The ahi tuna main course had great flavor and phenomenal texture wise. My little brother enjoyed his steak and seasoned shoestring fries. My mom loved her snapper special. Desserts were also great; gelato was nice and creamy.”

“I've been hearing about Diane's for the longest time and finally gave it a try a few months ago. I went back again recently for lunch. I wasn't disappointed either time... it's located in a convenient location elite parking, the staff was helpful, and the peach muffin I ordered to go was amazing! You can take but they also have limited seating. The store front sells their homemade goodies, and the rear has salads and sandwiches. From the outside it looks like an old-fashioned house and the inside is very quaint. Can't wait to return again soon!”
“We had a fabulous dinner at Trattoria Diane's celebrating our daughter's 38th birthday. I had messaged Diane's via Open Table that this was a birthday celebration and received a reply from Jimmy saying he would take care of everything. We had a choice of a dining areas when we arrived and we selected a table in the corner on the quieter second floor. We had three appetizers: the figs, zucchini blossoms and frito misto. They were amazing. Our entrees included the short ribs (the best- no knife needed!!), lamb chops (for our 3 1/2 year old grandson - he loved them), pot roast and monkfish. Everything was outstanding. Diane's did a very nice job of bringing her dessert with candle to the table allowing us to sing Happy Birthday to our daughter. It was very special. For dessert we had the pecan pie, apple tart, panna cotta and the affogato (which was out of this world). All the desserts at Diane's are beyond delicious. After moving from Long Island years ago we returned to celebrate our daughter's birthday and we are glad we did. We definitely will be coming back again!”
“The steak was great. But the lamb chops tasted very gamey and lacked seasoning that we couldn’t eat at all. Mashed potato was too mushy for my taste. Fries are really delicious. Fried calamari is mediocre. The waiter was very attentive checking on us every so often regardless the restaurant was extremely busy and crowded.”

The food is prepared to perfection. Everything is tasty and delicious. The ambience created by the recent renovations is even more welcoming than it used to be. The owners, managers and staff are very honest, considerate and accommodating. Last, but not least, their prices are very competitive and affordable. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We recently hosted a family event for approximately 40 people there, and everybody was extremely satisfied. It’s a perfect place for a date night or a big family gathering.”

“I hosted a business dinner at Limani. There were four of us. Two of us were colleagues, and we emphasized that to avoid any confusion. Two were retirees -- one when asked what kept him busy answered that at his age it was enough to make it through the day. That couple, married, had selected the venue based on proximity to their home, it corresponding to his nation of origin (he came by ship as a student), and the quality. I am glad I deferred to their judgment. I would be glad to go again, though the truth is I am not often in the neighborhood. Our guest of honor selected several small dishes to share. The octopus was tender. That dish is not always as delectably soft. The zucchini chips were battered delicately. They were the best such item I have ever sampled. There were spreads with pita bread. My main dish was tuna with spinach. They have fresh fish laid out on ice. I love to see the sparkle of scales and the brilliance of the eyes. The preparation was by someone with a deft touch in timing the doneness and sprinkling on a modicum of sesame seeds. The side of spinach was exceptionally fresh. It was sautéed so as not to pass into limpness or to be too wet. I would register a minor disappointment. At Greek establishments, I look for retsina. Its distinctive flavor is caused by sealing amphorae with pine resin. That practice is not necessary, but it continues in order to impart the off taste. The "balsamic aroma" Is an acquired taste. I took to it without any cajoling, as an aficionado of stronger relishes. I had enough leftovers, since I was given the starters, for two meals. I don't know why some people eschew leftovers. They are a pleasure. They also are economical and environmentally beneficial. I suppose some worry about germs. I have never had an issue. The ambiance was upscale without being extravagant. The service was impeccable. It was not raucous. It was just lively enough to suit a party that was more mature.”

And it was fix in a snap. Expected service from this place! And I normally have high expectations! Waiting for my next trip to see how would they exceed! But recommended for a consistently good food.”
