“I came here with some friends and loved that they had dairy and gluten free options. I ended up going with the pineapple and berry flavor and it was good. The dairy free options and other allergen friendly options were labeled clearly so it was easy to tell which flavors were safe to eat. I also noticed that they had a large variety of toppings and sauces that were delicious. I ended up going mostly for the fruity options including the sour patch kids. It was delicious. I look forward to my next visit.“
“Who doesn’t love Carvel!? Five stars because I showed up last night at 9:55 (five minutes before they close) and they still served me! I’ve been to so many carvels that have done the opposite which is understandable and can be disappointing at times.The staff here is always friendly and helpful too.“
“I've tried both the chocolates and the ice cream, and both are absolutely delicious. When we heard they were out of peanut brittle, my friend was tearing up. That's how good it is. Plus the staff are really nice and helpful! And even the bathroom is clean, they really did a good job with this. I would definitely recommend this place!“
“Some friends took us here for a double date night! They are regulars there. The food was delicious! The owners seem like great people who care about their customers and what they need/want. We will definitely be going back! I wish I would’ve gotten a picture of our main meal, but this is the salad that came with it. We felt so fancy! The chicken Alfredo is delicious.“
“The macaroons are amazing. I highly recommend you get one. The bubble teas is good too. The Oreo bubble tea was nothing to boast about kinda just tast d like Oreos and milk. I’m used to more of a blend or a flavored boba. All in all the brown sugar diamond bubble tea was amazing. This is one of those spots that actually uses real tea, as opposed to just milk and powder. Very good I will be going back.“
“This is THE place my family and I go to for ice cream or lunch during the summer now! So many ice cream flavors that are so mouthwatering. And the sandwiches are perfect! The games and outdoor space they have is also wonderful because you can just sit and relax while having some ice cream or coffee. Hands down one of my favorite places in the area.“
“My wife and I stopped here in Oct 2021 on our way up to Connecticut after a 5 hour flight from Las Vegas to JFK and battling NYC traffic after getting the rental car. After a full day of traveling, she and I were both exhausted and hungry. The restaurant itself and the pizza were absolutely awesome. I only gave service 3 stars because they wouldn’t let my wife use the restroom. I can’t remember why. Overall, I’d come back. The pizza and the staff were both awesome. Nice little pitstop of you’re driving from JFK to CT“
“We attended my Aunty Barbara Westlake's funeral. We had one of your Westlake special cakes at the celebration. It's going to be on my list of all-time favorite cakes! “I went here for the first time to get food and milkshakes. The food was super tasty and filling. Both food & milkshakes were DELICIOUS. Lots of flavors and food options to pick from. I can't wait to come back during the summer and try their ice cream. Convenient location and friendly staff. We were the only ones in the store, which is a bonus. 10/10“
“I feel so bad for this place and the family that owns it because it’s a very good product but they are right next to Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shop which moved to this new location and has a very loyal local following. This place has no decor inside and only a couple tables. There are only 2 tables outside. Meanwhile Deborah Ann’s in like a nightclub in comparison with a high-end interior and just an all around better build-out. Their patio was packed! It’s just unfortunate because Gopher ice cream is very good but I will be surprised if they are around in a year.“
“This is hands down some of the best Italian ice you will ever have. Worth driving the half hour to get here, especially for those of us who are dairy free! Will definitely be coming back often. Lots of great flavors of both ice and ice cream“
“I always get bubble tea here, every single time I go to the Mall before it was so amazing and I think it's the best bubble tea spot in the area. But today the bubbles in my tea tasted very minerally kinda like rocks every time before it would taste like brown sugar with any flavor that I got. the drink was still good 10/10 but I had to spit out the bubbles because i couldn't take that taste in my mouth“
“Great food at great prices. A creative menu not normally found in Putnam County NY. Whatever I have ordered has been fresh and delicious. The portions are large and usually cant be finished in one sitting. Hamburgers are superb and not made from frozen meat. Salads are especially fantastic and great for lunch or diner. Soups are madefresh and dont taste commercial. This has become my go to eatery.“
“Food is delicious, service is a bit slow but it’s worth the wait I promise. Lots of yummy opinions and prices are good. They also have a buffet style service if you are in a hurry on you want something quick to go. Bread is yummy, they have conchas and a lot of sweet bread that you can get. Love that this is local and I can have a yummy cheap meal anytime.“
