“Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from Small Batch. Wonderful experience. Not only was the food fresh, inventive and meticulously prepared, but the staff was just lovely. Everyone was warm, not snobby, and went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday brunch enjoyable for my family. The food focuses on spotlighting the local ingredients and isn't overly fancy. My favorites were the hot fried chicken sandwich, the deconstructed eggplant parm appetizer, and the spaghetti with tomato sauce off of the kids menu (could have used a touch of salt but I think they underseasoned on purpose because it's for kids). The only dish that was pretty underwhelming was the shrimp and grits, which was kind of bland. The decor is also so tasteful and I felt transported to a fancy farmhouse somewhere on the coast of Rhode Island or something. I'll definitely be back!“
“Table service is lacking. The other person dining with me wanted to get a drink while waiting for her meal. I had to disturb another food server who was serving other tables as our server did not return after taking the initial order. I paid by credit card however their system seemed antiquated as I had to physically use my credit card rather than using my wallet pay (Android phone).Vegetarian options: Menu is very descriptive.Dietary restrictions: The menu is very descriptive and as such a person with dietary restrictions will know exactly what they would consume. Any serious concerns request to talk with the manager. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu and the meal preparation as well as the origination of all items being offered on the menu. “The fine dining experience was VERY good. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. My husband’s food was delicious (beet salad and salmon entree). I ordered the lobster bisque which was delicious. I ordered the doc fish entree which was recommended by our server. Unfortunately, the fish had no taste and the sauce made me nauseous. The kale was not edible at all. It was too chewy. Overall, spending time with my husband, in a very nice venue with a very nice vibe, made the experience well worth it.Parking: There’s ample parking, for free, if you don’t want to pay for valet parking.“
“The food was delicious, I had the pot roast with mashed potatoes, broccoli and carrots.Although the food was delicious, broccoli was slightly undercooked and the carrots were overly sweet which in my opinion took away from the savory beef. The pot roast was savory and tender, it all but fell apart with the pull of a fork. Would definitely recommend. (A side note, the dish came with a horseradish sauce that I got on the side and never had a chance to taste.) For desert I had the warm butter cake with a frozen scoop of vanilla ice cream and some fresh strawberries, it was fantastic.“
“My family and I are frequent customers here. All of the staff are super friendly and personable. They even remember us whenever we walk in. They always attend to our needs and we can be needy at times with a fussy two year old. The food is always delicious and fresh. Atmosphere is perfection for mall dining. Honestly our favorite place to eat at RF Mall. Today they surprised my husband and I with a generous goody bag that was leftover from Valentine's Day. That was very kind of them and they didn't have to. They even put some cookies in there because they remembered we have a son at home. Thank you NM Cafe. “For people coming in the first time: there's two sections; the bar and the dining area. If you are going to dine in, make sure to go on the side where they have the benches/chairs not the one by the bar. We waited a while to get served because of this. Though staff was accommodating and helpful. The crowd/atmosphere was more of like mature, dive bar-ish. The food was good; not extremely tasty, it tastes homemade and delicious. The drinks were pretty good. Reminds me of a traditional pub in Ireland.“
“It’s a decent healthy spot where you can get burritos, wraps, burgers, smoothies, and bowls. I had the salmon with stir fry vegetables and basmati rice, but it had a lot of sauce, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu and a bit spicy which is not what I usually go for - I will say it was flavorful though. There’s some indoor and outdoor seating.Kid-friendliness: Went with my kids, it’s family/kid-friendly. No separate menu for them however. But I share my meals with them, so either way it works.“
“BK Sweeney's is a popular Long Island bar located in Garden City that offers classic American bar fare. During my recent visit, the 'BKS Angus Steakhouse Burger' stood out as a winner for me. It was perfectly cooked, though the fries were a bit bland. However, the service wasn't great - our waitress not only ignored us throughout the entire meal, but also forgot to bring out all three of our appetizers. When we raised it to her attention, she asked if we wanted to take them to-go...who would ever want to get charged and take them to-go? We ended up canceling them entirely. You might be curious about my 4-star rating for this restaurant. Despite this recent hiccup, my previous visits to BK Sweeney's were issue free. I believe it is not fair to penalize the entire business for the actions of one waitress. I'll definitely be returning soon to give it another go.“
“It’s set up beautifully and the service is fantastic. The food was just ok. The baked clams were decent but it just felt like it was missing something in the flavor and the Bronzino was a little bland. The lobster Mac and cheese was great and was a large portion. The menu is expansive and from the pics of their brunch food I definitely want to come back and try their brunch one of these weekends.“
“My husband, my one year old son, and I always come here! It's always something special or on a whim. We love the fact we can dine here and have an experience with little to no issues. We love having Juanito as our server! He's kind, professional, friendly and always makes the best drinks. He has really shown his personality with us and we sincerely appreciate that! To my embarrassment , my one year old knocked his food off the table and Juanito understood! As a new mom, things like that have us feeling so apologetic!! But I am appreciative that he was not annoyed and he also shared his experiences. He is always making us feel welcomed and I am so happy to write this review to praise him and his work ethic. Thanks to Nordstrom for hiring a wonderful individual such as Juanito. 5 stars for food, ambiance and of course... the amazing service— always! “I was impressed with this restaurant. My friends and I were greeted warmly and seated right away. I ordered the quinoa burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was quite good and the fries were stellar. My friend ordered the BLTA salad and she said it was okay. The atmosphere was like a friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant where everyone knows your name. Overall, I'd definitely come back here if I was in the area to eat and enjoy a beer.“
“The highlight here is the waitstaff! Attentive, friendly & engaging without being obsequious or intrusive. The server who torched the signature bacon appetizer at our table was an outstanding young man and credit to the restaurant; the bacon itself is one of the loveliest things I have tasted. Two minor course corrections: be an elegant restaurant or be a sports bar; you can't be both... the 3 large TV's don't need to be tuned to ESPN during brunch. Also, when the hotel door is propped open allowing a 30° draft to pour into the restaurant, the hostess could stop scrolling long enough to take 10 steps and close it rather than waiting for a patron to do it.“
