Our family’s go-to ramen and kimbap stop. We were so happy to see any sort of Korean food option in North Haven. This store is a cozy, seriously adorable operation if you want to dine in, and the food is delicious either way. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Donburiya Cafe is a restaurant that offers a variety of delicious Asian-inspired dishes in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The menu includes popular items like pork tanktsu ramen, spicy miso ramen, chicken katsu don, beef bowl, shrimp tempura kimbap, veggie dumplings, and rice cakes. Many guests praise the food for being flavorful, satisfying, and reasonably priced, especially during lunch specials with good proportions. The fried dumplings and bubble tea are also highly recommended. Customers appreciate the nice staff and the clean environment. The restaurant is known as a hidden gem and is praised for its ability to accommodate dietary restrictions and substitutions.
However, some reviews mention issues with the atmosphere, such as walls covered in AI-generated art, which some found distracting. Desserts like cheesecake received mixed reviews, with some finding the presentation and texture disappointing. The service is generally quick and efficient, with pickup orders often ready hot and fast. Overall, Donburiya Cafe is recognized for its tasty food, friendly service, and good value, making it a recommended spot for those seeking flavorful Asian cuisine in a cozy setting.
