“This place will vary greatly in atmosphere and cocktail quality depending on who's bartending. The employee turnover rate has been high lately and I'm not loving the newer management HOWEVER overall still a solid option for cocktails and their Neapolitan style pizza is delicious. Your night will be great if you're lucky enough to be served by Eugene! He makes the best cocktails. Dorian is very friendly and will provide great service. If you want to plan events, Brandon W is simply the best!!”
“To start, Orion is one of the best beers I've ever had. Great spot to chill with friends and family. My only gripe is the ambiance, it's really bright and a bit bare inside. Would be cool to see more art, cool lighting and other moody touches.”
“First and foremost, I RARELY give any restaurant five stars. This restaurant earned their five stars; food, service, atmosphere all hit the mark! The food is absolutely delicious. I'm a seafood lover and I must say it's the BEST seafood restaurant I've ever been to. Everything I ate was very fresh and the kitchen definitely know what they're doing. Calamari was crispy on the outside and tender inside. It comes with buffalo sauce, lemon aioli and bamu sauce which is a spicy thin Asian sauce. Clam chowder was creamy, had the usual bacon, clams and celery and garnished with a clam on the shell; great touch if you ask me. The spicy tuna tartare was my favorite thing I ate. It came with papadum chips that were light and crispy (better than potato chips!). The tuna tartare had the right amount of spice that didn't overpower your tastebuds but it let you know you were eating fresh, delicious tuna. The cucumbers added a very refreshing touch to the dish and I loved the wasabi aioli! The hot lobster roll was perfect. Coleslaw was delicious. The steamers are always messy to eat but worth it! I had a mini seafood feast and I was super satisfied leaving the restaurant. I usually finish a good meal with dessert but I had no room. There's always a next visit for that! I didn't try my son's cheeseburger because I strictly wanted seafood but it was cooked medium just how we asked and he said it was delicious. My son is a picky eater so if he says it's good, it's good. Ambiance is very nice. There's indoor and outdoor seating. If you're a sun lover you'd love to be outdoors with the sun shining on you while you dine with a great view of the water and boats. Inside had nice nautical decor. They had a nice bar area with lots of drinks. Our server, MJ, was amazing. He was very attentive to all our needs. It was our first time eating here and we will return because of MJ and the amazing food. Our cups were always full and finished dishes cleared away. I appreciate servers like MJ because it elevates the dining experience. Great food can only get you so far but hard workers like MJ truly magnify a great experience. The restaurant was super packed. They have valet parking and I honestly thought we would wait forever but we didn't. We got in right away and our food promptly came out. MJ made sure we got the food in the order we wanted and we didn't feel rushed or ignored. Again, this is why I'm giving them five stars! If you love seafood, great service and a beautiful view, check them out.”

“I’ve been to Greer twice now. First for dinner summer of 2024 and for brunch last week. My partner had celiacs so we need to be careful about cross contamination with gluten. The first time we went was a great experience. The server was knowledgeable and made us confident in his and the kitchen’s understanding of our allergy restrictions and the food was very good. This made the experience we had last weekend much more of a disappointment. We called ahead to ensure that there were safe gluten free options on the brunch menu and had a good idea of what we planned to order as a result but as is our usual practice we still asked our server when he greeted us to verify that we were ordering safely. He unfortunately didn’t have a good understanding of the menu or allergens so he had to check with kitchen staff (again this is proper practice and I’d always prefer they ask to be sure than risk glutening us). He didn’t return to take our food order for over 20 minutes and appeared to forget about us as he tended to other tables. When he finally returned he had forgotten to ask and had to go to the back again. We weren’t in a rush so we would have happily sipped our coffees while we waited but the cappuccino and latte we were served were undrinkable. I don’t know if the espresso machine was malfunctioning or the person who made it wasn’t familiar with it but it was very watery and stale with no foam on my cappuccino. We asked to change them out for regular drip coffee which tasted great so that was the right move. We ordered a starter and entrees and everything dropped at our table at once at varying temperatures. By this point it was starting to get busy but it was still disappointing after such a long wait. We let our server know our frustration and he was apologetic and absolutely made it right but it was a stark decline in experience from our first visit so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was just an off day but I’m not sure we will be back for brunch because the gf options were limited. The pimento cheese is delicious!
Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free options but the staff was not very knowledgeable about celiacs and the fryer is not gluten free.”
“This is my new favorite caffe! The sandwiches are incredible, they have a great coffee and tea selection, they have pastries, AND they have gelato! Everything is so good, and the ambiance is amazing. The staff are all incredibly kind and attentive, too. I love this place, 5 stars for sure.”

“What an amazing experience! The food is delicious, our waiter was super attentive and offered some very tasty recommendations. We visited for Dinner, it was a little hectic and we didn’t have reservations but the waiter and hostess (which happens to be the owner) made us feel special, and even addressed us by our names. We had the chicken parm with fettuccine pesto, the swordfish (DELICIOUS) and the artichokes florets - everything was amazing!!!! What called my attention to the restaurant is the name, as my daughter’s name is Josie, they made her feel so special (THANK YOU) .. We will definitely be visiting again to try their sandwiches!!!”
“I love this place so much. It’s probably my favorite restaurant in Norwalk. My whole family dined there regularly. My kids love it. The food and drinks are great, service is always excellent. It’s clean and the atmosphere is relaxing. The only thing I wish would be some new options on the menu.”

