“This place is the best restaurant outside of Naples Italy. My wife and I have been to Naples many times and Zenelli’d reminds us so much of the restaurants in Naples.”
“You must eat here! One of the great meals of all time. The food is spectacular and the service is just as good.”
“I came from Virginia to visit my sister and kept hearing about it and wanted to try it. The Fresh Tomatoes Pizza was excellent! The staff was very friendly. Loved it!!”
“The food is exceptional…creative and delicious. Great drinks as well. Awesome place.”
“@shellandbonesoysterbarandgrill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful birthday party with my beloved wife. Her request this time was seafood, and I indulged her with this excellent decision. I highly recommend it. Especially the BOUILLABAISE 49 Scallops + Mussels + Manila Clams + Rock Shrimp + Black Bass in their red sauce was delicious! The salmon and the kids' meal were good, even though it was a Monday, the place and the bar had a great atmosphere. Food: BOUILLABAISE $49 Scallops + Mussels + Manila Clams + Rock Shrimp + Black Bass (It was delicious, my darling) SALMON WITH PEPITA COVER $40* Spiced Pumpkin Puree + Broccoli Rabe + Tomatillo Green Sauce DRINKS: Mojitos Margaritas We're almost there; An excellent place, we loved it so much that we made a reservation through Opentable, which never fails. I recommend going to Bajada del Sol. I highly recommend it. Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill”

“We didn't even know it was a jewish/kosher place when we stopped in, until we saw some of the other customers. We weren't sure it was the place for us but left happy. The 2 of us shared our plates: The burger was very good & much fresher than a lot of other places. The hot & sweet chicken sandwich w/ candied jalapenos was excellent. The french fries could maybe have used a little more salt but that's just my preference; they were nicely crispy on the outside & I really liked the garlic mayo that came w/ them (Husband stuck with the ketchup). The service was prompt & friendly. No complaints about that at all. Restaurant prices are all crazy high nowadays. So I'd have to say their prices were reasonable for high-end sandwiches. It's a nice, homey p[lace. I'd recommend it even if you're not a jew.”
“I had to review on Facebook because I already posted a Google review. I am obsessed with this place and the staff and the food. I came two nights in a row for my birthday (one night with family and the other night with friends). My waitresses were Mia and Jade. They were sensational!!! Mia was amazing and remembered I ordered the chocolate dipped strawberries for the next evening and made sure to have them prepared and ready to go. Jade went above and beyond for my birthday bringing me beautifully decorated plates. They made my birthday weekend so special!! I miss the Darien location in the sense that it wasn’t this easily accessible haha. They will get tired of seeing my face (especially at happy hour!)”
“Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit today, the food was delicious and the service EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you for offering the GLUTEN-FREE injera and all of the creative vegetarian dishes... we loved the fresh and flavorful salads (Key Sir Selata and the Timatim Fitfit), then had the best Ater Kik and Tikel Gomen I have ever had in my life! We will definitely return, and highly recommend to anyone in search of authentic Ethiopian cuisine!”

“I went to eat with my wife to celebrate our expansion of our business and anniversary. The food was very lovely and there was no wait. Marissa was very attentive and amazing. we got given wine from the floor manager, but then we were told that there was no floor manager; so it seemed like there was some power seeking workers. Other than that confusion everything was amazing. The bartender perfected our drinks and the chef coursed our dinner out exceptionally. Will be returning, hopefully not to be bombarded by the non existent floor manager.”
“Very welcoming staff and amazing customer service.I stopped here during a road trip and honestly the burgers were better than many spots I’ve tried in New York. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was friendly and the cashier make us feel at home. Definitely worth the stop if you’re passing through — I’ll be coming back next time I’m in the area.”
“Stopped into Brick Oven as a suggestion from my high school buddy who lives in New Haven. Will be a place I frequent going forward in my travels to New Haven. The pizza was great but the customer service was even greater.. The owner actually took the time to converse with us and to have good pizza and good customer service puts this spot high on my list of places to go period. Da prez”

“This is the tenth person I put on to this place. He was sooooo in love with the margarita pizza. Usually I get the shrimp pesto (my favorite) but I didn’t want to scare him. You would’ve thought he was going crazy while eating. Thank for the many years I’ve came it turned out perfect :)”
“I had an amazing opportunity to cater a wedding of two great friends at The Brewery. I don't have enough great things to say about the place. The building and its grounds are amazing, the brewery its self is gorgeous. Attention to detail is above par in all aspects. The Brewery room and tap room one of the best i've seen. The upstairs in sophisticated and approachable. The husband and wife owners are wonderful and they way they attend to their guests and bar none. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed and their beer is AWESOME”

“Always perfect. Homemade papardelle. Deep red rich marinara. Trish Consiglio keeping a watchful eye. The kitchen, the staff, the patio... New Hay at its very, very best. If your home was magic, you're home when you're at Consiglio's.”

