“If I could give this place 10 stars I would, it's that good! And old fashioned place that has gotten the Martha Stewart seal of approval and mine now. If your looking for the original old style hotdog and fries with an iced cold coke then this is your place. You can choose a plain dog or have onions, mustard, chill and even a gluten free bun if you are gluten intolerant (I had it and its fantastic) We happily went back 2 times because we loved it that much. The owner is a great guy, funny and talks away to everyone. Can't wait to go back on our next trip to Connecticut.“

“Great addition to Fairfield! It's nice to have something more local so you don't have to stick to same old Shake Shack. We had the turkey burger and loaded French fries and dat outside on one of their picnic benches. Their special sauce is very good and what makes it everything. Looking forward to picking up from again soon. Small inside and gets crowded on weekends full of people waiting to pick up.“

“If you are hungry and you’re in the Strafford area come on down to the Windsock the food is delicious. The staff is friendly as hell and you could catch a race or any type of game on the TVs inside also there outside dining is wonderful. You are right by the airport so you can see planes landing and taking off. It’s a really cool place.“

“Can't tell you how much I've missed this place, since not being I'm the area. Glad to be back around. Everything is ala carte, but the food is consistently delicious! Customer service is also good, just remember to bring cash. They do have an ATM just in case. There's also a few benches outside, covered by the shade of large umbrellas and the parking lot is a decent size. Not sure what I'm gonna try next time so feel free to comment with your suggestions!“

“Spent seven hours at the baseball fields on father's day and couldn't have been happier to have an hour to grab lunch with my boys. Ordered like ten items a bunch of drinks and it was 50$. Fish and chips looked great, kid said it was awesome. Fried zucchini always my favorite. Wife got a side of fried shrimp. Its just perfect every time. It is what it is. An honest fresh cooked meal quick for cheap. Thank u to the people who work there yall the mvps..super busy and they crushed it. Its a better burger than 5 guys fight me.

“My friends and I have been talking about trying out Heffer since they first opened, and tonight we finally found the opportunity. From the second we walked in, we knew it was the right place. The songs playing immediately put us in a good mood, and that only continued as our service proved to be amazing. Our food was cooked to perfection, and had us yearning for the next time we could come. Upon hearing it was our first time here, we were given two free desserts. In fact, the person who served us even went so far as to open my soda for me, showing extremely caring and genuine care for his customers. “During a search for breakfast in Bridgeport, Ct Don Roque Garage populated so we decided to stop in and I am glad we did! If you are familiar with Trumbull Cafe then you will love this place too! We ordered a few things to the table for breakfast such as a blueberry waffle, french toast, some coffee , tea , sausage, eggs, and two Tijuana bowls. ALL OF IT WAS DELICIOUS ! Service was great as well! Great experience , food was super fresh and delightful. Do well!!! I will be returning when in town.“

Employee morale is sort of robotic and there are a couple who want nothing to do with customer interaction of any sort.
I'm leaving a tough review because I'm finding it tough to justify paying $14 for a hamburger and an additional $6 for fries that are now always cooked inconsistently...and what I recently witnessed.“
