“We had my son’s bar mitzvah at Vienna and it was the most wonderful experience from beginning to end. Matt, Chris, Dina and their entire staff made this feel effortless and when the day came, we were guests at our own party. There are not enough good things I can say- helpful, positive energy, attention to detail, enthusiasm, passionate- all of those characteristics shown through at our party and everyone there felt all of that positive energy.”

Our guests raved about the food - how fresh, plentiful and delicious everything was. We had several guests with dietary needs (peanut allergy, vegetarian) and Pam helped us craft a menu to accommodate our guests. The team for the day (Sean, Jon, and Natalya) were so attentive and we appreciate the staff and everyone behind the scenes that made the afternoon a lovely memory for our family and guests. “I bought an apple tort for a New Years Eve family gathering and was very happy! The apple filling was lightly cinnamon and light without too much sugar and no jelled apple. The topping was neatly sliced apples brushed with a small layer of apple jelly. The crust was the short bread variety. Only $30. I was traveling and didn’t have time to bake so this light but tasty dessert was perfect! Worth visiting for hostess gifts! Nicely wrapped cookies, brownies, quick breads are sold there, too!”

“We recently had Colbeh cater our son’s first birthday Barbecue in our backyard. They did such an amazing job from beginning to end. They provided top notch service, delicious food , and set up and broke down without us lifting a finger.. I highly recommend Colbeh for any event!!!”

“We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at Kyma and it did not disappoint! It was more than just dining- it was a whole experience! The service was phenomenal as was the foo, from the appetizers to the dessert. We ordered the Agean special. The watermelon salad was one of my favorites! After the meal, they brought us two beautifully prepared desserts. And then before we left, the manager spent time talking to us and getting to know us on a more personal level. It was really special evening and I highly recommend Kyma!”

“For a simple snack place by a pool, it has good price and decent food. Staff are really friendly. They can bring your food to the table as well. Even with half of the ice cream options unavailable, there were still many varieties to choose from.”

“I recently bought the Earl Grey Tea and Berry Cornbread at my local Kroger store and was blown away! The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. I’ll definitely be trying other flavors.”

“The absolute best!!! Brings a cute Brooklyn coffee shop vibe to Roslyn - something that is so unique and special for the area!! The coffee is amazing and the vibes are 10/10. The owners are always there giving such a personal caring touch to every order and the atmosphere. It is our go to spot.”

“I go to Diane’s all the time for coffee and baked goods, at least once a week. I invited new moms and dads from the Roslyn school today for a gathering at Diane’s this morning to support local business. We had about 12 people. Sat outside at the patio where the shaded area was. Everybody all bought coffee and pastries. We arranged the tables and chairs in a long row so we could see each other. Later we were told by Diane, the owner, that she wasn’t happy that we rearranged her tables and sat together in a row. Why? The place wasn’t crowded with other guests. We all bought and paid for goods. I couldn’t help but thinking that because we were all Asians?! She could ask us kindly to put the tables and chairs back once we finish, which we did without being asked at the end. But with the unwelcoming remarks I will never come to support this business again. I don’t say this lightly but I felt it was discrimination in every way. I’m truly disappointed. I love Diane’s and the yummy treats but the owner was truly unkind. I share this post here because I don’t think this business supports diversity, which is a shame because this community is becoming more and more diversified.”

“We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.”