“Locals rave about this restaurant and for good reason - the sashimi is succulent and fresh, Japanese delicacies such as uni are surprisingly well chosen and the sake flights of course are outstanding. Only quibble is it really does feel like an aged, not well kept Western bar inside”

“We celebrated my daughter’s graduating from the University of New Haven here, and everything was wonderful! There were nine of us, and the staff handled our group perfectly. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the service was truly top-notch. They made it feel special from start to finish. Highly recommend!”
“Most places serving ramen are playing dress-up—neon signs, loud playlists, menus bloated with bullshit designed to photograph well and taste like nothing. The Loop by Hachiroku doesn’t have time for that.
This place cooks like it has something to prove—and backs it up. The broth comes out swinging: deep, aggressive, built with patience and a refusal to cut corners. It clings to the noodles the way it should, coating every bite with real flavor, not that watered-down, tourist-friendly nonsense you get in half the spots calling themselves “ramen bars.”
And the noodles? They’ve got backbone. Bite. Resistance. The kind of texture that tells you someone in that kitchen actually gives a damn—maybe even loses sleep over it. Every element feels earned, not assembled.
There’s no safety net here. No pandering. No soft edges to make it “accessible.” It’s focused, a little brutal, and completely unapologetic.
Frankly, New Haven has no business being this good at ramen—but here it is, quietly embarrassing places in bigger cities that should know better.
Eat here before it gets ruined by hype. Or don’t. More for the rest of us.”
“I dined at Rawa one time but I recomme the lamb chops, pita, spicy chicken wings, chicken breast on a bed of lentils.”
“We love coming here for dinner when visiting our son at college. Excellent service and everything is delicious. Definitely our favorite place.”

“I’ve lived in CT for 50 yrs and this was my first visit to Toads Place. Awesome venue for a show. Small enough to feel intimate but big enough to offer space. Sound system was great and the acts are top notch. Enjoyed the event so much, made me feel like I was 18 again.”
“It was pretty smooth running in a tough location. The food was hot and tasty, but, at this time, there were 5 loud and a bit rowdy teenagers, the staff walked by them several times, and said nothing, perhaps this was a decent strategy, as, it didn't give them the attention that they were definitely looking for, and it didn't escalate further. Their energy depleted, they left quietly... It was a good reminder of how loud and rowdy we were as kids ;) No real harm and no foul. The staff were very pleasant, but, I could tell, a bit tired. This was after the dinner rush at around 8 p.m., on a Friday.”
“Great atmosphere. Food is worth it—not vegan? Still delish. Try it—you’ll see!”

“We had a fantastic meal at Caffe Bravo! We ordered the arancini and buratta for appetizers. The arancini reminded me of what you get from an authentic, local Napolitan eatery in Italy. The buratta was creamy and super fresh. For dinner we had freshly made gnocchi , the linguine and vongole, and the grigliata di mare. The gnocchi were like fluffy pillows that were made moments before getting to our table. The homemade linguine was perfectly cooked with plenty of clams. And the seafood was grilled to perfection with a tasty farro rice as a side. And then for dessert we had the homemade tiramisu and chocolate lava cake that put us over the edge. Can’t wait to go back and bring friends so they can experience for themselves. 💯 🇮🇹 #caffebravo #forzanapoli”
“My husband surprised me with a Princess cake. I mentioned I’d love to try one after seeing it in a baking show. He searched online and Marjolaine’s was the only place he could find. He drove over an hour to pick it up and it was well worth the drive! We just picked up a Dacquoise. This one was a request from our daughter. We tried a smaller version that was in the case. It was absolutely delicious! So light and airy and the flavor was divine! We are driving this cake all the way to NC and are 100% certain that our daughter will be thrilled ! We are heading back in the beginning of April for a Marjolaine for our daughter in law. It is well worth the trip!!!”

