The staff is always very friendly; they often come over and ask if everything is okay or if you need anything else. What I like is that most of the time they even offer to bring the food to your table when it's not busy. I'm not sure if she's the general manager, she looks like an Asian woman, but let me tell you, she's very kind. I've noticed that she's very attentive to elderly people, which is evident in the appreciation those people show her. “I took my elderly mother to eat at this place. She loved the food, but especially the service and the atmosphere; they were playing old-fashioned music, and the staff was very friendly. My mother doesn't travel well, but a young woman helped us choose the best meal for her—she doesn't eat meat—ensuring we had a great experience; she even brought the food to our table herself. “So big deal here: not too long ago I called the General Manager about an unruly supervisor who literally dropped F Bombs to clients and was later told by workers that the supervisor "does that all the time"

Fast forward a few months and when I came back to have breakfast I was so surprised ? that the entire McDonald's got a make over. New tables. New smoking area. And New attitudes from staff.

I really like this McDonald's and having breakfast here is a treat. My only issue is that in the guys bathroom there was/is a baby changing station that doesn't stay kept up and away and gets in the way of opening the restroom door.

If you like pancakes ? and juicy burgers ? then come here. Everything was pleasant for me.

“Prime BRG was an absolute highlight of our day in New Haven!

We ordered the OG Burger, and it was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The New Haven Hot Chicken Sandwich had just the right little kick, with perfectly crispy breading and so much flavor!

And the sides! The fries were some of the most perfectly cooked fries we've had. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The onion rings had that perfect balance of breading to onion, which is harder to find than you'd think!

The buffalo cauliflower was another standout. I've typically only had it unbreaded, but their breaded version took it to an entirely different level. Absolutely delicious!

What really rounded out the experience was the hospitality. From our server Amanda to Christina behind the bar, both were wonderful and made us feel so welcome.

Fantastic food, great people, and an experience that made our visit to New Haven even more memorable. Definitely a place we'd return to!“

“Went there last Saturday, August 3rd at 12:30 pm and had the best time ever. I spoke to Riley prior to going asking about the chocolate martinis and she told me that Allisa made really good ones. When we got there to celebrate a girl's day out Riley was there, our waitress Shelly pointed her out so I could go over and introduce myself. Not only did EVERYONE treat us like we had been going there for years and were family, but Alissa made REALLY GREAT DRINKS and the FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. My sister had a couple cosmos, and my other friend and I had the chocolate martinis which were WONDERFUL!!! We had chicken tacos, fries and the Burbon pork belly bites were SOOOO GOOD you would want to slap anyone who tried to grab any. This was truly a good time and although it was busy, loud and was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN because everyone was fabulous. I will look forward to going back next time I'm in Connecticut.“

“Can't tell you how much I've missed this place, since not being I'm the area. Glad to be back around. Everything is ala carte, but the food is consistently delicious! Customer service is also good, just remember to bring cash. They do have an ATM just in case. There's also a few benches outside, covered by the shade of large umbrellas and the parking lot is a decent size. We heard about the bottomless mimosa brunch here at Cast Iron Chef Chop House & Oyster Bar so we pulled up to check it out! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the busy State Street is this gem. There's no private parking, but plenty of comfortable, spacious street parking right out front. Once inside you're immersed in a very fine-dining, elegant, laid-back atmosphere. Lots of woods, intimate-low lighting and upbeat music. I loved the vibes in here. The first room is your bar room where the rail is off to the left, but with plenty of seating to the right. If you continue through the room you enter the main dining room where it's all booths and other tables. Service: Stacey was our server. Things got off to a bit of a rocky start, but they smoothed out throughout the brunch. Food/Drinks: The mimosa was okay... It was REALLY strong because there's orange vodka and orange liqueur in it. It kinda killed the flavor for me because I'd prefer a traditional mimosa with minimal juice, but... no matter. They're bottomless... or supposed to be... Just be mindful of who your server is. Brunch can consist of a prix-fixed menu, which is what we did so we'll be going through that. First up were the Homemade Sausage Gravy and biscuits. These were super smothered and fantastic. Hot, savory, meaty, salty and even had a bit of a subtle sweetness. The biscuit was soft, butter and had crispy edges. Next up were the Cinnamon Rolls. These were HUGE. Lol. Like, how are we supposed to eat AND drink all of this stuff?! The exterior of the roll was crispy and the inside very soft. Not over-the-top sweetness or anything. These were very balanced. Next up were the Bananas Foster Pancakes. But this thing was enormous. It was so thick, like literally an inch thick. Lol. Fresh bananas sliced right on top, it cut like butter, was soft with the perfect crispy edges and these were AMAZING. Punch of sweetness up front, fluffy texture and just a great pancake. For dinner, this restaurant usually serves Cast Iron Popcorn instead of bread, so Stacey let us try it! It was smokey, a little-little sweet with a little bit of salt and maybe a hickory barbecue flavor. I liked it. Lastly, I chose the Steak & Eggs over Salmon & Eggs, but got to try both since my wife was with me. Each comes with gigantic fried potatoes, 3 eggs, a piece of toast, caramelized onions and your protein of choice. My steak was cooked perfectly (medium-rare). The flavors were excellent. It was a little fatty and just was done very well. Value: $64.96 for bottomless mimosas and the prix-fixe menu. Probably the best value brunch in the state. SO MUCH FOOD and strong drinks. I don't know what else you'd want! In conclusion, I really enjoyed myself here and have revisited since my first time! Everything was just as awesome as the first. “I swear I have already reviewed this a couple times but Google keeps giving it to me as a new review so here we go.
I started coming to this restaurant years ago when I was coming there with my girlfriend on Tuesday nights.
Food and service was excellent then and they always provided a great atmosphere.
Over the years they've updated and made things better and better and the only complaint is that they no longer carry my favorite beer which is Molson Ice. I don't come there often because I've moved out of state so that's probably why. The one person drinking it left.
So every time I'm back in town I make sure to go here at least once.“
