“Overall I thought it was very nice. The flavors were well designed, the ambience was chill and welcoming and the staff was friendly.
That said, it's completely hidden away, the definition of a hole in the wall. I drove past this place for probably a year before even realizing it existed. The outdoor seating area is also a hidden gem, it's in a dollar store plaza and at first glance you'd never think there's a little courtyard but low and behold!
The food as I said tasted great, but the presentation lost a few points. Really for simple things, for example on the course that had bread, while again very tastey, serving those dishes on a massive uncut half loaf of bread is just clunky and awkward to share. It's not like they're giving you a knife to cut it and it would really be better if it was just sliced up a bit for you.
Staff was trying their best but the place was packed and between inside and outside it felt like they were a little short handed. Personalities were great though and everyone was welcoming and friendly. It didn't impact the atmosphere but they could probably do with an extra bar tender.
Overall a great addition to the Milford bar scene , especially in that part of town.
Parking: Parking spaces in front are limited but the dollar store lot is connected and plenty of room there.”

We decided to go with several tapas to share and each one was delicious! The service was very good! The owner was often our waitperson! We were celebrating our anniversary, which I had noted on the reservation. I find that restaurants do not often pay attention to "occasions" . But they did!.....offering congrats and an after dinner drink! Would recommend you try it!”

“I recently visited Crazy Horse Axe Throwing…. what a great night! There were six of us and we opted for one of the virtual lanes so we were able to choose different “games” and throw axes at zombies, ducks, etc. This was my first experience with axe throwing so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. The owner/instructor, Lenny is amazing… he took his time to show us how to properly handle and throw the axe; I felt comfortable asking for help as a first-timer. Even our friends who have axe thrown many times, learned a few tricks! When you visit, make sure you wear closed toe shoes. Not thinking, I wore sandals - fortunately one of my friends had sneakers in their vehicle. The place is in a small plaza and may not look like much from the outside, but it is really nice inside. Very clean and the bar is gorgeous! They also have a billiard area if you’re interested in playing pool. Everyone had a great time and we can’t wait to go back!”

Also get the Chicken Orzo and Chicken, Broccoli and Cavatelli Soup. Also recommend the Steak or Chicken Quesadillas. I have an older parent whose very picky and she never argues over any meals from Bobettes. Each order has been perfect, fresh ingredients and just tastes good.”

They have a Cozy looking outside entertainment space around back, a nice social gathering spot with a fire place. The food was amazing! I had their chicken burger with chipotle and fresh avocado, others ordered their burger your way- cooked to perfection!, Meatloaf, not a spec left! Their menu online needs updating as they offer more on their menu for lunch than you see. YUM!”

I have soy allergies and typically have to stay away from anything fried bc most places use a blend oil. Not here!! The canola oil used gave me free rein to try the fish tacos. OMG. They are the best. Freshly made cole slaw accompaniment just gave them such a fresh presentation and flavor. Also had the mussels and a beet salad. All were great!! Almost wanted to take the sauce from mussels home with me for a follow up pasta! My husband also had the salmon dinner plate with the best mashed potatoes!! Dessert stayed true to the meal. Clean and fresh. Amazing flavor. ( flourless chocolate and a coconut gelato ) We enjoyed ourselves so much that we purchased a gift card as a gift for a friend. Such a great nite out. The prices are a little higher than every other Wendy’s I have been to, costing me about 1 extra dollar. This location is just off Interstate 95 and is at a truck stop, so it seems to me they are up charging the truckers & other area travelers, which I don’t appreciate.
The food was decent and the young lady at the drive thru was cordial, but I have experienced better at all the other Wendy’s restaurants in CT.
Overall, it was good, but could have and should have been better…
This location is extremely busy/high volume place with somewhat limited parking.
Parking: There are a lot of parking spots, but given the high volume of people at this place, the parking lot is gets full quickly and many spots have a 15 minute time limit…”

I informed the girl at the counter when I ordered, she informed the manager who then went to them and told the person she couldn't have the dog in the restaurant. To wich the person told her it was a service dog. So the manager just walked away
It was clearly not a service dog. It had no vest with a service dog card and when asked to see the card the person could not provide it. The manager did nothing about it. This is a restaurant serving food in open containers such as fries, hash browns. Having a dog in the restaurant is not except able. .the manager showed no concern for the other people in the dining area. Terrible experience all the way.”

We devoured #17 and #15 as pizza like never before. New Yorks is really good; great, even; entirely worth the trip. But Papa's II in Milford, we tipped 22% for take out ... that we simply couldn't wait for, but to eat right there.
We watched them roll out the dough and build the pizzas right before our eyes. The ingredients couldn't have been fresher. When we took our first bite, our taste buds were stunned with amazement. Seriously.
The taste was magical. They waited patiently past closing for the 4 of us to finish two full large pies. My words to the chef who served us were, "Seriously, 10 stars out of 5 if Google would us! Thank you for that amazing, delicious pizza!!"
We were visiting from Japan and Baltimore. Wish we lived next door! I have 4 stars for the atmosphere, only because it was very simple and basic. Very clean, just nothing notable beyond that. 5 stars for cleanliness!! ?

The reason some of these places taste better than others is purely timing. If you dont have an owner paying attention to this then you have employees overstocking. You have to have bread and vegetables fresh not prepared early in the day and sitting around going stale. “Went in on a Sunday around 11 am. And they had already run out of a lot of things on the menu. And it’s exactly what I like about this place. Probably goes to show how they do use fresh ingredients. Also love the fact that they have fresh squeezed OJ. We ended up ordering off the specials menu and really enjoyed the food.”

“I was here with my child and saw the young male server Ben whom I've had before either terrible service tell a young child maybe 6 or 7 years old to shut up for no reason. Very unprofessional. If that was my child I'd make him shut up with his teeth missing. Get this kid to hrow up. Such a shame”

“Their pizza is always delicious! I love the hot oil pizza with stingers on it. I got takeout this time so only gave 3 stars for atmosphere. I've eaten there before but it was more than 10 years ago, so I'll have to go back to rate the atmosphere. The pizza was as good as ever. Totally worth the trip for the pizza!”

“What a great night out. We prefer food not over processed, freshly prepared and use of quality ingredients. Village bistro provided this and so much more. I have soy allergies and typically have to stay away from anything fried bc most places use a blend oil. Not here!! The canola oil used gave me free rein to try the fish tacos. OMG. They are the best. Freshly made cole slaw accompaniment just gave them such a fresh presentation and flavor. Also had the mussels and a beet salad. All were great!! Almost wanted to take the sauce from mussels home with me for a follow up pasta! My husband also had the salmon dinner plate with the best mashed potatoes!! Dessert stayed true to the meal. Clean and fresh. Amazing flavor. ( flourless chocolate and a coconut gelato ) We enjoyed ourselves so much that we purchased a gift card as a gift for a friend. Such a great nite out. No stomach problems the next day either. This never happens. ❤️❤️”

You can do takeouts or there’s a small seating arrangement, nothing fancy but id nice and comfortable. I loved the spring rolls, Chef special dumplings and the House special fried rice!
I also tried wontons in chilli sauce and recommend trying spicy chicken if you like spicy food!”
