This chef is a mushroom magician creating comfort foods from mushroom and chickpeas. The best part about his food. It’s CLEAN whole food vegan eating. No soy, No seitan which my body does not do good with. So our hats go off to the chef and we highly recommend!“

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

For the appetizer we had tofu (crunchy and soft!) with peanut sauce, tom yum hot pot for the entire table, mango salad with salmon, green curry (which came in a cute little pot), and tom kha coconut milk soup with chicken for myself. Our entire meal was so filling and comforting. The drinks and desserts looked extremely good on the menu, but pricy for us. I would say that everything we ordered was worth the bill, though! They have some outdoor seating with shade, which I’m sure is very nice in mild weather, but the inside was so vibrant and cozy, full of colors and music. I am definitely coming here again!“

“I received delivery at home on numerous occasions via TOAST. I am working my way through the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The way you are able to customize your gourmet vegan meal is very appealing. The desserts are exceptional, don't pass them up, I haven’t! This hade resulted in trying nearly all of them. Though i am not fond of eating out, i rarely cook and Le Botaniste is gladly to blame. Don't take my word for, try it!“

“Whenever I had a craving for south indian food in long island, I used to frequent Taste of Chennai, i.e. until I discovered this place Village - The Soul of India. This is by far the best south indian restaurant in long island. Their pani puris are killer. The dosas, idlis chutneys and sambars reminded me of what I had tasted back in India. Everything tasted fresh too. The service was good and prompt. We were lucky to get in right before the dinner rush hour where we saw large groups having to wait for a table.

For those who are not familiar with south indian food: their menu is either completely vegetarian (as in this case) or largely vegetarian and 100's of options to choose from.

She explained how the rewards worked, showed me how to redeem them, and also was kind enough to ask if the ingredients were ok for our order which was extremely helpful because many of us have allergies or dietary restrictions. She was extremely kind and profesional in every sense of the word.
