I felt like I was eating a challenge, a dare, a rite of passage. The atmosphere was a mix of rustic charm and gritty authenticity, with hints of nostalgia and modernity colliding in a kaleidoscope of colors and sounds. The staff was a crew of cool cats, hipsters, and locals, all of whom seemed to share a secret language of culinary prowess and streetwise humor. If you're looking for a lunch spot that will awaken your senses and stir your soul, then 2 Guys 1 Grill is your destination. But be warned, my friends, for this joint is not for the faint of heart or the weak of stomach. It's a place where legends are made and myths are born. A place where you can taste the essence of life itself, distilled and grilled to perfection.“
“The Everyday Gourmet is absolutely fabulous! We had them cater my grandmother’s 90th birthday party and they did a fantastic job.Pat was a huge help getting all the details sorted and made great suggestions for the menu. Good communication throughout the process. The food was delicious (people were talking all afternoon about how good it was), but what really blew us away was the service. Sue and Anthony were amazing. Efficient and professional and very friendly. They helped with everything from set up to clean up and did a great job of pacing the food throughout the party. They took especially good care of my grandmother, making sure she had anything she needed, taking the time to chat with her, and overall helping make sure her birthday was extra special.“
“I used to come here all the time and not really sure why I stopped. Finally came back and it's better than ever. Delicious food, great chopped salad and fried zucchini. Cozy place but never feels cramped. Make a reservation as it is small inside. Great service as well. Adding South Lane back into my rotation.“
“Attended a recent work team dinner. The service was very good considering the size of our group. We ordered several apps to share for the table and all were terrific. For my entree I had the honey herb glazed salmon with ancient grains. It was tasty. Everyone seemed very satisfied with their meals.“
“I got the street tacos, they were da bomb. I don't think their menu pics do justice to how good their food is, need better pics. Delicious food and you start to feel like you're in a different place after a few minutes, like Texas. Staff is fully bilingual and i saw someone wearing pointy toe cowboy boots. They give you apparently endless warm chips and salsa. I'll go there again.“
“Tried it for the first time today. Was curious about the place and so decided to try it out on a whim. It was so worth it! I haven't had a really good burger in a long while and this place did NOT disappoint at all. The fries were also a bonus of delicious. I would definitely come here again.“
“This Dairy Queen Has stood here for over 40 years, I remember going there in the summer time when across the street was Stop N Shop back in the late 70s. I'm so happy it still there and still the same. Best place ever. Wish i still lived in Wallingford. But i will be making a trip there soon and surely stopping by this place again. Thanks for the great memories.“
“North Haven Five Guys is a burger and hotdog haven! Their perfectly cooked burgers and hotdogs are a delight, and the variety of condiments and drinks lets you customize your meal to perfection. Don’t miss out on the Cajun fries – they’re crispy and delicious. What’s more, the prices are reasonable, and you won’t find yourself waiting too long for your meal. It’s the ideal spot for an easy and convenient dinner takeout. This is our favorite branch, the crew is so nice!“
“A quick stop Dairy Queen at a gas station have stopped here many times and there as good as every other Dairy Queen. There's just not quite enough room to wait in lineKid-friendliness: It's a dairy queen. Of course it's kid friendly. Delicious ice cream!“
“Takes me back to the 1980s. The burgers are so much better than the big three nationwide hamburger fast food joints. Also since those places have been raising prices like crazy there are minimal differences in prices but the quality of the food is so far above the rest.Super easy free parking lot and like the other place with the broken milk shake machine or the other place with only two flavors Friendly's has so many flavors and toppings you could try a different combination every weekend and still not cover it all in a whole year!I highly recommend the cheese skirt burger.Parking: More than you will ever need and it's free!Kid-friendliness: High chairs and a fun atmosphere many families having a good time. Kids menu as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking spaces and wheelchair ramp.“
“I was a manager at McDonalds many years ago, so I tend to be more critical when I visit. I travel all over the eastern side of the country and have been in hundreds of McDonald"s. They have ranged from adequate to severely lacking, never very good. But this McDonal's is the exception. Food is always hot, fresh, juicy, and delicious, regardless of time of day. Best McDonald's food I have had in many, many years. I know how difficult that is to accomplish, the owner of this McDonald's should be commended.“
“My family used to come to supreme seafood almost every Friday for dinner when I was younger. Ralph and Vinny knew my parents names and my name. Went back for the first time since the new owners took over and was happy to see that the food taste/quality and quantity was the same as I remembered it. Will definitely be back.“