“We've been to Menya multiple times, and the food has always been good. I'd give it a 4/5, it's not the best ramen I've had, but it's definitely enjoyable.
Today's visit was a little disappointing. We arrived about three minutes before opening without realizing the time. Since the door was already open, we walked in and were simply told they weren't open yet. That's completely understandable, but it would have been nice if they had offered us a seat by the waiting area instead of sending us back out.
A lot of places serve good food these days. What keeps me coming back is how I'm treated as a customer. Sometimes it's the small gestures that leave the biggest impression, and unfortunately, this visit made us realize we'd rather support a place where the overall experience feels more welcoming.”
“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality. Sally’s Apizza @ Fairfield deserves a 5 star rating for making our event the success it was. Thanks so much”

“We just used Est Pizza for my daughters graduation party. They did a fantastic job. All the workers were very pleasant, the pizza was delicious. Great amount of variety! The frozen yogurt was the best frozen I ever had. I highly recommend using Est Pizza for you next event.”
“I came in for the first time not sure what to expect, I didn't bring much with me and unfortunately this time I didn't leave a tip because of that. Had I known the quality was this good I would have definitely made sure to bring extra. The price is a little hi but you are honestly getting a great meal and portion”
“NVM7 Brand is definitely one of a kind. I love it, everything is soft and stretchy. And it fits me so so well. I would recommend her to anyone, she is very professional and has sizes for everyone as well. You won’t be let down, you will be more than happy with your purchase.”
“Dangle's is a black-owned business in well established downtown. The restaurant is nice and quaint giving you the feels of being connected to the owner and staff. The food was delicious - delivered hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It behooves anyone reading this to try this place out. You won't be disappointed.”
“During lunch break from having to serve jury duty I found this coffee shop down the street and decided to pop in. The two behind the counter were very friendly and inviting, and the special grilled cheese with tomato or bacon with soup was PERFECT . the chicken corn chowder came out piping hot and didn't even need any salt or pepper. I'm usually skeptical when someone has to make my coffee instead of me doing it, but unlike dunkin donuts the gentleman made it just right! they seem to have a familiar and friendly customer fan base, and I would definitely go back again.”
“The food was amazing, and the spice of the food was potent and flavorful! It was fantastic!”
“just ordered take out for diner. service is great, portion size is amazing. I got the pork bone soup. 10/10 would get again. it’s nice to have authentic Korean food in the area”
“Very intimate setting. The wait staff were very friendly. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and the manager came over to congratulate us as well as give us a complimentary toast.”
“The food was amazing! Very impressed. Love the vibes.. very cool spot and reasonably priced.”

“My children gave me a 85th Birthday Party at Brazi's and I cannot say enough about this wonderful Restaurant. The food, and the service that was given to me and my guests was exceptional. A day of a Happy Remembrance.”
“First time there. Wanted to try a different place than our usual couple of places. Very interesting menu with a huge variety, we had to bring home 3 different pies to try, and they were great! Can’t wait to go back and try more. 🍕❤️”

