1 star off for atmosphere because there is no bench/table to sit at. It’s bright and colorful and clean which is key. There’s always that one customer who gets huffy because he/she was skipped in line. Chill, man! It’s ice cream.

“When my family and I came back from a day on the boat, we saw Cositas Ricas and decided to visit. Fresh fruit in ice cold drinks were exactly what we needed after swimming and sun. I tried their mangonada, a wonderful blend of sweet, tart, salt, and spice. We'll be back.“

The food we ordered for our school was amazingly delicious and the cake was absolutely excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care—every bite was satisfying and well-balanced. The presentation was beautiful, and the quality exceeded expectations.
The cake was the highlight: moist, rich, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. It’s the perfect Dominican cake. You can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients, and the texture was just right. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal.

“this is my favorite place in Norwalk, I come here all the time. I personally have never had a bad experience here. the staff has always been super sweet. I always get an affogato, it’s now my comfort dessert. i recommend this place to everyone i know. i’ve been to italy twice and this is the one gelato spot that actually feels like i’m back in italy. highly recommend!!“
