My husband took one bite out of his dessert and I noticed something hanging. Turned out to be a very long hair that had apparently been stuck to the icing. He spit everything out and flagged down the waitress. She didn’t seem to phased and offered him a replacement dessert which he of course declined. Honestly I expected her to report it to a manager and to make some sort of concession. Another dessert wasn’t going to cut it since we just found a long hair in it. I found that very odd because any other place would have offered us something, a coupon, money off the bill, something. No manager coming to apologize. Nothing.Do they not want people to come back?“

The food was always outstanding and it hasn't changed. The service was always spot on and continues to be warm and caring. The four of had their prix fixed dinner and it was outstanding. The portions were the same size as the ala carte menu and the food was spot on. hadn't been there in a while because of some health issues but we will be regulars again as will our friends.“

I hosted a party of 20 at Applebee’s, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, organized, and incredibly accommodating. Handling a large group is never easy, but they made it look effortless.

Our server Alexandra went above and beyond, keeping drinks full, orders accurate, and everyone happy. The food came out quickly, hot, and perfectly cooked. Not a single mistake, which is impressive for such a big party! Every guest raved about both the service and the quality of the food.

The team Projwal Pradhan, Alexandra and Angel truly made our celebration smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. I’m so grateful for their professionalism and kindness. We will definitely be returning for future gatherings!

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. “Vietnamese food was something that took a long time to get to Nassau County. I use to only get it when on business trips. Now I come here as often as I can. Every item on the menu is excellent. Beef Pho is so good! Atmosphere is nice and clean and the service are great too. I'm going again today!“

“A companion and I stopped in for lunch yesterday. We arrived at eleven in the morning, not realizing that the restaurant opens at eleven. A gentleman, who I assume was a manager, quickly seated my companion and I at a table near the door. During our visit a few more parties arrived (mostly older/retirees) and they were also seated in our section.

My companion and I both ordered from the $10 lunch menu. I ordered the shrimp salad and they ordered pasta w/ soup on the side. All entrees on the lunch deal menu come with a free beverage.

For ten bucks, the salad was surprisingly hearty. All of the ingredients tasted fresh. The lettuce was crisp, the shrimp were flavorful (possibly too much seasoning), and the other ingredients (guac, rice, salsa, lettuce, etc) seemed to be of good quality.

Our waitress was attentive and offered refills when our drinks ran low.“