“Had a wonderful experience all around. Our server was thoughtful, delightful, and professional. Our food was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. Just a great meal all around.”
“Four us went last night and it was phenomenal. Brenda took her time to explain the menu and all of our options. They were also able to accommodate us wimps that didn’t want super spicy dishes.”
“Hands down the best Sushi I’ve EVER had in 40+ years. Can’t wait to go back. 👌”
“Happy hour drafts, drinks and appetizers can't be beat! Tacos pastor...crazy good. I ordered a sangria and the glass was only 3/4 full. I understand that's an appropriate serving for wine but not sangria. Otherwise it was great!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely worth the stop at LA CHICKY MUNCHY at the Food Truck Paradise in New Haven! The owners were super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in not only their food but also their truck—it was spotless. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I had the shrimp in garlic sauce with tostones—so good! And the lobster empanada? Stuffed, crispy, and fried fresh absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try more!”
“This is the best (if not only) place in the New Haven, CT area to get authentic Levantine food, including / especially toum. Eating here brings me back to past vacations in Lebanon and the incredible food and company I enjoyed there; for those that prefer other cuisines, this place has you covered as well! Pizza, pasta, the full gamut of Mediterranean food!”
“Always good bands playing on the weekends, really nice bartenders and everyone that goes.”
“Stopped in for the first time June 16th, and again today on the 17th because it was such a good experience! The drinks were perfect, the food was great too! I tried the Spicy Miso Ramen, the Spicy dumplings, and the spicy boneless chicken and everything was "bussin". If you're ever in the city, I recommend trying this place out! *pork belly not shown in image cuz I ate it before taking the picture 🤤🥲”
“Want Excellent and authentic Food , Go To Taqueria Oyameles‼️‼️ Brrrrr los duros 🔥”
“This was my first time coming here and I absolutely loved it!
Staff was attentive and wait times for food and drink were short. Extensive tap selection, solid mixed drinks, and the food I had was delicious.
Fantastic selection of both retro and some more modern games, a smaller space than I expected, but that wasn't at all an issue, if anything it made it feel cozier and more like a classic arcade of the past.
Absolutely coming back!”
“Best Jamaican food I’ve had yet! Great staff who love what they do and put pride in what they serve. Anyone who wants to try some great, authentic Jamaican food and have some good vibes, this is the place to come! 😁”
“I visited blue tortuga on a Monday evening for a friends birthday. The chicharrón with guacamole was great, the main dish was out of this world. The French toast dessert was amazing. The service was great, highly recommend.”
“Had a great meal, the crab cakes were delicious! Love the ambiance! Waitress was fantastic with great service. For such an elegant charming restaurant, was disappointed the hostess was dressed in leggings and crop top …. took away from our first impressions unfortunately.”
“Tuvimos la visita de mi hermano en Ohio y decidimos ir de paseo a New Haven para visitar a una gran Cheff peruano, la comida peruana de primera, atención muy buena, platos variados quedamos encantados el sabor exquisito nada que extrañar a 🇵🇪 Perú, muchas gracias Don Raúl Vásquez y esposa , quedamos visitarles de nuevo un fuerte abrazo”
“Great sushi, and the dinner plates are creative and delicious. My favorite Kosher sushi in CT, and better than most places in NYC and Long Island… Easily the best by price.”
“Delicious food 👌 Chicken Shish is so goooood, just melted in the mouth. Had an amazing experience dining in outdoors. Murat, the chef/owner is a very approachable person. He even offered espresso and latte on the house. I’d go here as often as possible.”
“Hands down absolutely fanatic meal! Authentic Southern Flare at its BEST!! Kudos to Chef Joe!!We will be back again!”
“I’m a late-comer to original Frank Pepe’s due to distance. Oh, what I have been missing! You do need to be strategic about timing because it’s very popular — because it’s exceptionally good. Fairly easy access from I-95.”
“The spicy Thai peanut wings are worth the trip alone, but there's so much more to love about this place! Now if I could only marry my love of karaoke with the food, drink, and atmosphere here. I highly recommend a stop here. The food is amazing, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is just what the doctor ordered. ❤️”
“The food and service were excellent! However, the plastic lids and coated paper boxes the food is served in does not work for me because it’s environmentally unsustainable. The amount of single-use plastics we go through for convenience is doing serious harm to the health of our planet and life on it. I think the food service industry (and customers) can do a lot to change that.
I would also love to see some wild caught fish that is certified sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)!
I had a few questions about this and the chef was very kind to stop and answer them! The sushi was delicious— thank you!”
“It's Sunday and every once in a while... more often than not, we brunch! Lol. We heard about the bottomless mimosa brunch here at Cast Iron Chef Chop House & Oyster Bar so we pulled up to check it out! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the busy State Street is this gem. There's no private parking, but plenty of comfortable, spacious street parking right out front. Once inside you're immersed in a very fine-dining, elegant, laid-back atmosphere. Lots of woods, intimate-low lighting and upbeat music. I loved the vibes in here. The first room is your bar room where the rail is off to the left, but with plenty of seating to the right. If you continue through the room you enter the main dining room where it's all booths and other tables. Service: Stacey was our server. Things got off to a bit of a rocky start, but they smoothed out throughout the brunch. Food/Drinks: The mimosa was okay... It was REALLY strong because there's orange vodka and orange liqueur in it. It kinda killed the flavor for me because I'd prefer a traditional mimosa with minimal juice, but... no matter. They're bottomless... or supposed to be... Just be mindful of who your server is. Brunch can consist of a prix-fixed menu, which is what we did so we'll be going through that. First up were the Homemade Sausage Gravy and biscuits. These were super smothered and fantastic. Hot, savory, meaty, salty and even had a bit of a subtle sweetness. The biscuit was soft, butter and had crispy edges. Next up were the Cinnamon Rolls. These were HUGE. Lol. Like, how are we supposed to eat AND drink all of this stuff?! The exterior of the roll was crispy and the inside very soft. Not over-the-top sweetness or anything. These were very balanced. Next up were the Bananas Foster Pancakes. But this thing was enormous. It was so thick, like literally an inch thick. Lol. Fresh bananas sliced right on top, it cut like butter, was soft with the perfect crispy edges and these were AMAZING. Punch of sweetness up front, fluffy texture and just a great pancake. For dinner, this restaurant usually serves Cast Iron Popcorn instead of bread, so Stacey let us try it! It was smokey, a little-little sweet with a little bit of salt and maybe a hickory barbecue flavor. I liked it. Lastly, I chose the Steak & Eggs over Salmon & Eggs, but got to try both since my wife was with me. Each comes with gigantic fried potatoes, 3 eggs, a piece of toast, caramelized onions and your protein of choice. My steak was cooked perfectly (medium-rare). The flavors were excellent. It was a little fatty and just was done very well. Value: $64.96 for bottomless mimosas and the prix-fixe menu. Probably the best value brunch in the state. SO MUCH FOOD and strong drinks. I don't know what else you'd want! In conclusion, I really enjoyed myself here and have revisited since my first time! Everything was just as awesome as the first. Check this place out if you're in the area!”