“Fast friendly and efficient. They had everything ready including my sandwich before I even paid! Very minimal conversation, but that was a good thing for this time in the morning. Just saying it so you don’t walk in expecting to have one. As far as Sunday morning pick-me-up coffee goes? 10/10.”
“Easy_on_easy_off from exit 16 of i_95 (Connecticut turnpike), drive thru available but no outdoor seating. Plenty of parking on the side and in the rear of the building. There is a dairy queen counter inside this location. The inside space is cozy, comfy and good for groups or for dining alone. Male and female restrooms available inside.”
“While I’m not usually a fan of McDonald’s, sometimes you just need something quick and easy. On this particular day, I was in need of a coffee and a quick meal. The random fish sandwich and coffee did exactly what I needed—a fast, on-the-go meal. With good customer service, clean bathrooms, and a well-managed business, this visit exceeded my expectations. It’ll likely be months or even years before I stop at McDonald’s again, but this one was a pleasant surprise thanks to their service and the fact that it was a fair meal at a reasonable price.”
“Dunkin's incorporation of an ice cream store offers a diverse menu and maintains high-quality products, providing an enjoyable experience with a variety of coffee and ice cream choices. The service is efficient, and the location is convenient. However, the merger has led to cramped space, particularly noticeable on a rainy day visit when the indoor entrance was wet and unmonitored, posing a slip hazard. Although the issue was reported to a staff member, the slow response to this safety concern could be risky, highlighting a need for better safety measures to enhance the overall customer experience at this dual-function location.”
“Fantastic food in a great atmosphere, I wish more people would come here and enjoy. The service was super helpful and nice, but slightly slow when it got busy. I can't wait to come back and have some more tasty dishes!”

“Amazingly good food! My husband and I were in Norwalk, CT for a wedding and the following day we were looking for a "brunch" place before heading back to Middletown, CT. Did a Google search and saw the reviews for Herb's Place. While it wasn't the sit down we were thinking of, I'm really glad we went. The food was SO good! We'll definitely go back if we're ever in that area again.”

“We came from Maine for the Soundside music festival and stayed in Norwalk. We ate here twice while in town for the weekend! We left our credit card on accident the first night and they held it for us! We’d forgotten coffee creamer for our air BnB so we asked the bar tender if we could buy a cup of cream. He gave it to us! Melissa was our waitress and she was great! Super friendly and great service. Over all AMAZING food and service!!! If we ever travel to Norwalk again we will definitely be back for some grub!”
“Angela Topi took the time from her busy day and treated us to the most wonderful variety of delicious store baked delicacies including the scrumptious chocolate covered cream puff❤️ May I also add my husband (who cant tolerate gluten) has no issues with Wave Hills miche? “Excellent food! I picked up hot and sour soup, an egg roll and shrimp and broccoli today. The soup was excellent with a spicy kick. The egg roll was so crispy but not greasy. The jumbo shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was just right. The best I’ve had in a long time!”
“My family has been going to Los Poblanos for years. First when they had a restaurant and now the food truck. You can't keep them away. The owners are the sweetest and the food is delicious every time. Highly highly recommend them if you want truly authentic and amazing Mexican food.”
“Food was very good. Service was excellent. Disappointing was the salsa and chips. Very very cheap on the portion and the salsa is served in little plastic cups.”
“The owner Raul is an absolute treasure. You can taste and feel the passion he puts into the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Prices are surprisingly low for the freshness and quality. Highly recommend the empanadas and fish ceviche. 10 stars.”

“Last time I was in this building, it was Johns Diner; 30 years ago. The food was very good & tasty; portions were generous. The menus has quite a large and varied selection. The service was excellent. The owner who served us was very friendly. Parking was easy. Definitely coming back to try different things on the menu. Great meal!!”
“My best friend and I came to this restaurant for the first time, this evening. First of all, I want to thank Bhanu Oli and his staff for their hospitality and warm welcome. Our dinner included the Everest Pickled Mushrooms which were amazing. Once we bit into the first bite our tastebuds had a burst of happiness- they are flavorful and just plain delicious!!! . If you like mushrooms you will definitely love this dish. We both had the Mix Vegetable Tarkari( Nepali Style- Vegan), Khyber Parantha, the sweet and mango lassi and Moong Dal Halwa for dessert. Delicious and perfectly balanced food! Taste of Everest has a very nice, relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food and exceptionally warm service. We enjoyed everything, that we even bought a gift certificate, to give to another friend and we will definitely be going back. You definitely need to give Taste of Everest a try- you will not be disappointed.”

“I’ve been coming here for a while now, and I’ve got to say it never disappoints. The food is seriously amazing – every dish is packed with flavor and just hits the spot. Plus, the atmosphere is so chill and inviting, it feels like you’re catching up with friends even if you’re just there solo. Honestly, whenever I’m craving good food, this is the one place I know I can always count on.”

“Every time I’ve gone to pinstripes in the past, the food and service have been top notch! (Their food is soooo delicious!!) Now I will be having my wedding rehearsal dinner at Pinstripes, next week. Sal Murano, the event coordinator, has been so gracious and helpful and I can’t believe that his response time has been faster than fast - even though I’ve been calling him multiple times on his DAY OFF! I’m so excited for next week…I know everything will be amazing ❤️”
“90% of the time this place is on point, The best Chic file in 50 miles, food and customer service good, definitely way better than the one in Shelton, (Shelton I got food poison) better than onenear White Plains (they over cook, fry chicken and a little messy taking orders) better than one in Meriden, CT,”
