“One of the few meals my family can all agree on. I could eat this every day. The regular philly with cheese wiz is amazing. After trying Pat and Gino’s in Philadelphia, and then others, I was convinced that I did not like cheese wiz on my Philly. I was wrong, hands down this is the best. Cost unfortunately remains the only barrier; over $70 to feed a family of four for lunch is a bit much. $50-60 is my top price point for a fun meal from out.“

“These prices r better in NJ. The lunch is 1099 and you also can take lunch out to go home. The only good thing here is that you can have the lunch time in and just have to wait to pack it up to take it to go home what's a lunch is 1299 here in N.Y. Also the food in NJ was cooked better I had to return the pasta for some new one cooked properly. Cold meat.“

“West end has been one of our favorite places to dine for over 30 years. They have kept up the wonderful food and service even though Management has changed. The food was always outstanding and it hasn't changed. The service was always spot on and continues to be warm and caring. The four of had their prix fixed dinner and it was outstanding. The portions were the same size as the ala carte menu and the food was spot on. hadn't been there in a while because of some health issues but we will be regulars again as will our friends.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

There’s an outdoor patio, that for obvious reason we couldn’t use. The temperatures in NY have been in the single digits lately. The food and the service were on another level! Gregory was very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food was finger liking good! I had the pan seared scallops with spinach risotto and OMG. I can’t wait to go back. Everyone was pleased with the their food choices and I highly recommend this place, unfortunately I didn’t take pics of everyone’s food. Only if mine, I hope you find this review useful. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to.
