“This place is great! my wife and I recently moved into the area and have been looking for a good deli, we were lucky enough to find Mattei's and this is now our go to place. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, great service and a great customer experience.“

“We love this place! The food is to die for , so many mouth watering choices and huge portions! We enjoyed the nachos, stuffed shrooms Chicken Parm, Chicken Alana , Chicken ala Vodka and Spicy Chicken with penne , to name a few. We were there Friday listening to my daughter , Tori, play guitar and sing downstairs and we had a big group with us. Every person loved their food and will be coming again. Also, the owner , Mike, is so kind , a class act and the people that work there bend over backwards making sure everyone is comfortable and have what they need. Amy and Lily greeted us with friendliness and warmth and that demeanor continued through the three plus hours we were there. Thank you Twisted Vine for such a fun and delicious evening ! Can’t wait to be back !“

“Under new ownership! We stopped in for a meal and I ended up being highly satisfied, started with bread and an oil garlic and herb did, that had a lot of aroma and fine taste. Bread was hard shell soft inside perfect to soak up the oil. We ordered espresso martinis that were excellent in taste! Then the salad, great color to the greens and crunchy croutons with a great Cesar dressing. The meals Fra Diablo calamari in spaghetti and a shrimp and scallop special with broccoli rabe cooked with knowledge and heart. Finish with a Sauvignon Blanc. What a great meal and they are making the dining area cozy and warm. Exactly what you need when you eat at an Italian restaurant. I will continue to dine in and out.“

“Me and my individual went there last night. We each got our own pizza. Broccoli & chicken pizza, pepperoni pizza. Both were very delicious especially with that crunchy crust not too crunchy but just perfect. The family there was very nice, helpful and funny. “I’ve been once and it was awesome but my second time back, my husband and I had a horrible experience. 1-2pm on a Saturday in JUNE, there was ONE waitress (who was lovely) but took forever because she was waiting on other tables AND bartending. The food was horrible, (second time around) & was undercooked. The only thing we enjoyed was our 1 beer and 1 glass of wine. I hate to say but I don’t think we’d give it another shot unfortunately. “Tried Pizzaro’s Pizzeria for the first time. My wife and I shared a large antipasta salad and a large cheese pizza with garlic, half pepperoni and half broccoli. Everything was great. While this is more a takeout place they have large booths and the service was excellent. The salad was awesome and so large we took 1/4 of it home. The pizza was excellent. Thin crust with a delicious sauce. I’m not a fan of the outer crust but this was so good I ate everything. I highly recommend their pizza. We have to go back and try their subs and meals as I witnessed many people getting these and pizza for takeout. I give it five stars. We will be back.“

“I stopped in for a Roast Beef grinder and small container of potatoe salad. The bread was fresh, the roast beef, Boar's Head brand, amazingly tender, and tasty. Perfect mix of condiments, seasoning and vegetables. I have lived in Seymour for quite a few years, and had never tried the grinders, I will be back.“

Answered all questions we had, made accommodations requested by a 6 year old with 0 hesitation or annoyance, the food was great and came out as quickly as the bread, my stepson had requested an additional side not listed on the kids menu and she didn't even bat an eyelash making it happen for him.
