“We went to celebrate my sister's birthday last Sunday. I really dont do Italian, but this restaurant was ok. The service was phenomenal. The owner and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The appetizers were okay. The disappointment started with the calamari they just served rings, no tentacles, and they were overcooked and chewy. The crab cake was decent, but they should use a lump crab for the price. The linguine and clams were awesome. I enjoyed the fresh pasta. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. The cheesecake cake and the limoncello cake were great. I would definitely go back again. To try other pasta dishes that are on the menu. Go check it out. I think you would enjoy it”

There are two different taprooms (Area 2 even has rooftop seating) and their own food hall conveniently located right across the street (although you could order food to the taprooms as well).The nachos were loaded, pretzel with beer cheese was tasty, and the Buffalo wings were a hit.I was sure to order a flight to try some @tworoadsbrewing beer, specialty cocktails, and their recent collaboration with @guyfieri. And check out Bee’s Knees, a limited time cocktail, with fresh honey made right on campus!”
“I didn't eat. They often have 4 or so bands play on one night, and the performances are always great. This place supports new bands. Some can be loud or not your taste of music, but it's worth supporting musicians everywhere! Check the schedule.”

“Great first time there. Drinks were good. My major problem was that everything on the menu sounded good and I had a hard time deciding. I ended up choosing the cod sandwich and I can tell you they didn't try to cheat me. It was almost intimidating how large the sandwich was. It was delicious and based on how it looked another patron walked in asked what it was and ordered the same thing. Can't wait for another visit to try something else”

“Looking for an authentic fresh Mediterranean spot? Then my Gyro is the place to go. It’s family owned, so you know they care about the people and the ingredients they put in their food. There’s not a lot of additives, so the quality is great and not filled with a lot of unhealthy ingredients. Vegetables were fresh. The lettuce is Crisp tomatoes are juicy and the White sauce or cucumber sauce is a perfect blend to put over any of the food you get. The hummus tasted like he just whipped it up in front of us. The service was amazing. We were greeted soon as we walked. He gave us a few recommendations and some samples of things we might’ve wanted to try in the future. The owner is the cook, so he takes pride and what he do. Had great conversation and a few laughs while waiting. He’s very interactive with his customers. As people where walking in he knew them a a first name bases. There can be some wait time for some of the chicken but that’s so he knows no one will get sick and he can sleep at night. Overall, my experience at this location was exceptional.”

“I went here yesterday for my birthday with my husband. First off we were greeted immediately when we came in and were able to sit anywhere we wanted. Our server Rehna came over right away and was super friendly. I wasn't sure what cocktail to choose and she brought me a specialty cocktail menu. I can't remember the name of the drink but it had a cucumber taste and I think there was also muddled mint in it. It was SO FREAKIN GOOD!!!! Our food came out quick, but not too quick allowing us a chance to settle in. Everything was delicious and cooked and plated to our asking. (I am one of those people who like things "on the side") and might be annoying to some but not her. It was exactly as I asked. She checked on us to make sure everything was okay ? and it was great. Thank you so much for making my special day even better. We live in Southbury now but my husband grew up in Stratford and has been there many many times. When we are in the area again we will be sure to stop in again.”

“When I visit my family in Connecticut I love to have some good pizza! My sister brought me here and I loved it!! We ordered the pepperoni pie and a sausage and green pepper pie! The crust was light and had a nice crisp and the toppings were delicious and fresh! One of the best pizza’s I’ve had! ?”
“We've been to La Fortuna 2 or 3 times and have always enjoyed our experience. My husband decided that we should take Easter off and go out to dinner. He called to make a reservation for 1pm.When we arrived, the restaurant was bright and festive. We were created by smiling faces and Happy Easter's. As they brought us to our table, the bartender acknowledged us and said happy Easter with a bug smile. The manager was visible throughout the restaurant greeting and checking on patrons as well as providing backup as needed to the waitstaff.Our waiter was Marco. He created us and took our drink order to give us time to look at the menu. The bartender brought our drinks and chatted. I was happy that their regular menu was available and had planned on ordering something from there until we saw the specials. We started with tri color insalata...so fresh and the dressing was so good. We then ordered the stuffed salmon which was stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp and came with spinach and mashed potatoes. Absolutely out of this world. The salmon was cooked perfectly. There's was enough stuffing but not so much it took away from the dish. The sauce was tasty and added depth to the dish. The spinach was also cooked perfectly with some fresh garlic. We really enjoyed our meal. We finished with a piece of cheesecake and a tiramisu and some coffee.Absolutely fantastic meal.The staff works so well together. Everyone is always smiling. They make you feel welcome. You feel like family!Great experience as always.Can't wait for our next date!”

