My daughter worked here at this Korean deli. She is black. They have been treating her like a slave, harassing her, fraudulently paying her by taking taxes out but not reporting them to any state agencies as required, belittling her, etc. Today, she walked out and quit because Sophie and Richard, both owners, told her she was not allowed to sit down for 10 minutes while she ate her lunch although she was still working answering phones while having lunch. Richard's Corner Gourmet Deli & Catering is a great place with great signature sandwiches, some named after streets of the glen. The food is ALWAYS fresh and quality, with realistic prices. Favorites are the Texas Meatloaf, the Milbrook, the bibimbap on the weekends, the bulgogi sandwich, the bulgogki wrap, wills panini, the Santa Fe, the Tiff, and the Putnam. The bibimbap was lovely, especially the shiitake mushrooms and the rice. The sandwiches are consistently good and made to order. The fridge has a great selection of beverages, and the parking lot is easy in and out for a quick stop. The owners are wonderful, very hospitable, friendly, and great with kids. Service is friendly and quick, even during busy hours.
