LiLu's customized catering Bakery •

“Luisa is amazing! I had to plan and execute a wedding in only a month. She was able to accommodate me. From start to finish Luisa answered my many questions, took my vision for what I wanted for my wedding and made it happen. The cake was stunning visually and beyond delicious! The cake it’s own was moist and the fruit filling was fresh! I would highly recommend her and will definitely be using her services in the future. Thank you Luisa for helping to make my day a special one.“

The Sundae House Ice Cream Shop • $$
499 New Haven Ave, Milford

“It is probably due to my childhood love of summer and ice cream, but as soon as the weather gets warm, it's time to celebrate. The charming Sundae house in Milford ,Connecticut has a glorious list of tantalizing hard ice cream flavors as well as soft serve. The divine hot fudge is also among the best in this area. The location is easily accessible, and there is plenty of parking. The staff is very efficient at quickly, reducing the usual long line of customers. Theoretically, there is a flavor for every day of the summer. Check out the list in the pictures and enjoy!“

Milford Point Brewing Brewery • $$
230 Woodmont Rd #29b, Milford

“Milford Point Brewing is a craft brewery that opened in Milford, Connecticut in April 2018. It was founded by friends Chris Willett and Jerry Candido. The two are both Milford residents and originally met when both of their daughters played on the same softball team. Willett had been a fan of craft beer for some time and eventually started homebrewing. Candido had originally only drank macro brewery offerings like Bud Light, but soon converted to craft beer after trying Willett's homebrew. Willett began entering his beer into homebrew competitions and eventually beat out 40 other contestants at a contest in Stamford. Eventually Willett and Candido decided to join forces and open their own brick and mortar brewery: the first one to open in Milford which now has a growing craft beer scene. It is their mission to produce great-tasting quality beer for local beer drinkers. Most of their offerings are named after points of interest in Milford. I first visited Milford Point Brewing in March 2019. I devoted that day to trying out some new breweries in the area that I hadn't visited yet. Milford Point was my last stop of the day. They have a cozy taproom in a business park and most of the clientele seemed to be locals. I sat at the bar and ordered a flight of four which consisted of "06460" (Citra Session IPA), "Silver Sands" (IPA), "West Shore" (Double IPA), and "Settlers Stout" (Milk Stout). The Silver Sands IPA was my favorite of the flight and I purchased a four-pack of cans to take home. Milford Point makes a nice addition to the city's craft beer scene.“

“Friends and I went to the Greek Spot for dinner last week. The menu seemed more varied than other Greek restaurants - including some dishes fusing Greek and other cuisines. Two of us ordered the Vegetarian Moussaka - instead of meat there were roasted vegetables. We didn't know what to expect - and both of us loved it. It was good enough to me to be dessert. My only caveat is that this is not a place to find ambiance - but our meal was so good that that wouldn't deter us from returning in the future. The counter-person provided good service.“

“I've been a customer for over 10 years, and both their Italian, and Mexican food is excellent. The delivery workers, Chefs, and employees who take the orders on the phone are very kind, hard working, and talented. Just want to thank them, and give them the recognition they deserve. Having worked in the F&B industry for over 20 years in NYC, I appreciate a place like this on nights when I'm too lazy to cook.“

“Great food, enjoy lunch there. But the posted signs about becoming a cash-only establishment turned me off. Most places are going cash-less these days. I dont know many that carry cash, and paying ATM fee’s isnt going to cut it. I heard many asking when I was there. You may not have an issue with the regulars, but its a turn-off for new visitors.“
