“Once again last night you did not disappoint me. Food was great, Service was great, Drinks, well, Espresso Martini, I can drink them all night. I don't have a unpleasant thing to say. Was there with some friends of mine and their daughter who's back from school for a long weekend. No pictures of food, you know what your food looks like. Probably 50% cheaper than some of the restaurants a little further down the Post Rd in Fairfield Center that I drove by. I never feel rushed at your place. Thanks again for making a special night even more special.“

“Everything about Quattro Pazzi is simply great. I’ll start with the service which is excellent; not intrusive while remaining attentive. Always there at the right time. Let’s just get right to the food. Our appetizers were fantastic. We had clams. We had a great Caesar salad and the eggplant appetizer was delicious. The eggplant appetizer introduced us to the red sauce, at least one of them, which was well balanced, just light enough with wonderful flavor. What could matter more than the red sauce in an Italian restaurant? I ordered the sole and it was absolutely delicious the broccoli rob in a light garlic and oil was spot on. Everybody gobbled up their dishes and best of all we were celebrating my mothers birthday. I look forward to returning soon. Thank you QP.“

“Catering Party @ Sally’s Apizza Fairfield On Saturday September 13, 2025, we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The food, service and staff were phenomenal. We all know how great the pizza is, but the appetizers and salads were equally great. I can’t say enough about the wonderful servers, Dan and Brandon. There were efficient, kind, friendly and polite. They went out of their way to insure everyone was having a great time. The bartenders and other staff went a long way to help make everyone enjoy the party. I also want to thank the General Manager, James Layfield and the Catering Manager, Helen Blanchard for their exceptional service and hospitality. “Finally, a meal worth raving about!

It has been years since we’ve had a restaurant experience this wonderful. Ever since COVID, we’ve found ourselves leaving restaurants wondering whether the food was really worth the price. Well, Il Pellicano reminded us that a truly excellent dinner can still be had.

We started with the olive oil flight, which was such a lovely way to begin. I ordered the puttanesca, and I can say without hesitation it was the best I’ve ever had. Our foodie friends visiting from New Haven ordered the gnocchi and the wild mushroom pappardelle, and they were absolutely delighted. My wife had the shrimp scampi and loved every bite.

What made the evening even more special was the service. The waitstaff was exceptionally attentive, polished, and professional without ever making the experience feel formal or fussy.

There is something so satisfying about a restaurant that gets all the little things right. Beautifully prepared food, wonderful service, and the pleasure of sitting around a table with people you love, enjoying a meal that feels worth every penny.

We left already talking about coming back. And that, to me, says everything.“

“Great little hidden hidden gem right by the train station on the north side. When ordering the pizza on the phone, lady was pleasant, professional, and very accommodating, making sure the order was taken down correctly. Food was delicious, sausage pizza, and a cheese pizza. Very good. Parking is a little tricky, but they do have marked parking spots for the restaurant“