I went into harvest house, and asked if they could make me some vegetarian sushi. There was a father and daughter combo who were very kind And made a delicious, avocado cucumber roll that my daughter adored. Two girlfriends and I enjoyed a delicious dinner there tonight in conjunction with Stratford's 2024 Restaurant Week. Great thought and care are put into everything at this waterfront restaurant, from the artsy nautical decor to the dedicated "sushi room" to the very attentive waitstaff. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and perhaps most importantly, the food was amazing! We each ordered the Sherry Chicken dinner and agreed that it was one of the best meals ever. We'll be back! When the food hall opened, that was a natural place for us to go. We were a little surprised it was across the street from the brewery and almost missed finding it, I'm sure glad we found it because it was a great. I had the chicken sandwich special at lunch, and my husband had the schnitzel. My chicken sandwich was superlative. Not fancy but a large portion of well fried well season chicken on a delicious bun with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato. It came with a slaw that was made from red cabbage and absolutely wonderful. My husband's schnitzel looked dry, but when I took a taste of it, it was not dry at all. It was delicious and well cooked. Lunch for the two of us including beers was under $30. This is definitely a place we will return to and you can be sure I will get that chicken sandwich again.”

I love how there's an area where you can sit in a nice setting and have dinner, or you can sit in the bar area for a more relaxed setting. The bar area is beautiful as well. The bread they served with the white bean hummus was delicious! It's very different from anything else I've experienced. We ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich - spicy slaw, tomato, avocado, and provolone. With parmesan fries. Also, the French dip - daily roast, provolone, and horseradish cream. With onion rings. Everything was delicious!! Best fries and onion rings, hands down. The service was great! The gentleman behind the bar was very helpful and kind. Will definitely be returning.”

I had the lobster roll as my meal the husband had a pasta Dish with scallops and sausage. All very good and the wait time to be Served was excellent. We Highly recommend this place.”

“This was our first time ordering from Gregory's. We had the food delivered. We ordered a large bacon and onion pizza, which was pretty decent. The sauce was a bit on the bland side and the bacon wasn't salty. Their Cobb salad with chicken was outstanding. The best I have ever had. It didn't need any dressing. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection, and seasoned so well. Their wings had no seasoning. I say, use the seasoning used on the chicken breast. That would make those wings amazing. The garlic bread with cheese was excellent, garlicky. This was an overall very good experience. Customer service was awesome and delivery man also.”

“A great landmark burger and dog spot! The original burger works includes lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper on a fresh bun (reminds me of French Bakery buns!) and is satisfying. They also make real milk shakes with ice cream (no chemical shakes here)! Picnic tables to eat at outside or eat in your car (aka drive-in).”

I drove to the restaurant location and was told a taco place was taken over. The person I spoke to could not speak English, so I couldn't find put what happened to Sami and his restaurant. I loved his pizza, and his service was suburb. I wish I knew what happened. Everything still shows active on the website. Sami, if you are reading this, please let us know if you shut down. I am going to miss your pizza. I can't even find any pizza places now.. Will missYou greatly. Thank you for all the years of service.”

“I had promised my teenage daughter vegetarian sushi for dinner. When I got to big Y, they were out of the vegetarian options. I went into harvest house, and asked if they could make me some vegetarian sushi. There was a father and daughter combo who were very kind And made a delicious, avocado cucumber roll that my daughter adored. It was also very nice knowing that the food had been freshly prepared while I was sitting there. Thank you so much to Dad and Daughter, and I am sure that we will be back!”

Not going to lie....sometimes we order from them for breakfast AND lunch. Their breakfast burritos are so good and filling, the carne tacos and carne quesadillas are amazing. “We went to celebrate my sister's birthday last Sunday. I really dont do Italian, but this restaurant was ok. The service was phenomenal. The owner and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The appetizers were okay. The disappointment started with the calamari they just served rings, no tentacles, and they were overcooked and chewy. The crab cake was decent, but they should use a lump crab for the price. The linguine and clams were awesome. I enjoyed the fresh pasta. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well. The cheesecake cake and the limoncello cake were great. I would definitely go back again. To try other pasta dishes that are on the menu. Go check it out. I think you would enjoy it”

“I went here yesterday for my birthday with my husband. First off we were greeted immediately when we came in and were able to sit anywhere we wanted. Our server Rehna came over right away and was super friendly. I wasn't sure what cocktail to choose and she brought me a specialty cocktail menu. I can't remember the name of the drink but it had a cucumber taste and I think there was also muddled mint in it. It was SO FREAKIN GOOD!!!! Our food came out quick, but not too quick allowing us a chance to settle in. Everything was delicious and cooked and plated to our asking. (I am one of those people who like things "on the side") and might be annoying to some but not her. It was exactly as I asked. She checked on us to make sure everything was okay ? and it was great. Thank you so much for making my special day even better. We live in Southbury now but my husband grew up in Stratford and has been there many many times. When we are in the area again we will be sure to stop in again.”
