“This is a special place. It is lovely to see a family owned restaurant with such hard-working individuals. They take pride in all the details: from the graphics on the plate, to the tiles, to the interior sign that is made from organic materials. A beautiful husband-wife, team and family. The food is sensational and the cappuccino makes my day.My favorite is the Stromboli“
“Phenomenal service top to bottom. My partner and I sat by the window with a gorgeous view of the river below us. The non alcoholic cocktails are beautifully crafted, making it feel as though you’re really drinking with the rest of your party. Be sure to not miss any of their amazing specials! We shared the pana cotta for dessert and were gifted complimentary house made limoncello and biscottis. If you are staying at the hotel zero degrees, it would truly be a shame to miss out.“
“Walked in with a reservation for 4 people on a Friday evening and promptly seated by the owner/Chef, Nino - no menus - and fed a 6-course menu of excellent food and wine. Absolutely amazing! Go for the absolute surprise of what's coming next, cozy atmosphere, Nino's fun stories (if you care to engage with him - he's a hoot!) and enjoying classically-prepared Italian cuisine, without a worry. Truly an experience we won't forget, and will definitely be back.“
“My family and I went for dinner there for my daughter's birthday.First time there and I have lived in Norwalk for 20 years etc.Somehow missed it.Place was excellent!Food and waitstaff were tremendous. Could not have been nicer.Very good Italian cuisine.I will definitely be back“
“This pizza is amazing. It is so good, we don't even *care* that they don't deliver, and only take cash -- and neither do all the other customers who go there to pick up their pizzas. Now, my boyfriend and I are small people and don't eat that much, so a small pizza is the perfect size for us -- and he prefers his pizza well done (as many pizza places just try to rush as many out the door ask quickly as possible and the cheese is barely melted. But not Little Nick's. As long as you're willing to wait? They're willing to cook it to your liking. Great mozzarella sticks, too. And honestly, the wait is never that long. It's just good food -- always fresh ingredients, good people, and really delicious. ...and this comes from someone who grew up in NYC. (Granted, I have now lived in CT for 23 years, so it is hard to claim too much NY "credibility", especially since I pretty much have NO dog in the NY/CT pizza war since I spent 1/2 my life there and 1/2 my life here. Seriously, though - there is a lot of good pizza to be found around here, but I am pretty sure they are the best.“
“I have been dying to try Crust Pizza Company for weeks and they did not disappoint! The thin crust pizza was perfect, as was their plain pizza. We loved the soups and I will definitely be going back for their beet salad! Wonderful food and extremely nice people.“
“If you're a fan of quality New Haven style pizza (apizza?) RP is for you. I got the Wooster Street pizza and ordered with pepperoni and mushrooms. Well done. Great sauce and crust and naturally that's the foundation of a quality pie. The roasted mushrooms were fresh and pepperoni was generous but not overkill. Strips of fresh basil made the difference. Even in the box it smelled so amazing it made the 5 min drive home seem like an hour! Rowayton Pizza will be my standard Friday night fare.“
“There are so many things that was great. Customer Service for one, food tasteful I had a bacon egg and cheese right amount of bacon to cheese ratio lol... Lets talk about the cappuccino wayyy better than Starbucks, Dunkin, and McDonalds combined. I work up the street this will be my go to spot for coffee.“
“Our party of 4 had an excellent dinner. Food quality was excellent. Larger portions and somewhat reasonable prices. Our server and the bus team were very professional. The decor and the mood lighting were excellent. Music was a very nice mix but, a little loud. Cocktails were nicely made but could be slightly larger. Martini glasses are not real martini glasses. We have had many great dinners there. Highly recommended.“
“I lived in Norwalk over 36 years and Jordan’s was and always will be the best of the best. Sadly I’m living in Yuma Arizona now and begging them to open a restaurant here. Dominos and papa John’s aren’t making me happy. At least I can order the salad dressing on line! Thank you it’s the best! Come visit me…Yuma is the lettuce capital of the world. And bring pizzas!Parking: Great behind restaurant parking and well lit.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly!!!!!!“
