The building was immaculate in its cleanliness, the selection top of the line. “We had a wonderful dinner at Pontos last night. The food was exceptionally good with delicious, well-prepared dishes, and the service was outstanding; the staff was attentive and gracious. Although the exterior and location might seem a little sketchy at first glance, the area is safe and the restaurant's charming ambiance makes up for it. The drive to Norwalk was definitely worth it for such a quality dining experience. We were thoroughly impressed and will certainly make a point to visit Pontos again when we're in the area. “I just picked up dinner, Country Greek Shaved Lamb Bowl and Greek Hand Cut Fries. I had ordered online, and when I arrived to pick up, they cooked the fries so they'd be fresh and hot. I'll be able to stretch this bowl for 2, maybe three meals. LOVE this place. Thank you for your amazing service. I forgot to tip on the Toast app, and didn't have cash to tip when I picked up. “My brother ordered these Beef Birria tacos online all the way from Cali for me after a long day. (best bro ever Ik ik lol) Also this was one of the only places that was open late night in CT and this place did not disappoint me. This taco was the wrap up that I needed that night. I loved how juicy and warm it was when it arrived at my door step. The Birria had some meat in it as well and they gave some limes and extra onions and cilantro on the side. The food is extremely well priced, with large portions that could feed 2, and the food is absolutely superb. The best and most tender oxtail I’ve ever had by a mile, and some jerk chicken that changed my picky mother’s opinion on spicy food. The sides are delicious and plentiful as well, with great rice and peas, phenomenal Rasta pasta or creamy Mac n cheese, and generous pieces of fried plantain. simply superb and a well loved part of a rotation when I get home from work and want good quality food. Louis is a great and kind man who deserves all the customers in the world! He’s even got vegan options of almost anything on the menu, which I’ve never seen for a Caribbean place! “You know, I have been looking for a great place to get a burrito. Typically they are just rice and beans, and tend to be underwhelming. But at Taco Tequila, I was surprised. I went for lunch, and our waiter, also likely the owner, did a great job of explaning some of the menu and with some questions we had. I went with some wings (buffalo) and the burrito (against my better judgement). The wings were great. They were hot and cooked well, and flavored well. They may not have been the BEST wings I have had, but you wouldn't expect that at a place that specializes in tacos. The burrito was excellent, pastor with pineapple. It was large, with cheese, rice, beans, pico. The lunch special came with tortilla chips, and they laid out 4 sauces including sour cream on the table. The ranch option, green and red salsas were a nice addition to make the burrito even more amazing. It was a great burrito, and hit the spot. It was a nice option to have so close by, and I look forward to paying them another visit!“

“On a “ Foodie “ vacation, we came across Valencia Luncheria. We loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked through the door. Greated with a smile as soon as we came in, the staff was super accommodating.We asked for recommendations and ordered some combination plates to get a good variety. The food came promptly and was delicious. Everything we tried was incredible. The food was hot, a little spice and a very satisfying.I wish I saved room for dessert however the portions served for main course were very filling. “Every time I can , I love to stop at Rowaton Market, it is not only placed in a town I love, but also the Terrance has an amazing view of the water, the shore and the sunset.They have an amazing kitchen, with elaborate food to go, but also a market with an interesting selection and even better brands to choose from. Delish! For main dishes, my guest and I shared the Dan Dan Noodles and Dry Fry Beef. You have the option of including your desired level of heat – and I caution you to be careful. I appreciate a great hot dish, but chose “medium” heat – and it was PLENTY hot (I’m glad I didn’t go hotter). The Dan Dan Noodles were absolutely delicious – I took leftover home, kept thinking about them, and then ate the leftover noodles for dinner – and they were just as delicious. The Dry Fry Beef is flash fried to a perfect crisp and served with sticky rice, a perfect pair. This will be my new Chinese take-out favorite.“