“Frozen margarita and street corn were awesome! Service was also fantastic!”
“I give Villa Lulu a solid 4, bordering on 5, but I'm so fussy, it's probably a 5. I save 5's for something so amazing I just can't describe it. After a brief snafu with who our waiter was, the staff was super accomodating with everything. They kept their promise to get us to the show on time. So, service ended up a 5 but started as a 2 or 3. Food, we had a variety of salads and appetizers, two main courses for 4 of us. All were very good., to excellent Atmosphere, 4, and I only detract because we had to walk up a steep flight of stairs to the dining room, so if you are physically unable to make the stairs, your options will be limited. There is al fresco dining but it was too cold. I am sincerely looking forward to returning and trying more options at a more leisurely pace because it's the type of place where you can actually carry on a conversation without the clatter of dishes and the intrusion of others' conversations. It's very warm and cozy and would be good for a romantic dinner. Reminds me of "The Big Night" kind of vibe.”
“Amazing authentic Italian food; cozy & classy ambiance, private back room for parties & outdoor seating.”
“This is my first time trying Columbian food and I am hooked!!!!! The AL Pastor Columbian style Arepas is by far one of the most delicious things I have had in a long time. The cornbread base was sweet without being cloying and mixed with the pork and pineapple, OH MY GOD! My dish came with a side of some of the most flavorful rice I have ever had and it was topped with some sweet plantains. The serving is more than generous. I'm a big girl and I am easily getting 2 meals out of my order. The prices are very reasonable! Do yourself a favor and find this hidden gem while you are in town. You will not be disappointed!”
“Food was delicious! Atmosphere great! My fried shrimp was nice and juicy with a sauce that had a spicy kick to it. My family loved their chicken wings and sliders. We ate good! The cocktails were on point as well. Definitely a nice place to unwind.”
“The experience here was phenomenal, and this is my first time at Vietnamese restaurant. My group enjoyed the ambience and the food we ordered. Our waitress was polite, proffesional, and offered insights what we were ordering. All our food options, including the drinks, were exceptional and delicious. Highly recommend it, and I will definitely come back again.”
“We love the staff and the late night menu is a plus. The wings are crispy, and delicious . We love Holly, Jay, Chris, plus the Michele’s are the best and keep us coming back. A true Gem of Westville”
“A great family place with amazing fresh seafood. Super friendly. Best pupusas I’ve had and amazing shrimp cocktail. Spanish speaking establishment in the best way.”
“Top notch food and cocktails in a relaxed environment with reasonable prices.”
“Amazing people, delicious food, and a fantastic atmosphere in a safe location—plus, the fresh margaritas and tableside guacamole are my favorites! Special thanks to Michael, Patrick, Tony, Katie, Steve and many more for their exceptional service! PS I can't find ANY margaritas like Geronimo in California, so stop what you're doing don't look any further, you've found the BEST spot to go!”
“Fantastic experience .The staff were friendly and attentive, and the owners were so welcoming. Great atmosphere , great food and service , I will definitely be coming back”
“Great food. This is authentic Puertorican food I will definitely comeback.”
“100% recommend! Food is amazing but the people are so polite and accommodating. Every chance I get I will go here love that its an option in small town North Manchester.”
“This was really, really good. I got the sweet basil chicken, fried rice, and steamed broccoli. The portions were generous, and it was absolutely affordable and worth the price. Tasted so good I went back to let them know. Such sweet people too. 100% recommend.”
“So this amazing place was recommended by a friend from Madison and it did not disappoint! Authentic Szechuan in a beautiful room with high ceilings and soothing decor and music. One dish was better than the last and you cannot get this quality anywhere locally as far as I've been to. Go for yourselves and enjoy. Somehow we received cheesecake and chocolate ganache cake for dessert complements of the place! Even better!😂”
“The best cemitas in town ! Come and try taquería juancho guacamoles the same owners”
“Came here on a quiet weeknight and was amazed by the authentic Italian cuisine. Started off with a wonderful Burrata then I had the Rigatoni Bolgenese with was really good. We also bought a loaf of the Italian Bread to bring home. That bread with some Cabot butter and you are on to something!! Would visit again.”
“Great food choices on the menu for me. Really enjoyed my Valentines Day with my friends and great food. Thanks to the restaurant, Mgr. Ms. D. Soto and the rest of the staff. You made it complete. ⚘️⚘️⚘️⚘️”
“Yesterday, they were at ShopRite in Clinton. I’m so glad they were as it was truly the best Italian sausage I’ve ever had! Top notch ingredients and no corn syrup or preservatives like the others. The best!”
“We had oysters on half shells for antipasto and a lobster fettuccine and a branzino (which came with sauteed spinach and purple potatoes) for main courses, then finished with a berries cheesecake.\n\nNow the oysters were so good that we ordered another four. Then my husband had a bite of the fettuccine and told me, it's so good he felt like flying with wings. Which made me wonder what he meant, so I had a bite. The parsley worked magically with the lobster, and the fettuccine was done perfectly. And the lobster was succulent and sweet.\n\nNow back to my branzino. I actually never liked branzino the fish, mainly for its boring texture and taste. I ordered it just because I felt adventurous today, really. But this one surprised me. The crushed pistachios somehow worked wonders with the branzino, hah! And the sauteed spinach, as well as the grilled purple potatoes, were mind blowing. I will go back, if not for the lobster fettuccine, only for the spinach and the purple potatoes.\n\nOh, and we had a side of sauteed broccoli rabe which was no less miraculous than the spinach and purple potatoes. We agreed that this is a restaurant we'll visit again soon.\n\nThe dessert was a neat finish to the fulfilling meal. This was a happy, rainy evening.\n\nOh and we loved Francesco. We had servers who would constantly make remarks or gestures that left guests feeling bothered and uneasy, but Francesco was just right. He's so cordial and effective, always there when we thought to look up but never intrusive or inhospitable for the sake of being hospitable. I guess he's also part of the reason we felt so comfortable dining there.”
“Olsen is one of the best bartenders we have ever had! This is our second trip to New Haven, and we decided to stay at the Omni Hotel this trip because of our experience at Bar 19 on our first trip. Whatever you are paying him, double it!!”
“Wow, best pizza I have eaten in a long time. Delivery guy was super nice, guy on phone also super nice. They delivered to our hotel, no problem. Our Pizza Haven special was delicious”
“Great atmosphere, great wait staff and fantastic food. The portions are large too!”

