“We were staying in Fairfield, CT, and ended up dining here four different times during our visit—which says a lot by itself.

What impressed me most wasn’t just the consistently excellent food, but the exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience memorable.

On our last visit, one of the staff members, Priya, came over and asked if we’d like complimentary henna. My son immediately excitedly asked if she could draw Spider-Man on his hand. I honestly expected her to politely decline, but instead she smiled, took her time, and patiently created a wonderful Spider-Man design for him. It absolutely made his day, and it’s a gesture we’ll remember for a long time.

Over our four visits, we tried the dosas, paneer butter masala, samosas, paneer tikka, and tadka dal, goat dish—and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and delicious.

It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines outstanding food with such genuine kindness and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in the area.”

“Green Chilitos has shot right towards the top of best food in Fairfield. The owner, Carlos, couldn't be kinder and the food was fantastic. We got the chicken tinga quesadilla and shrimp tacos and both were so fresh and tasty. We also ordered the mango-pineapple drink and it's a MUST get. Carlos threw in a horchata for us to try and the cinnamon flavor was so good. This will not be our last time there!”

“I drove 2 and a half hours down I-95 from Boston to check this place out. I was pretty apprehensive about the whole thing, but it ended up being worth it as the small pizza was almost as big as the large. The pizza plus the orange juice ended up costing $13 and the employee that greeted me when I walked in was so sweet I wanted to give her a hug, though I made her a little nervous doing this. The combination of the pizza and the orange juice was perfect for the pill I had to take as well! My waiter Chris came and took my order with a clipboard and even let me eat and told me to have a bite while he got my review. He even had a full camera crew filming me while I did it, meaning I was going to end up being on TV! I might have gotten a little too horny with my review though, as I might of came off as a dishonest dirty person to him lol. He was so nice though I even offered him a slice of my pizza, but he politely declined. After I ate, I got a police escort to get the full story as there were about 14 cops that saw my review and wanted to know if I was serious about it. I told them this pizza was so great, that if I ever got married, it would be at this place where I would also sign the contract. I didn't get to go back to this place for about 30 months afterwards (no reason behind it) but I never forgot how great the food and experience was! My friend Sonny Derek Porter will tell you how great it is too! Totally recommend it to y'all! This pizza is worth going to prison for!”

My go-to is the New Englander, and it never disappoints. My buddy had the Chicagoan and loved it. We both got a burger as well, which was cooked perfectly and impressively juicy. We were both taken aback by the hand-cut fries with S&P. We commented on how hard it is to consistently turn out such high-quality, short-order potatoes, and Gary gave us a detailed rundown of their process. After a lengthy discussion, including the merits of whole-belly clams vs. strips, Gary even gave us an order of hand-battered onion rings to try, which were also stellar. Super Duper is the real deal, from the menu to the people!”

My niece and I ordered two different crepes—the Dubai Chocolate and another flavor that I believe was Number 8 on the menu. Both were incredibly delicious, and by the time we finished, we were already talking about coming back to try more flavors.

It was one of those moments when you go looking for one thing but end up discovering something even better. The crepes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, making the experience a pleasant surprise.

“Had a wonderful experience at Blackstones Grille last night. Their newly designed outdoor patio space was so comfortable. I hosted a dinner for staff and we were fortunate to have Alexa as our waitress. She was attentive and promptly served us with exactly what we ordered. She even suggested a dessert idea of sampling tray of all the desserts on the menu which was a big hit!
Best is happy hours are all day Sunday and Monday with a wonderful menu at reasonable prices. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed’n”

“Visited SDW last week for lunch with a chef pal who has several restaurants overseas. When he is Stateside, he always searches for staple foods done right. Gary and the crew delivered on all fronts. My go-to is the New Englander, and it never disappoints. My buddy had the Chicagoan and loved it. We both got a burger as well, which was cooked perfectly and impressively juicy. We were both taken aback by the hand-cut fries with S&P. We commented on how hard it is to consistently turn out such high-quality, short-order potatoes, and Gary gave us a detailed rundown of their process. After a lengthy discussion, including the merits of whole-belly clams vs. strips, Gary even gave us an order of hand-battered onion rings to try, which were also stellar. Super Duper is the real deal, from the menu to the people!”

I was so pleased to call the store and have a very friendly and helpful young man help me to navigate a bit. What blew my mind is that he WALKED MY ORDER TO ME at the end of a long day and intense heat!!! He refused a tip and asked me to shout abt his store and service to the moon!!!! “I really wanted to love the chicken katsu from here. Of course, I didn’t get anything crazy, just the panko crusted chicken with white rice. The presentation of items was a 5⭐ I'm loving the small reusable bag they give you. Inside looked very nice, I would consider dinner out here, give this place a second chance to repost a 5⭐.
I give a four because:
Most importantly, the chicken katsu didn’t impress me.
I like that they ration the rice ands give a great portion of chicken. However, they did not give me the brown sauce known on the chicken katsu.
Yes, I asked for spicy mayo, which they charged me for, however I didn’t say instead of the sauce, it was on the side.
I had some confusion on entering the building, the door sticks. It looks dark inside from outside, ands I tried pulling on the door, however it appeared locked after numerous attempts, I walked around the back of the building.
I will go back and try this again, the food and experience may have just been off, I hope to revisit this comment and update.”

“The deli in the Old Post Market puts out some amazing sandwiches, that's what Guilfort Grimsly from the Radio City Bar there on Peabody road tells me every time I go there for a beer. He's always pumping up the place, so I asked him if he's getting a kickback from the place..he isn't but he smiled like he could have been. Well, I finally went to the Old Post Market, and got a couple of amazing sandwiches. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Writing this review while I’m still sitting here because it was that good. My three friends and I decided to try somewhere new, and from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warm, friendly energy.

We ordered five tapas along with our meals, and everything was honestly a 10/10. The ceviche and chicharrón tapas are a must, and the ropa vieja was hands down some of the most flavorful shredded meat I’ve ever had. The drinks were also top tier and perfectly made.

Even the music and wait staff were amazing and really added to the overall vibe of the place.

I would 1000% recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back.”
