“We came to Fosters for the fried chicken and it exceeded our expectations. We had the bread, broccolini Caesar and then the chicken. Everything was so fresh and different than anything we’ve had before. For dessert we had the famous banana foster which was OUTSTANDING! I also had the Call my hand Banana cocktail that was really delicious. Our server Casey was super sweet and attentive. Will be back again! Perfect date night spot. The atmosphere & decor was also great!“

“Tucked in a small shopping center on Hicksville Road, is this cozy place! We met another couple there for dinner and drinks. The food was excellent! We had the sauerbraten from the Octoberfest menu, the pot roast hero, and the schnitzel. Everything was fresh and tasty. The portions were generous, and the drinks were flowing. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. This was our first time here, but we’ll be back.“

Ordered 1/2 $ appetizers (10pm on).
- Chicken nuggets (Asian flavor)
- Chicken quesadilla

Nuggets were fine. Accompanying Ranch dressing was disappointing, so waitress brought me blue cheese dressing (better!)

Lost a star on the Quesadilla as the IRL version looked so unlike their advertised version. Will add photos for difference. Forgot to take IRL photo upon it/their arrivals, but you can definitely see the lack of advertised components.
Flavor was tasty, but lack of innards meant less filling, so I wound up ordering a second Quesadilla. (Though I took >50% home)

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! “I went there for my friends retirement party. It was fantastic. The food service n decor was A+. The appetizer dinner m dessert was pre selected but it was delicious n suitable. I choose the chicken cacciatore. It came was mash n long string beans DELICIOUS..The dessert was a trio of little renditions of strawberry cheesecake, chocolate moose cake. Carrot cake. And conoli . “This place does mainly a takeout business, there are 3 small tables to wait in if desired, but it is noisy and there is a lot of Doordash/uber eats activity in and out, and for good reason: the food is consistently excellent and the quantity served makes it a terrific value. The salads are terrific and we love that you can not only get chicken souvlaki chunks or chicken gyro meat on salads or platters and both are terrific. Tzatziki - amazing. If you're a fan of baklava, theirs is better than most bakeries around. Spanakopita is also excellent. Think of it is restaurant quality but in takeout form. We absolutely love the guys who run the place, very friendly, very gracious. There aren't that many Greek places in Nassau that hit it out of the park for us, but these guys do, every time. Go!“
