“This restaurant is not only gorgeous, but very tasty as well. It’s located inside the Old Westbury Gardens so the cafe is surrounded by old growth forests and the worlds most beautiful plants. The cafe has a selection of pastries, sandwiches, salads, drinks, and desserts to choose from. They are a little on the pricy side, but completely worth it for their quality. The ingredients are ridiculously fresh and well balanced, nothing in the dish is out of place. The drinks are cold, refreshing, and handmade, but probably too tart for children or those with a sweet tooth (I thought it was perfect for the hot weather though). The staff is kind and has plenty of recommendations, they even saved the bag I accidentally left and placed it behind the counter for safe keeping. Overall, this place is a must stop if you’re in the garden and it’s worth coming into the garden even just to eat. I will definitely be coming back here again.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were not an oversight at all, they were well thought out and just as complete as the rest of the menu.”
“Food is excellent every time however the portion sizes are ridiculous. If you’re charging $17 for a bowl I expect more than half a spoon of rice. The workers behind the counter are almost always oblivious and are not usually friendly. It’s a shame since the food is so good and this can easily be a 5 star spot.”
“The drinks and service are amazing. It's even a really good place to sit and work as they have outlets under the bench and it's nice and quiet. Definitely recommend it.”
“Very high quality food. This is not your regular China town dim sum if you're looking for that ( it is fancier dim sum) Very clean environment. A bit pricy but well worth it. Every dish was delicious.”
““Pierogis for lunch?” “Yes, mam.” That’s a real interaction my wife and I had today. I thought she meant she’d heat some frozen PBoyz up but no, she wanted to go a pierogi specialty restaurant. I didn’t know how it would be but I ate there with her. It’s good! I got the pierogis and a kielbasa. Very good! Don’t go for the extra sour cream as you won’t need it. We’ll come back - and when we do, we’ll see you there I bet. Bc if you got this far, why wouldn’t you just drive over and check it out?”
“Food is delicious and great size portions. The service is excellent. Erdom and Aziz were so kind and helpful. The atmosphere is quiet and lovely. Very clean and bright. Went a week ago and returned a few days later because my 1st experience was so great. Marion”
“Our daily dose of bubble Tea!!!! Literally!!! They make the most beautiful delicious drinks. The most friendliest and caring owners you’ll ever meet, they go above and beyond. This is our favorite go to from now on. With Love the Derm Girls :)”
“I wanted to know if this would live up to it's high rating so decided to give it a try. I went on a Wednesday at 11:30am. There is parking across the street, behind the building. It's municipal 1 hour free parking. There is metered 2 hour parking in the front. While we were there, we were the only dine in customers. They were doing a lot of take out. We had the dumplings and the ramen. There was a lot of ramen. The pork was tender and juicy. The egg was creamy and not at all salty. The broth was the star. It was flavorful but not salty. It had depth. I could do with less oil but that's a tiny complaint. It lived up to the hype.Parking: Free one hour parking across the street. Metered two hour parking in the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Tight but doable.”
“This place is the best. Best tender meat and great flavor. chicken barg and beef barg are great. The rest of the meat types are also good. The white sauce and green sauce are top notch. This is my favorite restaurant in the US.”
“Food is soooo good. Staff are all very sweet especially Sarah H. She made sure that we were well taken care of. It was such a cute place. ?would highly recommend ?.”
“Amazing banquet hall! Great ambience, very clean very friendly environment, very fancy, owner was very nice and accommodating. Tasty food, tasty chai, would come back for sure. A+++”
“The atmosphere here at Mojo is awesome! Had such a great time tonight, great night plus amazing FOOD! Highly recommend the salmon!! Our server Cinaya was great! very nice and attentive.”
“We held a private event for about 25 people last weekend in the upstairs space at Two25 and I could not have been more pleased! Leading up to our event, Andrea was very helpful and responsive, and the rest of the staff was just as incredible day-of. They were attentive to us and our guests (adults and children alike), regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well and everyone had what they needed. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was fantastic. It was the perfect place for our event, and we'll absolutely be back next time we're in the area!”
“Love this place! Our favorite seafood place for the past 34 years!Parking: The parking stinks always has. Valet is okay, didn't use. They were busy. We had to park across Wantagh Avenue, in front of residential property.”
“Birthday dinner for my husband! Our first time dining here! Amanda, our server was outstanding! She gave recommendations that were superb. We ordered from the Lenten menu the shrimp pappardelle and the scallop risotto. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful. Service was on point, friendly and professional. Sam, a manager, greeted us at the table to make sure we had everything we needed. Birthday dessert was on the house and delicious. I would highly recommend The Harrison!”
“our family was there on 5 March. we had the party room. the place is very pleasant. However, the food and especially the service was outstanding. the two young people who waited on us were beyond reproach. Thanks you Voodoo Crab!Parking: there is street parking available, and there is a municipal lot behind the property.Kid-friendliness: my daughter had a Shiley Temple in the same pouch the grown ups had their drinks. she really enjoyed that small detail.”
“This Sunday afternoon was my first time there and it was almost my last because the man who seated us was cold, unfriendly, unwelcoming, and even went so far as to make a rude comment while seating us. Thank Goodness for Clay our server. I will return so long as I am seated in his section. He was immediately friendly…he was extremely knowledgeable about the food & assisted myself and my guest with cooking our different meats. He was positive and upbeat despite his back injury and a job where he is on his feet all day. As I ate my food, I observed Clay giving the exact same level of exceptional service to each of his tables. I am impressed by his enthusiasm and I hope that his employers recognize his hard work, his attitude, as well as his warm & welcoming nature. Perhaps you could have Clay coach the other servers on your staff about customer service and overall basic human decency.”