“Great family owned restaurant.I'm a veal Parm kind of guy, last night i had the veal & peppers, oh man was it good. it was perfect for a veal lover like me. My beautiful wife had baked ravioli and that was just fabulous as well.Ohhhh.... and then we had this really yummy ice cream with cherries and nuts, covered in a chocolate shell. and a cappuccino... of course.Thank you all so much for a wonderful dinner.Ed & Toni Mcquillan“
“I had a very nice meal tonight at Valentino's. I normally spend my monthly overnight for work in Stamford but decided to give Norwalk a try. Other then the price the meal was spectacular! Started off with some clams casino and the moved on to some veal saltambucca. Both were delicious but I couldn't afford do go here on a regular basis.“
“Best Pizza in Fairfield County! Excellent Pizza, excellent service, better than any other pizza in the area! This is my first stop whenever I’m in CT!!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly atmosphere!Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy access for people in wheelchairs.“
“We came for pizza, the decor is basic but the pies we tried were very good, thin crust with a bit of char. Note you can specify how well cooked you want the crust so make sure you do so. We had a sausage/onion, a pepperoni and a plain cheese. Its a nice thin crust style, sort of a cross between NYC and New Haven. We would definitely come back. Good to now have a spot for when we are in Norwalk.“
“We had my mom's Celebration of Life reception at Ponza's upstairs room. The room was beautifully decorated, light and airy with an abundance of space. Various seating arrangements (hi-tops, banquettes, etc.) gave the space a great visual feel. ALL of my food choices were plentiful, delicious and perfectly presented in a buffet style. (Get the antipasto platter... and their meatballs, amazing!) And don't get me started on the desserts. The owner/manager (Veronica) worked tirelessly for me in getting the set up exactly right. They have a small service bar upstairs, and the bartender was super friendly and 'on point' with the drinks. Made it really easy for folks to get beverages without having to go down to the main level for service. The wonderful staff kept an eye on the food and when it appeared that we were running low, they always let me know and asked if I wanted more or something else. They also have three plasma tv's where we were able to put in videos of my mom and play them throughout the evening, along with piping in a music channel of our choice. Linen tablecloths, tea lights on every table... Our guests were very, very impressed. All in all, an event that surpassed my expectations!!! I wish I thought to take photos of the space... but do yourself a favor... go check it out for yourself!!! I certainly will be back : )“
“Ordered pizza for pickup. Order took a little bit longer than originally expected, but Nate's hospitality is 100% the reason we will be back due to his handling of the situation. The pizza was absolutely delicious (and HUGE)! Totally recommend coming here for your pizza cravings!“
“Exceptional food and service! A must try in Norwalk, especially if you are a NY transplant! The food could not have been more delicious! Everyone at our table tried a different dish and all agreed that everything was amazing! If you are looking to eat authentic Italian food..go to Mamma Bella!!“
“This is a hidden gem. The food here is EXCELLENT and better than most upmarket restaurants. The burgers are amazing and the salads are one of the best I've ever had. The prices are good for the quality and quantity of food you get. Service is kind and there's never a long wait for the food because the place is very small. It's very cozy and has fairy lights and artificial leaves around it to enhance the atmosphere. Very family friendly and a nice cozy date night spot.“
“This place is a haven for Greek pizza enthusiasts! The flavors are simply outstanding. Don't miss out on the incredible Pella salad, which comes in a delightful bread bowl. And guess what? They even offer their delectable salad dressing for purchase in bottles. A must-visit.“
“Delicious Italian Food in Norwalk Connecticut! Wow! I came to Connecticut for the 1st time to see our Son. I’m from Houston, Texas! Wow! Very impressed with our Waiter! He was TOP NOTCH. I am half Italian and this food was the best! One proud Houstonian and the ASTROS are going to the World Series! Great night visiting!“
“Incredible food, fast service, convenient location, and friendly owner and staff. What more would you want? Have been to this place several times and every dish is superb. The portions are large and you'll probably want to get a doggie bag to go.“
