“An amazing gem in Milford. This restaurant has the best fresh Thai food we have ever eaten. We have been there several times since their opening in March. The dining area is cozy and has neat architectural details. The staff are very friendly and take their time with you. If it is after rush hour you can sit and chat with them over a bottle of (byob) of wine.They will make anything to your specific needs such as vegan or gluten-free.Please pay them a visit!“

“I grew up in Connecticut so I've eaten at many great seafood places but the Lazy Lobster has the best lobster roll I've had in years with a very generous portion of lobster. The buttered baguettes are to die for and I will be going back to try the ribs. This is a small place, be prepared for a casual atmosphere or to take your food home but wherever you eat it, know you will thoroughly enjoy it!“

“15 minute wait at 11AM on a Sunday, a bit noisy with loud voices and plentiful laughter. Food arrived in less than 10 minutes after order was placed (on handwritten green guest checks). I had the African hash - great dish! My wife opted for the duck wrap which also received glowing accolades. My grand kids had a breakfast sandwich with toast and French toast with a side of bacon, all of which was completely devoured. Great Place!!“

“First time here based on a friend’s recommendation. Got the Mexican food. So authentic and absolutely delicious! Got three different tacos, enchiladas,burrito andrice and beans! “I've read through many of the reviews and 4.5 ***** got me in the door. Yes it is crowded, it's small. But after talking to some of the people waiting for tables and the manager, I knew why. And people are willing to wait to get a seat here. With anything this busy, I am sure mistakes can be made and times can be longer than expected. But according to the reviews, few and far between. They must do a huge take out business. The phone never stopped ringing and people picking up flowed in one after another.Had dinner last night next to a table of 8 that drove 1.5 hrs to get there because it was their sons birthday and that is where he wanted to have his dinner. I overheard them talking to the manager and when she asked if it was as good as they remembered and worth the wait, the response was "better".My dinner was as delicious as I expected, try the tortellini, and dessert was outstanding. Some other observations I had. The staff was friendly and smiling. The place was full and tables got filled as fast as they emptied. The female manager was visible at all times. Talking to customers, busing tables and delivering food. And my waitress was attentive and sweet.Go hungry! The portions are huge. But take home leftovers, you will want to leave room for dessert.I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because the lighting could be better and it could use a little face lift, but that definitely did not deter from a great meal.All in all, a good experience. We will definitely be going back. Maybe on a Tuesday or a Wednesday.“

“Scratch Baking really came through for me on a last minute Pi Day pie order for our engineering office! I probably should have called sooner than the day before but even still they were able to whip up 3 delicious pies for me to pick up the next day! The pies were delicious! I plan to call a little earlier next year since they were a hit!“

Side note, this place will always hold a special place in my heart because this was the place where my one-year-old daughter drank through a straw for the first time.Kid-friendliness: I asked what fruit they had available and the waitress named hard fruit that required a lot of chewing, like pineapple. She instantly picked up on my worries and offered to bring me strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. Easy fruit for my baby who just started solids.“

“Read reviews and came from out of state and wanted to try. Problem for us was definitely parking! Had to park across the street and go in have a drink and app so we could at least try and order from 7 Seas as a to go order. I know fried food to go isn't going to hold up well but it was good.“

We chose not to pay the extra money per person for bringing in our own dessert, so we ordered the cake through Gusto’s which was delicious! The cookies ordered by Guso’s were left by many of my guests on the table as they were stale. Being Italian, I was very embarrassed and brought it to the manager, Ellen, attention the next day and she was going to talk to the manager. She checked with the “bakery” and they said the cookies were fresh. My suggestion is bring your own cookies and pay the addional $2.00 pp, you’ll be happy you did. I have not heard back from her or the owner, as Ellen said I would hear back in a day or two. ☹️. 4.9 for FOOD, SERVICE and CAKE. 1 for COOKIES.“

“We are so excited that Monty's is open again for the season! Tonight's St. Patrick's Day prix fixe menu had some creative and traditional options from which to choose-hubby had boxty & “best he's ever had” prime rib, & I really enjoyed Caesar salad & planked salmon. The salad included roast tomatoes which elevates it from the usual! The service at Monty's is outstanding-our terrific server was Christina C, and all the additional staff we encountered were friendly and engaging. We look forward to more dinners here, in particular outside when the weather allows!“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in Connecticut and the only reason I know about it is because a friend introduced me to it. It's an authentic, hole-in-the-wall Szechuan restaurant and I've literally never had a bad meal here. My favorites are the the dumplings (duh), the spicy crispy chicken and the dan dan noodles, but honestly I need to venture out and explore more of the menu because every single dish I've had here has been exceptionally delicious. The owners are also so kind and helpful, and it's BYOB if you want to bring a bottle of wine!“

“Incredible service, a gigantic selection and quick delivery. We always have their fantastic food delivered, whether for a meeting or a dinner at home. The salads are huge, the pizzas, of which there are many combinations to choose from, are amazing and the wings are some of the best in town. Portions are really big so we often eat the leftovers the next day. We most recently ordered both a meatball parm grinder, and an eggplant parm grinder which was not greasy. So flavorful! We'll continue to order from here!“

“I have tried many different pho places. This wasn’t the best nor the worst. A bit on the pricey side.I ordered Pho ga (chicken) with tofu. The bean sprouts and Thai basil was super fresh which I was impressed with. The tofu was delicious and slightly crisped which was a nice touch. Personal preference I prefer my tofu crispy! The broth was good. Not too oily and not too sweet, but felt like it may have been missing something. The chicken is where I had a problem with. It was too chewy. Maybe overcooked? Maybe not fresh.Overall I do recommend this spot. They have plenty of options on the menu including vegetarian options. Staff is friendly. Nice elevator music in the background.“

I must comment on the potato leek soup I ordered last night, with BACON - had never had it that way before, and it was excellent! This place is a routine stop for me. With Alfas closing, this place will be even more busy.“

“Friends and I went to the Greek Spot for dinner last week. The menu seemed more varied than other Greek restaurants - including some dishes fusing Greek and other cuisines. Two of us ordered the Vegetarian Moussaka - instead of meat there were roasted vegetables. We didn't know what to expect - and both of us loved it. It was good enough to me to be dessert. My only caveat is that this is not a place to find ambiance - but our meal was so good that that wouldn't deter us from returning in the future. The counter-person provided good service.“

“We went to Milford, CT for a competition so we planned a team dinner at Citrus on Saturday night. And we only have one and half hours from sitting down to finish. Total 30 people includes half of kids aged between 7-13, (one youngster 3-yr old) and all parents. I had to admit, I don't usually give 5 stars to restaurants unless they really worth it. Citrus is one of the few! The food selection is beyond expectations for our group, everyone was so happy for their order. The service is top of the line. Manager Megan is the BEST! She and I worked on the plan one week prior to. She is very detailed oriented and thoughtful. We arrived on time, all the meals were prepared and served within 15mins! (The kitchen had done excellent job to prepare food and serve on time). It was also my daughter's birthday so we brought our own cake, Megan and team accommodated with cutting and distributed to the guests. We left on time after one and half hours later. Most productive and best experience ever! Thank you Megan!“