“Appetizer was good. However, didn’t really enjoy the Dosa personally. Lemon Soda was just not refreshing personally. I would like to visit again to try out the other items from their menu.”
“This place is outstanding. All the way from the atmosphere, to the nice people at the desk who bring you to your table, and our waiter - Bryan. Bryan checked on my uncle and I at least 5 times in just 1 hour. Very classy restaurant. I certainly felt underdressed. I will definitely be back! Thanks Bryan, and to my uncle to took me for a beautiful Easter dinnerParking: Depending on the day, the parking lot at this place can be very busy. However, it is well worth it.”
“Came to casa on a Friday night for dinner with a group of friends, love the fact they had a dj on Friday playing great music, so the night started good, all the food was great , the shrimp and garlic sauce was the winner, and they have a great drinks, thank you Isabella for taking care of my group!! Love it..”
“Ordered takeout for a Thursday night dinner for my family and everyone was very happy. I had the steak dinner which was phenomenal. I also took a small taste of the cod and salmon. FRESH and DELISH. All of it. Meatballs, sausage, broccoli, white clam pasta- all were top grade delicious. Chef Joe was at the bar when I came to pick up the food. I could tell he really cares about his food quality/restaurant. Amazing what you can do with food. Fantastic food and experience. I'm a fan.”
“Finally! A good quality Kosher dairy restaurant in greatneck! Although it’s called Dagim they have way more non fish options than you’d think a restaurant specializing in delicious sushi and fish would have. Everything was amazing. I never had fish that fresh in my life. Service was good the ambiance made you feel like you were dining somewhere in Manhattan. Definitely will be coming back to Dagim!!!Vegetarian options: They had great pastas to choose from, the appetizers and salads were greatKid-friendliness: I had to bring my baby, although we were a small group, they made sure to give us a table big enough where a stroller would fit and we would still be able to dine comfortably”
“It’s the best bowl of pasta you can get. I’ve been here 5 times in the past year. All the pastas are handmade, even the GF! Every pasta is done so well! Service is great, and if you like a little spice order the Calamari Arrabiata yum!!!!!!!!!!!”
“Would 100% recommend this restaurant!! My first time going and it’s was amazing. They are very polite and always checking to see how you’re doing, love it. The food!!! Absolutely delicious! Will most definitely be going back. ?”
“We had an amazing lunch today. They have great service with home style food. We had Chan’s Bhatia’s fabfbtandiiorub were very tender.Kawal, the owner was very warm and welcomed us with open arms. We will definitely go back. Lychee Lassi and masala tea was too good. Lllllllgg”
“(Edited my og review because it was poorly written and rushed.)So there I was, on a spontaneous adventure, when suddenly, BAM! Google throws me a curveball - "Nutella Empanada." You bet I was intrigued. It was like the universe daring me, "Bet, let's go."Stumble into this place, and it's like I've walked into the heart of the local scene. This guy, just oozing neighborhood vibes, hits me with, "You're not from around here, huh? Welcome to the best Italian spot in town." And he didn't stop there - gave me the lowdown on all the hidden gems nearby. This dude was living and breathing local charm, and I was here for it. The lobby? Packed with the coolest cats you could meet.Turns out, snagging a table at this joint is usually like finding a unicorn - pretty darn rare. But guess what? They worked some magic and got us in... into an outdoor igloo, no less! Yeah, you read that right. An igloo! (Peep the pics for proof - it's as rad as it sounds.)Now, let's talk food. Holy smokes, it's delish. The staff? Angels in disguise, I swear. Super friendly, on-point, and ready to make your experience top-notch.Oh, and if you see anything with Vodka sauce on the menu, just do yourself a favor and order it. It's a solid 10/10. Trust. All in all, this spot isn't just a restaurant; it's a local legend. Do yourself a favor and drop by. You won't regret it.”
“Of course I loved my March Special Philly with Mushrooms. Today, my mom arrived from India at JFK and I decided to introduce her to American Vegan food :) She said, "chaalaa baagundi ", which means very good, a high compliment! One of the greatest treats about visiting India is food (colors and live dance musicals are another); there's a ton of plant-based eats but the vegan food has some ways to go.”
“I love the interior of this shop. It is so exciting and stylish. I love the private stalls as well. The ramen was surprisingly good. We went there just to grab something between a soccer game and a violin lesson with my son. I did not expect much thinking this is another Chinese ramen place, but ramen here was surprisingly above my expectation. It is not special, but it tastes like a regular ramen in Japan. My son had the combination ramen (you can enjoy two different tastes), a bun, and a tea. He was satisfied as well. I will go back if I have a chance.”
“Food is great! Already been there a few times with my boyfriend. Definitely becoming one of our favorite places to go. We keep forgetting to take pictures of our food though ?. The hippie chicken is the best thing on their menu in my opinion. The owner John( I think that’s his name, I’m terrible with names though) is very nice, approachable, knowledgeable.”
“I ordered something pretty basic on the menu which was the "Cheeseburger Deluxe" medium temperature, and you know something it was absofreakinlutly delicious cooked to perfection Char-Broil flavor the lettuce and tomato and the onion ring and the pickle all fresh... The coleslaw was extremely disappointing very bland they use white cabbage which had no flavor whatsoever...I make coleslaw for a living and I use green cabbage always... I will go there again and again to go get a wonderful meal..?”
