“I went with two friends; we'd all been here before. As usual, the food was extraordinary, delicious, creative,and with good choices. The staff were friendly and professional. The ambience was great- perfectly restored Victorian mansionette situated on a quaint duck pond in an historic Long Island town. Perfect for dates, having fun with friends and dinner with family.“

“We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

“What an amazing place to shop local grown produce and sit outside with a blueberry cookie & coffee.
This morning my wife and I drove from Bayside on the hunt for a morning peace and landed on this place just 15 minutes away.
It was well worth it, this farm deserves a 5+ start and staff is top notch, including the kind lady that made my coffee, I gave her a tip as she smiled and refused by saying that our patronage is their reward.

Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! “A nice, quaint bakery in the heart of the business district in Garden City, featuring delicious foods and eye pleasing desserts. The staff is very friendly and cheerful, ready to greet you when you come up to order.

We came here to check out the menu since my son has food allergies, so if you have a family member / friend that has food allergies, you should check this place out. If you happen to speak to Julia, she is very well informed on all the different food options and allergies. There is a binder behind the counter that details all the ingredients used, so it’s peace of mind for any parent that is concerned on what their allergy child can have. I highly recommend checking out the bakery for all your food allergy concerns.

If you wanted to do a sit down meal, there is seating both inside and outside the location, and if you’re reading the reviews about the air conditioning, it has been fixed and fully functional at this time.

“As a former executive chef, and hospitality professional I’ve learned to manage expectations in fast casual restaurants. Well, to my surprise, Burger Village exceeded all expectations . Arriving for a movie 90 minutes early gave us time to find a place to eat. I had reviewed the few options and Burger Villages natural menu seemed like a great choice. We were greeted (by one of the owners) and promptly met with a smiling server. Drinks, yes. Natural coke, iced tea. Then dinner. One turkey burger with sweet potato fries and one specialty burger with their house sauce and my favorite waffle fries. Both arrived hot and the burger juicy. Both cooked exactly as requested. My medium rare was perfect. Unfortunately, I didn’t anticipate the “heat” or spice of the sauce. Pria, the owner asked if everything was okay. This was a good sign. I mentioned the heat and she insisted on remaking the burger without the sauce asap. She said - “I want you to have a great experience “ wow - in all my years of coaching hospitality professionals I rarely saw this level of care and concern flow so organically. “This restaurant doesn't follow the crowd. We only sampled a small portion, which was satisfactory. Though compact, this place commands attention. The personnel provided rapid assistance with proper respect. I feel lucky to have visited this place!“

“Been eating Eddies pizza for over three decades now! The pizza still tastes the same as it did all those years ago. It brings me back to sitting in my grandma and Grandpa's kitchen...Eddies had a location in Syosset where my grandparents lived and we used to get it when visiting them. The thin crust is absolutely delicious...my only complaint is that a pie never lasts long enough in my house 😋“
