Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.”

“This was my first soul food experience, and I wouldn’t want it ANY other way! Crystal and her sons were lovely!! Spoke to us a while as we waited for our meal. Packed our dishes up high! Fish and meat were extremely tender and well seasoned, sides were all excellent (we got to try a little bit of everything) and the banana pudding had me looking at apartments in their area. Literally plotting for the next time we can get out to Westbury to have this food.”

“I’m originally from Long Island and was visiting staying at a hotel nearby. This place is hands down is the best Chinese Food ever! Their wonton soup is big and doughy! Other places make them light which I’m not crazy about. Everything here otherwise is excellent and the staff are very nice. We hadn’t delivered to our hotel and it didn’t take long. Highly recommend this place! Worth the price for what you pay for definitely for four people!”

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!”

“We had a great experience at El Mercadito! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented with vibrant colors. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.

The portion sizes were excellent, giving great value for the price. Everything we ordered was full of flavor, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommend El Mercadito if you’re looking for amazing food and outstanding service!

My only feedback is that there is just one restroom shared by both men and women. The restroom was very clean, but personally, I would have preferred separate restrooms.”

“I love this place! however my last visit was just mediocre, which was disappointing since I rave about this place and finally brought my parents to try. The fries were soggy, and my parents food was just slightly warm. The waitress Sofia gave my daughter a free ice cream scoop coin which was nice but then we were charged for the ice cream! Also they did away with the gouda fries which were amazing!! they need to bring them back asap! I hate when restaurants take things off their menus that so many people love.”

“Not your everyday takeout. So much better bc they use fresher ingredients, quality cuts of protein, and tastier recipes. I love their scallion pancakes, dumplings, and most of all thin all white meat chicken in the sesame chicken. They are even fast and friendly. I always stop by when I’m in the area!”

“OMG Tasty House serves some of the best food I've ever tried, I've never had Vietnamese before, I'm such a fan now. The seating area is small and quaint, but the atmosphere is welcoming. Manna our hostess was friendly and helpful. She answered every question and explained the menu items and specials. I had Pho Special and my wife the Curry Chicken, we also tried the scallion pancakes and delicious mango milk tea. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much!!”

“cozy!! i wanted to visit here ever since it opened but i never had the time tbh. but!! i got my bro to drive me!! yes!!! parking is kinda weird bc Costco is right in the same area, and there's always mad ppl, so kinda tricky to find great parking. and lowkey if you want a drink, it's crazy, like $12 for a 32 fl oz of matcha is insane? like i got it bc it seemed like a deal but Jesus, it's huge, like just an obscene amount of matcha. but the texture was smooth and it was good matcha overall. the food was super yummy as well, the meat was really well seasoned and the broth was flavorful tbh. the gyozas were worth it as well, i loveee good gyozas like the crunch is so satisfying, overall so good. shout out to the random Cantonese ppl ordering next to us with the little kid running around, i found them so silly”

Yesterday, late at night we were looking for options for dinner and wanted a break from regular bowl meals we takeout. I had seen this place many a times while passing by and read reviews on google. I don’t know why I took so long to visit it. I absolutely loved the flavors, took a Zeus bowl and chicken skewers. It was nicely seasoned and most importantly cooked well. Owners are friendly. I would say it’s easy to miss this place, but do not miss it. Give it a try. ‘Cause I will be going again for some gyros 😊”
