“In a quest to find “REAL “ whitefish salad, I followed a friend’s suggestion and tried Cafe 17A. Amazing! This past weekend I tried several other salads- Vegetable Tuna, Chicken Salad, Egg whites and spinach, Egg salad and mushrooms and of course sliced Nova and home made cream cheeses. My guests raved! Everything is fresh, and homemade with Love by Scott, the owner. Thanks Scott, - can’t wait to return- You’ve definitely nailed it”

“This bakery is AMAZING!! I called them in a panic because this was something my daughter REALLY wanted and didn’t order it in advance. The woman who answered the phone put aside a cake for me (basic rainbow without college name) and when I picked it up, she had changed it to the colors of LIU and had the college initials on it as well. Thank you! Thank you!”

“Just stopped in today to try some of their breads like the olive loaf. The lady behind the counter saw my kids and said they have to try the cookies. So I bought one for them to share. I’ve never had a Chocolate chip cookie like this. It’s amazing. Needless to say I bought three more to take home. Awesome staff and delicious food.”

“I really appreciate the service at this store it was very quick and efficient. The manager was especially patient and helpful.
I ordered three sandwiches, six coffees, and six donuts. Since all the coffees were different, I thought there might be confusion, but she explained everything clearly and labeled each one perfectly. I also didn’t have much idea about the donuts, but she guided me and helped me choose six. They were all fresh and tasted really good.
