“Everyone here is so kind. I stopped in today on a busy Saturday, I was struggling a bit with my baby nephew. 2 staff immediately noticed and started playing with and talking to him while I got myself together. Another staff member saw how overwhelmed I was and brought over some ice water and kept checking in on us. Even though they were slammed, they took the time to focus on and help us and I appreciate it tremendously. Thank you!“

“I had an amazing opportunity to cater a wedding of two great friends at The Brewery. I don't have enough great things to say about the place. The building and its grounds are amazing, the brewery its self is gorgeous. Attention to detail is above par in all aspects. The Brewery room and tap room one of the best i've seen. The upstairs in sophisticated and approachable. The husband and wife owners are wonderful and they way they attend to their guests and bar none. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed and their beer is AWESOME“

“I had to review on Facebook because I already posted a Google review. I am obsessed with this place and the staff and the food. I came two nights in a row for my birthday (one night with family and the other night with friends). My waitresses were Mia and Jade. They were sensational!!! Mia was amazing and remembered I ordered the chocolate dipped strawberries for the next evening and made sure to have them prepared and ready to go. Jade went above and beyond for my birthday bringing me beautifully decorated plates. They made my birthday weekend so special!! I miss the Darien location in the sense that it wasn’t this easily accessible haha. They will get tired of seeing my face (especially at happy hour!)“

The owners were super friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in not only their food but also their truck—it was spotless. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I had the shrimp in garlic sauce with tostones—so good! And the lobster empanada? Stuffed, crispy, and fried fresh absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try more!“

Although the wait for my food was a little long, I enjoyed the mackerel which was meaty and came with rice and miso soup. The matcha latte was decent too.“

“Randomly stopped here for my mom’s birthday dinner and so glad we did! We were seated immediately, got our drinks pronto and the server made sure to make my mom feel special on her birthday! We ordered the mushroom pasta (truffle butter is divine), the roasted duck and bolognese. Yummy all around. Service is amazing and definitely contributes the most to this 5 star rating! We didn’t check out the rooftop but I heard that’s nice too.“

“Their teas are so good and refreshing, you can order your tea custom how you like,they have machine that shakes the drink quite vigorously to mix it well.I tried the Thai milk tea with bubbles and passionfruit green tea with mango popping. Both were very good 👍“

“Amazing service at this location. When they changed their ordering platform, I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. After drinking it and noticing something was wrong, they came and talked with me, made sure I understood how to order correctly next time, brought me a sample of what I meant to order, and even replaced my drink. You just don’t get that type of service anymore, and with such friendliness. Love Whale Tea. Thanks!“

“Came here on a quiet weeknight and was amazed by the authentic Italian cuisine. Started off with a wonderful Burrata then I had the Rigatoni Bolgenese with was really good. We also bought a loaf of the Italian Bread to bring home. That bread with some Cabot butter and you are on to something!! Would visit again.“

Gave 2 star rating for the service because the woman serving food was not happy to serve us and somewhat rude. The way she put glass and food on the table seemed very rude like - bang bang lol. Or maybe its her way of working but we felt discomfort. Nothing personal but i hope you smile a little when you serve. Makes everyone’s day. Thanks.❤“

“Went there for my birthday on Saturday…. The atmosphere was very nice. Drinks really good. Music even better . Was having a good time until one of the bartenders told us to move in a rude way. No we have been dancing and coming back to the same spot at the bar so it was empty . Y ask us to move how abt the couple next to us. Or other people that have been standing there the same amount of time or longer. Not sure if I’ll go back which is really bad . 1 person can really ruin the way u see a place.“

One of the few places my family will take the time to patronize in the elm city for its quality and quaintness. Outside seating is peaceful as well as inside too with a nostalgic atmosphere. A hidden gem off the beaten path if you’re not from the neighborhood.“

The overall look of the restaurant could use small revamp but the Service and Friendly nature is perfect for someone like me who deals with anxiety/depression and certain social situations.
