“Honestly, I didn’t expect to have an experience like this in Stamford. My friends and I came to Teff not really knowing what to expect, and we ended up being genuinely impressed.

The Ethiopian and Eritrean food was full of flavor, the spices were on point, and everything felt fresh and beautifully presented. I especially loved the experience of sharing the food and eating it with injera — it made the whole dinner feel different from the usual restaurant experience.

The non-alcoholic ginger beer was also a really nice touch and went perfectly with the food. 🫚

Great food, great atmosphere, and a really unique experience. If you’ve never tried Ethiopian or Eritrean food before, I’d definitely recommend giving Teff a shot. I’m glad we found this place. 🇪🇹❤“

“My husband and I recently hosted our baby shower for our first baby at Flinder's last weekend (3/21/26), and we couldn't have been happier with the experience. We hosted roughly 55 people and utilized the entire restaurant for our private event (restaurant buyout). From the onset, Ross and Eric (Mgr. + Assistant Mgr.) were incredibly friendly, responsive to all my questions via email, and agreed to meet not once, but TWICE in-person to ensure all details were accounted for, and that our requests would be accommodated. The event ran smoothly because of their professionalism and attention to detail. During the event, the kitchen, bar, and wait staff were incredibly attentive, kind, friendly, and honestly felt like part of the party the entire time. Our family and friends raved about the entire experience, including the service, the food, and the configuration of the space. We left smiling from ear-to-ear, and are incredibly grateful to everyone at Flinder's for helping to make our baby shower a great success!“

“The food was so good I didn't even take pictures of it all. I had the Pho Bo Vien, Spring Rolls and we had the banana pudding dessert. Amanda our server was so nice, funny, professional and on top of everything. It was fast, quality food and you can tell it's all authentic with their own twist. The Pho broth was to die for. “I "cried" when my fave VEGAN or VEGETARIAN "GO-to" eat-in place closed all their locations around Boston. That was sadly & formerly GrainMaker .. (gone now) However DiG has grown on me as their deFACTO replacement for all FRESH VEGGIES and otherwise ALL FRESH MEAL VEGAN or VEGETERIAN eats and eat-in place! This is becoming my greatly reccomended "hidden vegan and veggie gem" in Boston with LOTS of locations. They have 3 locations thus far in Boston and 2 in Cambridge. I hav ONLY visited their downtown location thus far! Just as formerly with GrainMaker, DiG is as close to authentic home cooked! & genuinely HEALTHY! AND fresh meals that you can get to. Always fresh veggies, steamed & otherwise. --(they also serve a variety of proteins, as in variety of meats and fish, but i stay vegan. I have NEVER tried any of their meats or fish here.. ONLY their veggies and seasoned TOFU on occasion.. more oft than not, i do not even get their TOFU as a protein and opt to feast on JUST their steamed or boiled or baked veggies, bases. like rice and excellent mixed veggie salads sides!) Have been frequenting it for about 2 years since 2023 now, but held off on reviewing it until i was SURE of my experiences here. Decided to review it today bcs "it's time". I spoke to the very customer service oriented and responsibve supervisor here at this location, his name is DiJuan and was served by Adonis today and he was also very accommodating (after i explained i eat vegan) and on showing me my MANY fresh veggie choices, bases, proteins (including delish prepared Tofu) and PLENTY of heavenly veggie sides, all preped like you'd expect to find in a Thanksgiving grand day family meal. (AND they do this EVERY DAY!! ) This is HEALTHY eats and quite tasty and delish! See my posted pic w this review of my choice of eats today. In short, just today, i started with very little brown rice as my base and added 2 types of their fresh salad, Cannellini Beans w dill & greens along with their steamed or boiled Kale greens and added also a sweet potato that had been steamed & also steamed brocolli. I LUV eating fresh, healthy, TASTY and "homemade style" (as in NOT processed!!). I added their Garlic dressing to top it off. It came to something like 10+ bucks (B4 tax)! Unheard of !! for a BIG & FULLY portioned full veggie plate like this! BIG PORTION of a FULL PLATE! -- i declined, as usual to get any protein with my meal today, is why, STiLL i got a HUGE portioned plate! ( I normally HAVE2 order 2 - 3 separate orders and combine them, at HoneyGrow, anuther fave local "vegan" franchise in Boston, in order to get filled up if i'm only eating OMAD, as in One-meal-a-Day, in order to get full elsewhere usually!). They have a FAMILY (feeds4) option after 3pm every day that feeds 4-5 people (adults not kids) for like $43. QUITE A BARGAIN for something like this. AND it look like a Thankgiving day meal to top it off! --(formerly anuther non-vegan place "had this", now gone, called Boston Market. However they LOADED their side protions and even base meal with SO MUCH SALT, yuck! so that was ALL you could taste. THEY supposedly made home made, but found out NOT SO!!, theirs was loaded with processed sh*t, like their supposedly home-made mashed potatoes were the powder kind, loaded with pseudo milk and SALT, YUCK!!) NOT SO ! with this place.. DiG is 180 degrees fr tht.. This is truly GREAT tasting REAL and "home-prepped" veggies. They are winning me over from my other 2 "go-to's" "vegan-ish" franchises in Boston whcih have steadily been declining for various reasons, those being Bon-Me (their employees, over at Bon-Me for last 2-3 years it seems at ALL locations i have tried, simply do not undertsand nor speak english for the most part, their food WEN i can get it ordered the way i want it, is generally good, oft times its taken over 2 returned plates in order to get it prepared the way i orderd it.. v“