“It is too bad these comments about customer service are so offensive. Pizza and other menu items are outstanding. I really hope these comments will not affect their business because this restaurant has been in business for 75 years with only family owners and their entire menu, what ever you decide getting is wonderful. Hopefully the owner will put a stop to this problem. Call him and ask to speak to the owner”
“We recently attended a New Haven high school reunion at Lost In New Haven Museum. The Olde World Pizza Truck was hired to serve 70 people. The food and service was excellent. Everybody in attendance commented how good the experience was. The staff was friendly and professional, serving different pies on a timely basis. The salad and Gelato was a nice added touch. There was plenty of extra pizza for the people to take home. All trash was cleared, no extra work. I highly recommend this company.”
“This restaurant was well worth the hour drive to get there. They served the best potato salad I have ever had - & trust me I have tried hundreds of them in my long life. The vegetable dinner option I enjoyed today was perfect. I highly recommend the cabbage, black eye peas, and Caribbean rice along with the amazing potato salad. And I must add that the moist, scrumptious, and famous corn bread couldn’t have been better. Sandra’s is a place I will return to. I’m a vegetarian newbie who’s grateful for the nutritious, delicious food and the sweet and friendly service at this gem of a place.”
“The sandwich was absolutely delicious! I chose the medium spicy chicken and it was just right for me.....spicy and yummy. Braver souls can choose spicier options. The cole slaw was a perfect match for the sandwich too, a touch of spicy too! Highly recommend tjis restaurant. Best meal I've had in town.”
“Love the atmosphere and location on the River. 2nd weekend went for brunch. Still no Lobster Benedict, last week got the breakfast pizza, it was outstanding. Got breakfast sliders today, a little disappointing. Karaoke Wednesdays are fun, they tolerated my awful singing.(Maybe that's why the sliders weren't good lol). Going back next Saturday for one more try.”

