“Celebrating my wife's bday with family, at her request to try Small Batch for a late Sunday lunch. Menu had enough choices to appease our group's foodie cravings. Among the drinks, appetizers and lunch entrees, everyone enjoyed the service, food taste and ambiance. Service was gracious for us to bring our own dessert for the celebration and service provided extra dessert plates and utensils to enjoy our dessert so thanks for their attention.Overall, my first experience and impression was 4.5 stars. Left off the half star for the $$$ which averaged over $50pp but would come again and recommend.”

“The service was outstanding our waiter was wonderful. Chris at the bar was great I ordered the veal chop and it was over cooked and under seasoned for $69, it should be perfect. I did not complain or try to send it back but it was tough and under seasoned. Everything else was delicious.”

“Our service was amazing from the hostess to the gentleman that packed up my leftovers. Speaking of.. the portions were large and delicious. We had the blue point oysters which were super fresh, the burrata mozzarella and the Homard Moules pot. Everything was fresh and delicious. The chocolate mousse dessert was on the sweeter side, I prefer a more bitter chocolate, but it was still very good. The price overall is higher than average, but with 2 alcohol beverages $200 with tip was ok and we had leftovers. We went early on a Saturday night and there was more kids than I thought would be there, but it was early,530pm. It was very full and less kids by the time we were leaving. Overall a nice menu selection and excellent service.”

“Dinner was fantastic! We loved the octopus appetizer. For dinner I ordered the scallops with mushroom risotto and my husband ordered the porkchop with wine reduction and cherry peppers, both were delicious! Service was great! Will be back with the kids (teenagers)!”

“Recently moved to the area. Finally had a chance to try out this steakhouse. I have to say, the filet was the best I have ever had. The service is exceptional. Both the owner and chef came by to check on how I was doing. My server Brandon was really on point. I have already told my friends from Texas this is where i will bring them when they visit.”

“This place is great for a meat lover. There are vegan options but mainly for the meat lover lol we fully enjoyed our meats in our meals. The one less star is for the sides the Mac and cheese was excellent but felt like the the Cajun corn and rice was not as flavorful as I thought they would of been but still good enough to have as a side. The service was nice, and I loved the entire ambiance of the place from the bottled light fixtures to the fun aluminum ridged ceiling it felt like we were in a modern barn type of feel which was pretty awesome.”

“Best Mexican food and a huge menu. I had 3 tacos- chicken, shrimp and pork. Each was delicious but so much I couldn't finish. The guacamole was excellent. My husband had a gigantic burrito with excellent sauce”

“This was our first time eating at Revel. We came for the restaurant week menu. It took awhile for someone to come to our table after we were seated. I ordered a cocktail which was very good but cost $18. Bread was brought to the table with a ricotta/honey spread which was very good. My husband and I loved our appetizers and mains. The dessert was very good but a really small portion, probably just as well as I was full. Overall a very nice experience and we will be back to sample the regular menu.”

“The entire dinner and experience was good. For the price, I am not sure if the food value was entirely there for me. Again, the food was good. That is honestly the best way to put it. I can't look back on anything I ate and say to myself that I must tell friends to go and order X, Y, Z. The crowd in general was definitely on the older side, so we could not understand why the noise level was so high. The party music on the other side of the wall contributed to the noise level, so be aware of that as well. The best part of the experience was the hostess and waitstaff. Superior service.”

“I have dined at the Cafe many times. The servers are always delightful, friendly and accommodating. But the last 2 times I had lunch there, the food was not up to its usual high quality. The chicken strips in the tortilla soup were too tough to eat . This time I had the chicken burger. It was awful, filled with grizzle and fat that I had to spit into a napkin. I would avoid those dishes. My friend had the salmon tacos and was happy with them.”

“We ordered our favorites: Lamb chops, chicken tika masala. DELICIOUS. We ordered a few side dishes, but mainly we focused on the lamb chops and chicken. We wanted rice pudding for dessert, but they were out of it! I laughed when I told the waited that this was the 2nd time this dessert was unavailable! We paid the bill and went to the parking lot. A few minutes later, there was the waiter with a container of freshly made rice pudding! How charming and gracious! Did not get his name, but what a charmer. So kind. Above and beyond. As I observed the patrons, this restaurant is very popular with Indians. That is a great indicator of authenticity and deliciousness!”

“I didn't eat there but we were drawn into the friendly atmosphere after leaving the mall.The ambiance is quaint and fun. The staff welcomed us to do a walkthrough and explore ideas for an event. We spotted a nice semi private area that opens out to the patio that will do just fine for 30-40 ppl. It's just an adorable place and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The menu choices are Mediterranean and include a Bronzini . Usually healthy fresh ingredients...can't go wrong. ☺️?Parking: No hassle”

“Love the healthy eating at Le Pain. We stopped by for quick breakfast. It was quiet Sat around 9am. We had our teas and it was hot ( we love hot teas). I had the roasted cauliflower and cheddar frittata. My son had the chicken and mozzarella melt (tartine) and we shared a chia pudding. The frittata came with field greens and some bread. The bread was not warm and slight underwhelming but the rest of the plate was good. I love their salad dressing (some kind of lemon basil base dressing). The salad was fresh (no welding leaves) and the frittata was pipping hot. I could see a couple pieces of cauliflower and taste of cheddar (quite balanced). I didn't get to try the tartine because it was gone in no time. The chia pudding was delish. It has some apple compote and that went well with the coconut based pudding.Parking: Le Pain is located inside Roosevelt Field Mall by Neiman Marcus. There is the mall parking lot.”

“La Nonna Bella is top notch. It is the number one Italian restaurant in garden city. You need to come here! The sauces are delicious! We ordered the spaghetti with tuna, the lobster and linguini special and the special appetizer, which was shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Miguel is the best server and so memorable! Lino- the chef is outstanding! He came to our table and was so genuine and nice! The food is classic Bari cuisine. Lino and the whole staff do an amazing job. Food is really the best.”

Mostly a local merchant walk in office crowd. Meh...shrugs shoulders not bad but much more expensive than expected. Easy free parking in village parking lot out back.”

“Crackers is a spot often overlooked as it is on the entrance road to the Roosevelt Field Mall in an office building's first floor. While this coffee shop offers no table service, the cafeteria style ordering gives you a chance to see all the day's offerings and to peruse their menu board. They make great soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as daily hot lunch specials. Often, I would take home lunch for dinner, especially their Swedish Meatballs and Egg Noodles, Sausage and Peppers, and Chicken Francese. The office favorite is their BLT. A nice bonus if you dine in is their dining room. Decorated in rattan and light colors, it feels like the place belongs far south of Long Island. It is a great spot to meet a friend for lunch and catch up on cable News 12. They draw a business crowd, but the line moves so you can enjoy your lunch.”

I suggested we send Cinnabon’s because I was tired of a box of chocolate and of course who doesn’t love Cinnabon’s. It was the best decision. Cordiela at the Roosevelt field shop was the best.
