“I've tried both the chocolates and the ice cream, and both are absolutely delicious. When we heard they were out of peanut brittle, my friend was tearing up. That's how good it is. Plus the staff are really nice and helpful! And even the bathroom is clean, they really did a good job with this. I would definitely recommend this place!“

“I feel so bad for this place and the family that owns it because it’s a very good product but they are right next to Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shop which moved to this new location and has a very loyal local following. This place has no decor inside and only a couple tables. There are only 2 tables outside. Meanwhile Deborah Ann’s in like a nightclub in comparison with a high-end interior and just an all around better build-out. Their patio was packed! It’s just unfortunate because Gopher ice cream is very good but I will be surprised if they are around in a year.“

“Usually always go to Brewster Carvel out of convenience, stopped here today for two milk shakes. The gentleman there I noticed took such time and precision to make them. The difference in texture and taste from what I’m used to was outstanding!!! Best shakes I had in long time . And easy to suck through the straw w out giving urself a Fn’ migraine !“

“I've only tried 3 flavors, as I'm hooked on the Maine Black Bear ice cream. You can tell their ice cream has a high butterfat content. The black raspberry and choc. chip frozen yogurt is very good, but I'm hooked on the vanilla, raspberry swirl and choc. truffles you'll find in their Maine Black Bear ice cream. They don't skimp on portions or the toppings. I don't mind paying more because of the quality of their ice cream The soft serve is extremely creamy and smooth, best I've ever had. Forget your diet or counting calories when you visit.“

“Tasty gelato. Nice variety of flavors. Price is as expected for New Canaan.Staff were young, but attentive. Only has a few small tables inside. Seems primarily set up to have you take your treat and go. But they also serve coffee, espresso, americano, and a nice affogato, and will give you a proper cup if you tell them you are ‘eating in.’Note: Tips are cash only.“

“It's a booth type ice cream shop like ferris acre. I am not a huge peanut butter person so my husband ordered me something and got himself a peanut butter orea flavor. I ended up taking his ice cream and devoured it at the spot lol. Not overpowering peanut flavor. They also have a lot of unique flavors.“

Fall is a magical time of year.The wife and I found ourselves taking an afternoon juant on such a day through the one of the many old Colonial townships of Connecticut. We were upon Route 7, which runs quite a ways through Wilton, Ridgefield and up past Danbury, when we happened by chance upon this quaint little eatery. It would be easy to pass by and not give a second glance, save for the twenty-foot tall pink Ice Cream Cone that serves as a beacon for all passers-by. 'Stop here! Good Grub! Eat me!'Established in 1931 as a local ice creamery and grub-stop dive, Heibeck's has been scooping cones and flipping burgers for nearly 100 years. If that isn't testament to the quality of food their pushing out the back door, then I don't know what is!Yes. I said back door, because that's how they do it here. Guests order up front, but pick up in the rear. It's a smart system that helps to keep things moving along, and I soon understood why. On a rainy Saturday, this place was MOBBED. But why, I had to wonder - they serve fries and burgers and 'glizzy's (that would be Hot Dogs for those who don't know). What could be so special?...the Hot Dogs are outrageous. All beef, crisp, juicy, succulent. I could eat two or three without a problem. The Doe-Doe Dog is outstanding with its whole pickle rounds, mayonnaise and diced tomato. This is feel good food - what a 'happy' meal should feel like. The burgers ans fries looked top knotch, they even do some righteous looking tacos. It's the Hot Dogs though that appear to be the stars - having won 'Best Hot Dog in Connecticut' back in 2018, and I can see why.Then there's the ice cream, which is double churned and thick. Silky and velvety smooth. You MUST try the Apple Pie Ice Cream - there is no doubt in my mind that someone did a deal with the Devil to learn that recipe because this is what pure sin tastes like! Outrageous!Service was excellent - the staff are very friendly and genuinely seem happy to work at the stand, and the place is very, very clean.Apparently they are now open all season, meaning unlike other stands which only stay open from April/May until October/November, they are now open year-round. Very cool.If the wife and I find ourselves back in the area, we know exactly where to pop in for a pretty fantastic lunch. Brilliant!Vegetarian options: While they do have some vegetarian items, this is really a roadside dive doing burgers and dogs best. And I highly doubt they are vegan friendly either.Dietary restrictions: This is a roadside dive. Deep fried in all its glory.Parking: I can see the lot filling up quick.Kid-friendliness: Good for the kiddies.Wheelchair accessibility: It's outdoor dining. Accessible, though a little cramped.“

“Our first visit to crumbles in Danberry, nobody greeted us when we walked in, and the guy that came up to us from Service did not help us at all didn’t explain the process to us nothing. We did, however get a lot of help from a young girl, who was a customer. With that being said, the cookies are phenomenal, hands-down the best I’ve ever had. I also don’t particularly ever like icing, and their icing is delicious and fresh. I just placed our second order to be delivered. It was here in 15 minutes. Crazy love this place.“
