I stopped in to Bluebird on a weekday afternoon. I've heard about this place for a few years, and yet never had a chance to visit. They have a reputation for great ice cream and I was in an ice cream mood. The owner was lovely, and she explained about how she makes all of the ice cream herself, in the back of the store. Stopped by here on a Friday night. Rare to find an ice cream place nowadays where all the ice cream and cones are made in house. Charming and delicious: the Stumptown coffee ice cream was the most flavorful coffee ice cream I've ever tried! I'm not in Cross River often, but when I am, I'll be back!

What a gem of an ice cream parlor! The owner is as sweet and real as the ice cream. All homemade with nothing artificial. She's a retired school teacher, but still has the chalk board up and loves to see the art and messages left by happy customers! The unique flavors are one of a kind original and out of this world delicious! The coffee and baked goods are also bangin' ?
