Cricket Car Hop is a one-stop destination for classic American comfort foods. The stars of the show are of course the hot dogs, but don't sleep on their sandwiches, salads, and desserts. The cheesesteak is ridiculously good, and so are the burgers. If getting a dog, definitely get one with their chili on top, which tastes a little more like a bolognese or a Cincinnati-style chili.

“South of town locale on South main Street (state route 25), the main north/south route through the Botsford section of town, this is on the Monroe side of Newtown. Gets busy on weekends and sometimes you may have to wait awhile for your fries. The food is good the fries are great.“

Customer service is also good, just remember to bring cash. They do have an ATM just in case. There's also a few benches outside, covered by the shade of large umbrellas and the parking lot is a decent size. We go there at least once a week and my kids love it as well! They also have gluten free options which is amazing so my son can still enjoy a grilled cheese!“

“Date night and we wanted to be in Westport, so I picked Little Barn. We’ve been there before and I always get the ahi Buddha bowl. I switched it up and got the shroom burger instead with sweet potato fries. Enjoyed! We started with soup (I got the corn chowder-it was ok) and my husband got the French Onion soup, which I sampled and agreed it was good (not salty or watered down). Husband liked his cobb salad! Great night to sit outdoors as well. We’ll be back.

“We were in town for a dance competition and my son wanted something more than the hotdogs and pizza they were selling at the theatre. He’s a huge fan of fried chicken and I like a cheesesteak so we walked the few blocks to check this place out. Pari was a sweetheart and very accommodating of my son’s preference of all drumsticks. The fries were crisp, food was cooked fresh, and the prices are decent. The only drawback was the vagrant who kept coming in panhandling but watching him that would have been a problem anywhere we went as we saw him visit every other establishment in the area as well.“