“Simply put, the food, staff and restaurant are nothing short of amazing. My husband and I hosted an event this past weekend (~100 guests) and it was a literal dream! THE FOOD! I was a little nervous when we settled on a buffet-style for the main entree but that worry was immediately thrown out the window when the first person up said, wait when can I get seconds?! EVERYONE has commented on how much they loved the food. Many of our guest list is from out of town, but are petitioning that a open a location opens in Northern New Jersey The staff was just amazing during the event; almost every single person I have spoken to since Saturday has brought up an interaction where 'the staff clearly cares' ::insert story of staff member just actually giving a heck about a situation:: from a question answered, to a compliment given, and everything in between, the people who worked the event were rockstars. Brittney, their catering & event manager, is worth a million dollars; she cares, she's passionate, she is kind, attentive (she definitely works 24/7 as she emailed/ texted back no matter the day or time), & is just all around an amazing person. I will never not include her and working with her in my memory of our Reception. She and Deon will not steer you wrong in making selections that will work and will be memorable. All-in-all, if you are looking to host your event in a place where people take pride in their work, are dedicated to the customer and the food is real, feel it in your soul food, then Olives and Oil is your place!!”

“Efficient service & friendly people behind the counter. The drinks are standard and consistent as for all Kung Fu Tea locations, but the extra warm and friendly atmosphere differentiates this from all the rest. Love that you can order from a tablet on days with a long line for the register. 5/5”
“This place is so cute and cozy. I went for one of my friends' performance as a music artist, and it made me wish i lived closer to it. It's about an hour away from where I live, so I can't go often, but I'll definitely drop by any time I'm in the area. They have chalkboard walls full of drawings and writing from locals, lots of cozy seating, and an atmosphere made for talking with people.”
“Today was my first time trying Shah Food, and I ended up going back twice in the same day. I tried the chicken burger first, and within two hours I was back for the hot wings. Their spicy sauce is really good. I grew up eating spicy food, so I can handle heat, and theirs has flavor and a kick.
The chicken and meat taste very fresh, not rubbery at all, and the bun on the burger was crispy in the best way. I’m already looking forward to trying the gyro next. Exam week has me hungry, and Shah Food is definitely becoming my go-to comfort spot.
Staff is very nice. Their shop is clean as well.
Highly recommend!”
“Stopped in after driving back to Rhode Island from Pittsburgh, the owner Chris was over accommodating to me & my family. Not to mention the pizza was delicious. The marketplace it is located in has a cool, relaxing vibe. Convenient location off of the highway with parking close by. Definitely check them out if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed 😎”
“My favorite spot to be with family or have solo dates. Love love love the matchas and the sweets! Staff are so helpful and sweet, whenever I don’t know what to order they help guide on their favorite drinks or small things that you wouldn’t think to add. My current recommendation is the guava and cheese matcha. Love ERO🫶”
