Although I must say the food was good, I think it is a tad overpriced for the amount of food one gets. I did take out (Easter Sunday) and had an additional side of candied yams (sweet potatoes with only 4 thin slices and was charged $7 for this side...WHAT??!! The (whiting) fish dinner (3 SLICES FISH, MAC N' CHEESE AND COLLARDS) totaled $32( incl. the sweet potato side.) Good dinner BUT OVERPRICED.Parking: Parking not great.
This place is a gem. The food was delicious!! I had the country brunch and it did not disappoint. I did a take out of the catfish dinner with Mac and cheese and yams and a side order of greens. Hands down the greens were the best outside greens I have ever had. The owner came and introduced himself and was very social with all the patrons. Great atmosphere!!I will be going back!!

I experienced Nettie’s for the first time last evening. My dining experience was excellent from arrival to departure. The food was “DELISH!” The owner was welcoming & hospitable, the service was good, and the music and atmosphere wea awesome! I am so pleased and proud to have a “Black” owned establishment where you can dine in Queens in a tasteful environment, supporting our entrepreneurs and our community. I, along with others will be back!!!
