Vegan Restaurants near Bayville

“Made a reservation here for restaurant week. Apparently didn't need one. The place has its own parking lot with about a dozen spots. We entered the building which took us into the bar, which was bustling. The dining room was quaint, with some really nice booths and a fireplace that should have been lit. Our server was a good looking young man, pleasant, not overbearing with a sense of humor. We opted to include an additional appetizer of baked clams to our meal, along with the crab cake and winter salad, which I forgot to take photos of. My friend opted for the lamb chops while I had the branzino piccata. Yummy, although the menu never stated that the fish was served over a shrimp risotto. (I'm allergic to shrimp). Only 1 bone in the fish, so I was lucky. Our dessert consisted of tiramisu and rainbow cookie cheesecake. I was "fortunate" to get the last piece although not very cheesecake-y. All in all we had a nice dinner and will maybe return for another meal.“

“Many tend to flock to the village of Bayville for its restaurants and bars on the water and beautiful sunsets. Let me give you a proper suggestion: eat here, have a drink or two and then enjoy another drink and the sound view elsewhere. The diversity of the menu and the quality of the food with its unique taste cannot be beat by any place in this town by far. The drinks are great as well. Despite its location away from the water, it is typically packed especially on weekends so have patience when visiting. From my own observation it seems to be mostly local regular customers, who probably have a laugh at those visiting the ‘tourist’ spots for dinner expecting a great meal. As someone who has visited this town often and tried much of what there is to offer, this is what I would call Bayville’s best - grandma’s cooking, if you will. Give them a try.“

“I’ve been wanting to try this place, we didn’t get a seat at the table but we got seats at the bar which was the same and quick. The food came out quick. “Kerber's is an adorable, idyllic farm stand in the middle of Huntington. Everything I've ever had from there is delicious! The eggs on a biscuit is delightful as is or even more decadent with cheese and bacon added. The carrot farm muffin blew me away! (I am admittedly a huge carrot muffin fan). I have always been helped relatively quickly and the food comes out in a timely manner. I recommend to locals or visitors! I look forward to trying a class there at some point“

“Four of us went for HVRW dinner and the food was awesome. For starters we had the eggplant meatball, crab croquette and salad. Loved them all. Dinner was salmon, lamb and paella Palomino, which is my husband's favorite. Lovely service. Dessert was the flourless chocolate cake. Cant wait to return!!“

“They have been around for a long time and continuously excellent for food and service. The noise remains due to acoustics so I turned my hearing aid lower and you get used to it The prices are fair considering Bidenomics, and they show their class by not charging for the use of Credit Cards. “Quick, attentive service and an extensive menu. So hard to choose which dishes to try first! Outdoor dining is well lit and looks cozy but actually fits many tables and configurations for parties of all sizes. Saw outdoor tables for two and tables for up to 10 while we were there. We’re lucky we went early and got a table immediately. Make a reservation though Bc they seem to fill up fast. Also, live music started around 7pm on a Saturday!“

The brisket had great flavor, though next time I'll ask for leaner pieces as mine was fatty. Sweet potatoes were just right, not too sweet. Cornbread just ok. Things to know: 1. This place is tiny. There are just 4 bar seats and that's it. 2. Beverage options limited. Coke, sprite, water. 3. The service is amazingly friendly and personable. I didn't get the woman's name behind the counter but I'd go back there just to hang out with her. And it wasn't just me, she was that way with every customer including a 4 year old. You don't need to travel to come here but it's a good stop if you are nearby. Just 2 blocks off the Locust Valley train station.“

“My first time here and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh, flavorful and cooked perfectly. We had the vegetarian meatballs, zucchini chips, grilled chicken sticks, grilled lamb sticks and more. I loved the atmosphere. My sister is gluten free and there were so many options for her (including a separate fryer to insure no allergy). You must try this place!Dietary restrictions: They have a separate fryer for gluten free fries, etc. All their food is labeled as gluten free on the menu with so many options.“

“Honestly, I went to this place two weekends in a row and was pleasantly surprised with how yummy it was. I love that I was able to order everything on lettuce wraps. Kung Pow chicken spicy, caramelized Brussels sprouts, and Vietnamese shrimp were among my favorites. I honestly wouldn’t recommend ordering the salsa here. It’s a little affected. One of my friends mentioned that it looked like alla-vodka sauce, and I agree he wasn’t wrong.“

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Huntington now :blush:. Owners allowed us to bring our own décor. The food was fantastic and no matter what we ordered we were delighted with our meal! Servers were well-meaning but somewhat disorganized (for instance, they took our drink and food orders on their tablets but the drink order never made it to, or was ignored by the owner who doubled as the bartender; I had to tell him we'd placed our drink orders as he was walking around the tables, he then asked me what we wanted.