“I had an amazing experience at Chopt Creative Salad Co.! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. Everything tasted high quality, from the ingredients to the dressings, and the portions were great too. The restaurant was clean, organized, and the service was outstanding.

“I ordered Chicken Marsala and the chicken was raw. I did not notice until I'd already eaten a bit. I called the restaurant immediately and the man who answered had a very hard time believing that the chef who's been there for 30 years sent out raw chicken. I sent pictures to him. No reply. I am very sick today. I called the restaurant this morning and explained the situation again to a much nicer man who at least apologized and said he'd have a manager call me shortly when they got in. No manager has called. Nicks Pizza made me sick, refused to believe their chef sent me raw chicken...and I gave them plenty of time to make it right. With their lack of response or even care for this matter, I feel I now am left with no other choice but to post this review of my experience. I've been sick all day and have pictures of the pink/translucent chicken I ate from here to prove it. I am a long time customer however will never be back.“

“It was a Monday like a Sunday since it was a holiday. Quiet. I pass it every morning but never see a spot. Today easy peasy -there was no one on the road at 8:30 am. So I went in and did two things I would not ordinarily do. Ordered a delicious latte and a pastry!! The guy who took my order was sweet and had perfect recommendations. I wanted to sit inside but I didn’t want to be alone. I sat in my car and held the cup in my hands and inhaled the aroma while I thought to myself. Next time I’ll come with a friend. Next time I’ll let the Lorca feeling last a little longer. Next time.“

“Overall, we had a good experience at Kampei and I would definitely come back.

For the most part, the food was very good. Everything tasted fresh, had good flavor, and seemed like they use quality ingredients. We tried the bento box with teriyaki chicken and panko shrimp, which came with soup, rice, and fried vegetables. The whole bento box was really good and definitely something I would order again.

The chicken and broccoli was fantastic, which says a lot for me because I'm pretty particular about that dish. Chicken and broccoli can be very hit or miss depending on the restaurant, and this one was definitely a hit. The boneless ribs were probably one of the best things we ordered, and the pork fried rice was also very good.

The honey walnut shrimp was probably my least favorite. It wasn't bad, but I don't think I would order it again. The sauce was a little heavy and I didn't really get much honey flavor from it. It tasted more savory than sweet, almost like a sweet BBQ-style sauce with walnuts.

The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, but it is pretty small. It's more like a small, cozy restaurant than your typical Chinese takeout place. There are only a handful of tables and a few booths, so if you're coming with kids like we did, just keep in mind that sound travels and everyone can pretty much hear everyone. 😂

Service was good overall. The woman at the front was very nice and welcoming, and our server was okay.

Would I give it a perfect 5 stars? No. But would I go back? Absolutely. The good definitely outweighed the things I didn't love, and there are several dishes I'd come back for.

I gave it 4 stars overall, mostly because the food was very good. For atmosphere, I went with 3 stars. I probably would have given it a 4, but the space is a little tighter than I personally like. It's not so small that it's uncomfortable, though, just a bit more compact than I prefer. If you're dining alone or with just two or three people, you may not even notice the size as much. We were there as a family with kids, so the space felt a little tighter for us.

If you're in the area, Kampei is definitely worth trying.
