“Great prices, good tasting and creative variety of burgers, salads, wraps, fries, milkshakes and more. Great spin on old school American diner. Not necessarily for the healthy inclined, even though there are a couple of options. I consider a must try. They have a burger for everyone’s taste buds.The only reason they didn’t get a 5 is that both times I went there, I asked for my burger to be medium, but both times it was pretty much well done for me and entire family. I’m wondering why they ask. Also, burger quality is good, not great, but it’s expected based on price. With that said, the taste was good and the creativity of the menu selection makes it a worthwhile affordably fun spot for burgers, fries and milkshake. Take out is also an option I’ve tried and is fine.If you’re looking for some fun options, go with the Marques Burger, either Buffalo or jalapeño fries and a snickers milkshake.“

“My wife and I stopped here in Oct 2021 on our way up to Connecticut after a 5 hour flight from Las Vegas to JFK and battling NYC traffic after getting the rental car. After a full day of traveling, she and I were both exhausted and hungry. The restaurant itself and the pizza were absolutely awesome. I only gave service 3 stars because they wouldn’t let my wife use the restroom. I can’t remember why. Overall, I’d come back. The pizza and the staff were both awesome. “I went here for the first time to get food and milkshakes. The food was super tasty and filling. Both food & milkshakes were DELICIOUS. Lots of flavors and food options to pick from. I can't wait to come back during the summer and try their ice cream. Convenient location and friendly staff. We were the only ones in the store, which is a bonus. 10/10“

“This place has been here for a while and yet I’m gonna call it a hidden gem! It’s tucked away into a small storefront with another shop and is worth you stopping if you need some cooking off.The big thing here is the homemade frozen custard…making it so much softer, smoother, and creamier than traditional ice cream. All the flavors you expect and a cute outdoor patio with tables and ample seating.They also make great take home desserts like ice cream cakes and pies which are amazing for a party or celebration.“

“Our favorite Carvel by far! The staff is wonderful, always helpful, patient and very accommodating to special requests! The service is great! The store is very clean and they serve quality ice cream and beautifully decorated cakes (they can make pretty much make any design/style you want). Another plus- convenient hours and location. The best ice cream shop around!“

“Great food at great prices. A creative menu not normally found in Putnam County NY. Whatever I have ordered has been fresh and delicious. The portions are large and usually cant be finished in one sitting. Hamburgers are superb and not made from frozen meat. Salads are especially fantastic and great for lunch or diner. Soups are madefresh and dont taste commercial. This has become my go to eatery.“

“Who doesn’t love Carvel!? Five stars because I showed up last night at 9:55 (five minutes before they close) and they still served me! I’ve been to so many carvels that have done the opposite which is understandable and can be disappointing at times.The staff here is always friendly and helpful too.“

“Really good cherry ices and chocolate custard. Love how they layer each so you get bites of both, which is so refreshing. While I still like Carvel more, this is a great option after shopping at Giuseppe's or going to a parade in town, and when you want something a little different.“
