“We came to Fosters for the fried chicken and it exceeded our expectations. We had the bread, broccolini Caesar and then the chicken. Everything was so fresh and different than anything we’ve had before. For dessert we had the famous banana foster which was OUTSTANDING! I also had the Call my hand Banana cocktail that was really delicious. Our server Casey was super sweet and attentive. Will be back again! Perfect date night spot. The atmosphere & decor was also great!“

“I experienced Nettie’s for the first time last evening. My dining experience was excellent from arrival to departure. The food was “DELISH!” The owner was welcoming & hospitable, the service was good, and the music and atmosphere wea awesome! I am so pleased and proud to have a “Black” owned establishment where you can dine in Queens in a tasteful environment, supporting our entrepreneurs and our community. “GOLDEN K BURGERS has a good rating. The burgers are solid, though a little pricey and they did not have their signature Bulgogi Burger. The vanilla shake was solid, and the chicken wings were awesome. All the burgers were well-flavored and had a juicy patty. The server was friendly, but the narrow little restaurant looked a little sad, we thought there would be more people instead of being the only customers. I would go again, however. The lunch menu prices are worth it, and the happy hour from 4pm to 8pm seem worth it, too.“

“Was hungry, so I went out by myself.
Ordered 1/2 $ appetizers (10pm on).
- Chicken nuggets (Asian flavor)
- Chicken quesadilla
Nuggets were fine. Accompanying Ranch dressing was disappointing, so waitress brought me blue cheese dressing (better!)
Lost a star on the Quesadilla as the IRL version looked so unlike their advertised version. Will add photos for difference. Forgot to take IRL photo upon it/their arrivals, but you can definitely see the lack of advertised components.
Flavor was tasty, but lack of innards meant less filling, so I wound up ordering a second Quesadilla. (Though I took >50% home)
Tipped based on the full appetizer amount. My waitress was very nice, professional and helpful.“

“I went there for my friends retirement party. It was fantastic. The food service n decor was A+. The appetizer dinner m dessert was pre selected but it was delicious n suitable. I choose the chicken cacciatore. It came was mash n long string beans DELICIOUS..The dessert was a trio of little renditions of strawberry cheesecake, chocolate moose cake. Carrot cake. And conoli . Everything was perfect“

“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! “We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“The food here is absolutely delicious! Also, the portion sizes are excellent given the consistently high quality of the food and the surprisingly low price that you pay for that quality. Oh, and the service was excellent too! All of our glasses were served chilled, and the staff were extremely attentive and responsive despite the language barrier between us (I wish I spoke better Spanish and Portuguese!)“
